I have stayed at this facility various times over the past several years. The new owner managers - Dave and Patsy - have continued to make this hotel a very welcome facility. Both are prompt and professional in caring for the guests. I spent several enjoyable hours talking with them every evening. I can’t thank them enough for facilitating my reservations that were made on very short notice. I wish them both continued success. If I return to Birmingham again - as will be likely - my first choice for accommodations is the Old Farm Hotel. As a side note to owner/managers Dave and Patsy - THANK YOU.
No complaints - everything was great.

Location was ideal for my requirement. Breakfast was excellent, good choice of food, very well cooked and not. Food was ordered and delivered very quickly .
Nothing everything was excellent

The Old Farm is in an excellent location just opposite Cadbury World in the pretty village of Bournville. There was free parking onsite and the breakfast was a nice full English. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and there was a tv and tea/coffee/biscuits.
Breakfast is only served from 8-9am (even on Sunday), and check-out is at 10am. The heating only comes on around 7.45am, and as it was 2C outside, the room was very cold overnight, making it difficult to sleep. There was also no heating in the shower room.

clean room with all amenities needed.
parking on site and easy to find.
breakfast was fabulous and set me up perfectly for the day.
owners really friendly and welcoming
when I first arrived the room was roasting - but left windows open all evening and by night time it was fine. noisy road but couldn’t be helped and after 9pm it was pretty quiet.
The bathroom tiny but fine for the room.
wish there had been decaf sachets of tea or coffee maybe a hot chocolate hehe

Clean and friendly. Quiet with great location
Nothing apart from I needed an iron to do a shirt for a church service and there isn’t one. Small jiggle only

Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good and plenty of it. The accommodation has a great location too.

Excellent location in lovely, leafy, Bournville. Good breakfast. Very nice garden setting.
Standard double room was rather small with bed pushed up against the wall. Perhaps other rooms are larger?
8.0
A functional and comfortable hotel room with easy to use appliances including the a shower and comfortable bed. Tasty breakfasts and really friendly staff who were accommodating of an autistic customer in their midst.
Perhaps air conditioning would have been a nice bonus particularly if the temperature had been hotter and creaking floorboards made things a little bit nerve wracking when moving around. Also could have more textual information inside the hotel room itself.

Lovely area, owners we very welcoming. Fantastic garden for the kids to play in.
I didn’t notice the bar until it was closed-but that’s my issue nothing negative about the hotel.

The hosts were so welcoming, location was perfect for our needs too!
The shower in our room wasn’t the most powerful but it isn’t a negative point as it worked fine!

We checked in late which was very well handled. Lovely welcome.

Excellent breakfast.
Our given room was a wet room. The indication being suitable for a disabled person. BUT, the room was very cramped with bed pushed against wall. As husband is disabled this was difficult. If he slept on outer side, I, in my 70s had problems getting in and out of bed. Also wet room remained flooded after a shower making it dangerous as my husband's condition does not give him feeling in his feet and balance problems. That being said, owners were very helpful and explained they had only been there a year and we're aware this area needed updating. They are very pleasant people and it is obvious when renovations are complete it will be lovely. Hotel was light, bright and very clean.

I was working so didn't really get a chance to meet any staff, apart from the time I arrived. Nice enough greeting. Bit of a self service affair. Having travelled for 2.5 hours would have been nice to be offered a drink or something. No food, no bar, no nothing really. I don't think that the price of £125.00 per night matched the expectations at all so disappointed overall. Nice location and close to my work for two days. Just felt like a ghost who came to stay! Room was clean enough, shower leaked all over the floor. Second night i did not have a spoon so couldn't make tea in the morning with milk that I didn't really want anyway.
Food offerings would have been nice rather than a plate with a knife and fork and get on with it attitude.

Location was ideal for me. The staff were very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable.
I would have liked a chair in my room. And I would of liked a charging point for my phone.

Comfortable room. Homely atmosphere. Garden looks good.
Would have liked the bar open, with access to the garden as the evening weather was great.

The staff were very helpful and obliging. The hotel garden was very private and lovely to sit in in the sun.
Nothing really. The room was on the small side but fine for one night

Pat and Dave were lovely hosts, rooms super clean and breakfast in the morning was quick and really good. Location was very close to Cadbury's World and would highly recommend.

Location
Tiny room. Misleading pictures gave a very false sense of size and space . Double bed pushed against one wall. Essentially a small studio. Very poor value for £110 per night.

Nice hotel, convenient purpose of our visit
Not the hotel’s fault but unfortunately the visitors next door were rather noisy late and night and early in the morning
