Cottage was well equiped. Lots of nice touches, like fresh loaf, spread and milk and wine, not forgetting the lovely biscuits.
Also lots of extras, a firestick, Wi-Fi very good. Everything laid on for a nice stay. Very close to lots of places to visit with lots of information to hand. Also lots of great places to eat in the Town itself within walking distance.
Road traffic fairly heavy at times. Parking a bit hit and miss, but this did not spoil our holiday.

Charming little cottage, oozing with character. The owners also left us lots of treats from biscuits to wine and a coffee machine with coffee pods. Thank you!
The bath was fabulous too. The front room and sofa were really comfortable and relaxing.
And the books!! We really appreciated the many books by or edited by Chris Wrigley on Cromford and its industrial history. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The bed was a little uncomfortable but ok.

The cottage was loverly and very well equipped, even down to coffee/tea and milk and butter in the fridge.
The location was superb.
Nothing comes to mind.

Well equipped cottage.
Easy to get around to places of interest.
Very quaint cottage.
Owners provided us with goodies, wine, bread, coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, margarine.
Thanks to them, very thoughtful.
Flies were a pest, however owners not responsible for that.
Take plenty of fly spray if weather hot.
Waste pipe fell off and all water from bath/ shower ran down path, managed to refit pipe and all was well.
Needs cleaning up outside where you sit, I managed to sweep up dead weeds etc.
Seating outside and table needs a makeover. Fortunately we had our own chairs.
Apart from that no probs.

The cottage was spotless, the owner went the extra mile in catering for the needs of their customers. The goodies provided we're a lovely surprise. The cottage is situated in a good location with a bus stop just outside the front door, plenty of lovely walks near & far.
Unfortunately for us the mattress was a bit hard .
We found the road noise rather disturbing at night, had we been able to shut the window tighter we think it would have made a difference. But that was the only two negatives.

It was a very cosy cottage and how it looked on booking.com
We didn’t like the bathroom facilities because we are both 80 and couldn’t climb into the free standing bath to be able to shower . We accept we didn’t notice it too much when we made our booking!!! No instructions for the cooker, we made use of the microwave.

Everything I needed in a space just for me.
The noise from the road for most of the night.

Due to the hot weather it would have been good to have had an alternative to a very warm duvet

The cottage was to a very high standard, spotlessly clean, well presented. Very good amenities in walking distance, couldn't fault it.
Nothing not to like.

Location great, Fab for walking
8.0 / 10.0
Lovely little cottage, well equipped with everything you may need.
On a busy road, but noise wasn't really intrusive.
Lovely bottle of wine and biscuits for arrival.
Hosts were easily contactable if you needed them.
Only criticism, mattress could do with an upgrade as quite lumpy and uncomfortable.
Other than that, faultless!!

Liked architecture and surroundings
Would have been good to have instructions for things like the TV and the cooker

Location was great and a charming little house with a lovely free standing bath and some nice little touches like a bottle of wine left for us and the bath robes. Had a nice hotel feel but more private and homey.
The mattress was too hard for us sadly. And the heating was very noisy and woke us up…but that is just an ‘old house’ issue, which prob can’t be helped.

Location near centre of Cromford excellent
Sofa wasn't very comfy.

The cottage had everything that you needed. The owners even left milk, tea and coffee, bread and butter for your arrival.
It's only a personal thing but I had forgotten that the cottages have single glazing and are on a main road. So this meant I didn't sleep well.
