Another great stay at this hotel for me. I like the safe spacious parking, comfort of the rooms, resturant food choices & breakfast and walk in showers.

Really well put together hotel. Easy auto check in sytem. Hi tech room with nice embelishments such as a dyson hairdryer and huge TV screen. Pretty good VFM when many Bristol City Cente hotels were £300plus.

One night stay
Super helpful friendly guy on check in.
We had food & drinks in bar while awaiting arrival of friends.
The fish wrap was gorgeous, Served with fresh hot fries.
My partner had a pizza which was served on a long wooden platter. Was enough for 2 or 1 bigger appetite.Team in bar area were great, Nothing was to much trouble even when it got busier.
Plenty of Tea/Sugar/milk etc in Room
Huge bed, great clean linen.
Bathroom was in the whole clean but it did look a bit tired around shower entrance.
But Towels were fluffy & spotless.
Breakfast was good.
Poached eggs available on request and the fruit & Pastries were topped up in a timely manner.
All in all a great place to stay if you’re coming to area.
If you’re looking for a retreat maybe not for you but we loved the buzz !
Gym attached but didn’t venture there ! It seemed very popular.
Car park is free weekends until 3pm it’s overlooked and seemed very safe.
Thank you to the team members who made our stay lovely.

Very impressed with hotel. Excellent room. Loved the press button shower and Dyson hairdryer. Even though hotel was surrounded in by busy roads the room was very quiet. Though the hotel was busy it was still easy to park in the carpark. Reasonable choice for breakfast

This is a difficult place to get to. With the road works and the motorway, it gets very noisy. The staff is not very helpful and the place is not very good if you have to work. It was my second time there but it will be my last.

We stayed in the village hotel for 2 nights and I honestly would have left after the 1st if we didn’t have plans in the local and surrounding areas.
The hotel itself looks quite impressive outside and inside, unfortunately, our experience didn’t match that. The check in is clunky with a self service touch screen. There was a member of staff who helped me but the are was dirty, the screen too so I had to wash my hands as soon as I could.
The room looked ok, however, there wasn’t much loo roll and the shower gel provided was almost empty. Luckily we brought our own toiletries. Cleanliness was a bit questionable and when our room was cleaned whilst we were out, it looked like little to no effort was made. We always leave our room in a respectful way, but the bed was made very poorly.
We also had an issue with the pool. The lady on the desk was not very polite or helpful. We asked where to go and she gave us directions upstairs. We then could not find the towels, another guest told us we should have been given them at the desk. I went back down and was shocked again at the artifice of the lady when I asked how we get towels. She just put them on the desk in front of me. Pretty rude. The stairs down to the pool were dirty, I’m glad I had flip flops. The pool was not monitored by staff and at times I felt uncomfortable as it was mainly males and my partner and I were in the jacuzzi where the maximum number was exceeded. I felt uncomfortable and left.
Breakfast was the worst!

I booked the Village Inn, Bristol for one night as it appeared to have everything on site.
I had dinner in the ‘Grill Restaurant’, I had to ask the waitress twice to take my order. I ordered the peri-peri stack and a pint of Blackcurrant and Soda. The food came before the drink. Upon receiving my meal, I asked the waitress (a different one) for my drink she told me bluntly “I just run the kitchen”.. no drink…!
During the meal I went to the bar and asked a male member of staff about my drink, he said it would come in a minute - still nothing.
After I finished my meal… so it had been cooked and eaten my drink was still nowhere to be seen.. when the waitress came to collect my plate after the meal I asked for my drink again, and she finally brought it (receipt attached).
I then went to breakfast 5 minutes after it opened. Coffee machine not on and not restored, no spoons out for hot food and the food was warm at very best… so I then went for some yogurt and fruit!
The fruit bowl was disgusting (attached) and showed the manager.
I don’t think he could be less bothered if he tried.

Detested the glass panels segregating the bathroom from the room. You have to push a switch to mske the glass go opaque. It does stop you from seeing in, butyou can dtill see silhouettes when the bathroom night light automatically comes on.
Also absolutely zero privacy in the room from any bathroom noises e.g groans, plops and illness noisees.
I guess this is supposed to be modern hotelling, but in reality its cheap and nasty. Completely off-putting and i wouldn't use again!

Hotel was in a good location for where we needed. Good sized car park, nice area on arrival. Room was clean on arrival though rip in the duvet. Stayed 2 nights but room wasn’t cleaned even though sign on the door which meant using damp towels for shower on the second night (no heated rail to hang them on) and ran out of tissue paper.

The only issue I had was that I chose the ‘pay at property’ option but money was taken from me account 24 hours prior to my check in and that I think there could have been another member of staff at breakfast as there was an abnormally large amount of guests. Other than that, amazing hotel, food, facilities, and a good selection of alcoholic beverages including cocktails.

Great hotel, staff overall good, dining staff somewhat slow but manager keeps them in check and goes out of his way to assist. A very good gym/pool facility! But given it’s a 24 hour gym why can’t guests use it 24 hours?

Enjoyed our stay at the village. The check in and checkout were easy to do plus there were helpful staff in reception to help if needed. Room was clean and roomy plus the bed was really comfy. Breakfast had plenty of choice, cooked breakfast, cereals, croissants etc on a help yourself basis. Have stayed a few times here and never been disappointed.
