About this apartment rental
Our charming three-bedroom duplex in Andersonville is steps to the beach, antique shopping, and so many food options - plus, with a billiards table and wet bar in the basement and plenty of outdoor space, you may not even want to leave! With two full bathrooms and bedrooms on both floors, it's an ideal space for those traveling as a group, or with children. We're about a half-hour from the Loop on public transit, and it's just a couple stops south to get to Wrigley Field - book today!
Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.
Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.
Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.
Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.
Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.
1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.
2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property. Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.
3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.
4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.
5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.
6.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.
7.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests. If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.
8.) Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.
9.) Lost and Found: We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. Please be sure to check the home (including all drawers and closets) before you depart to ensure you have all of your personal belongings.

It was clean and in a great neighborhood. Only had trouble finding parking but still was an amazing trip. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful property conveniently located near the shore and the L. Only a few short stops away from Wrigley Field and an easy trip downtown. If you want to stay in Edwater there are plenty of great spots to eat and drink near by.

The property is in a charming neighborhood. Very close to everything we needed for our stay. The back porch was perfect for morning coffee and relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need for a night in. However, I am not sure why you would like to stay in with all the choices so close. There was easy access to public transportation which we used to get around. Sleeping accommodations were fine and having 2 bathrooms was definitely a plus. We even enjoyed a family game night after a long day out. My family would definitely stay here again if needed.

This is a wonderful flat in the Edgewater neighborhood. The building is in a quiet residential community but with shopping, restaurants, and beaches just a few minutes walk away. The L stop was under construction during our stay but would otherwise be very convenient for public transportation. The apartment has two bedrooms and a bath on the main floor and a third bathroom and full back in a finished basement space. Lots of period charm and the apartment is very well maintained and appointed. On our first morning we realized that the coffee machine was not working and the basement bathroom got stuck. We contacted the management company via the VRBO app, and they said they would send someone to check it out. We eventually solved both problems ourselves rather than wait an undetermined amount of time to have it fixed. Just be aware that if anything goes wrong, the "owner" is an out of area company with no ability to provide quick help. And you should be prepared to have problems with the downstairs toilet each morning. Otherwise, highly recommended location and home.

Close to the beach! This Edgewater home is in a friendly neighborhood and will be very close to the new train stop when it opens. (Funny to see the train go whizzing by and be so quiet.)

Property was clean, charming, and thoughtfully stocked. Neighborhood was very walkable and felt safe. We loved the spacious unit that was remodeled to retain its period charm, with modern kitchen and bath. We love how you did the kitchen.

We hosted a friend from Sweden. We decided a visit to Chicago would be perfect, and it was. The area was beautiful, and there are so many great restaurants. We loved the house, it was perfect for our stay and our Swedish friend was very impressed. The beds are extremely comfortable, which is great when you've spent a long day touring!

This is a perfect gathering spot and exactly as described. Very clean and well stocked. The property is quiet and yet close to the grocery store and a wonderful new coffee shop. Crisp clean sheets and very comfortable beds. It is right around the corner from a nice park and a short walk to great dining and shopping. A 10!

This property was really nice to stay at. They had everything you would need. The only small issue I had was that I was told they would send me instructions 3-5 days in advance but I got the instructions about 6.5 hours before we were going to arrive. Once we got the info it was all smooth and an amazing stay. I definitely would recommend this spot to a friend!

Great place to stay. Loved the fact that there were two hang out areas and places to stay. Kids hung out and slept in the basement and adults were upstairs. Loved it!

Perfect home base for our girlfriend weekend honoring our bride-to-be in her pursuit of the perfect wedding dress. The beautiful, very spacious, lower-level suite is fabulous, the bedrooms are extraordinarily comfy, and the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. The concierge was terrific when we had a little issue with the door code. The kitchen was perfectly appointed, the appliances were top-notch, and the outdoor seating was excellent. Beautiful new bathroom and kitchen. It's the perfect location. Thank you for opening your home.

The property was really nice and loved the location. Had some initial issues arriving at the place due to there being two doors that needed a code to enter and the code we received only worked on the outer door. The issue was quickly resolved over a phone call. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We were in Chicago for a weekend family celebration, with activities aroung the city. This house was a great location for all the events that were planned. It was clean and prepared for any family needs. We had everything needed to prepare meals, except for the food. It had seasonings, and foil and plastic bags for great clean up. It was a great home away from home. All five of us felt relaxed after our very busy weekend. Neighborhood was quiet, and clean. We were impressed by the quality of the home.We were blocks from the L and buses ran down the street yet we did not hear a sound. Blocks away from Pizzeria Amora - food was great. Great time. Great house.

This place was great and perfect for our needs. We were a family group needing a place to stay together in Chicago. If you are not familiar with Chicago, this unit is the Edgewater area, convenient to Andersonville (and lots of great eateries!), two grocery stores, Lake Michigan, and the Red Line with easy access to downtown. The unit itself is lovely—clean and recently remodeled, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy bedrooms, and plenty of living spaces for hanging out and socializing, including a porch, back deck, and patio. We did have a slight glitch accessing the unit upon check-in, but the issue was quickly resolved by the friendly concierge staff who are available 24/7. Highly recommend and, as we are frequent visitors to Chicago, we hope we can stay again sometime!

This property was literally the perfect spot. Perfect because of its location and proximity to the east of the red line, and for our group. The home has two floors which worked great for those that wanted to go to bed early and the night owls could play pool in the basement and sleep downstairs. Perfect outdoor patio to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or dBrief about the wonderful day spent in the city.
Jewel-Osco is literally one block away so you can easily go get groceries and carry them back if you don’t want to use your car.
Plenty of scooters around if you want to rent a scooter and take a little ride to the boutique shops of Addison.
Literally, this was the perfect spot, and we cannot wait to visit again!

The condo was great! Parking at night is tough so get there earlier in the day if possible. Having the parking website linked to the listing would be helpful so guests know when they need to pay for parking.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Location was excellent though I didn’t realize the Berwyn so was closed until we arrived. But there are buses and lots to walk to. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Thanks for a wonderful stay. We had one small hiccup in trying to get in to the unit but it was quickly resolved. The hosts were super responsive and the rest of our stay was great. Beds were comfortable. The location was quiet and conveniently located. Would highly recommend.
