Cozy private spot. Easy access to Custer, wind cave, jewel cave, black elk peak. Day trips to the devils tower and badlands. Hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Thank you Jon and Lori

When reading the reviews prior to booking we knew this was was exactly what we were looking for!
Apon arrival Lori and Jon welcomed us and gave us a thorough tour and explained everything we needed to know and gave us some great suggestions with things to see and do while in the area. Instantly we were in awww over this property. The hottub, loungers & hammock, being next to the golf course and the scenery were our favorite additions to accomodations. During our 4 nights there we took in many of black hills attractions but also made sure to enjoy some downtime soaking in the beauty here too!
We can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Jon and Lori for all your hospitaly and sharing your piece of paradise with us!
We will definitely be back :)

Great location very private and comfortable. Jon and Lori were extremely nice and available if we needed anything. Camper was stocked well with everything you needed.

This vacation spot was a home away from home. We spent most of the time exploring the state parks, so coming back to such a serene place with caring hosts made a chaotic trip seem simpler.

From the start the owners made you feel welcome and like family. They showed you around and all about the camper. They Also let you know about places you should check out in Custer and surrounding areas. We loved the peace and quiet. The wildlife was great too. Deer every evening and turkeys in the mornings. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location just outside Custer with homeowner on site, but out of direct view. Well-appointed inside and out- they have thought of everything. Bed and hide-a-bed were comfortable for my son and myself.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Jon and Lori were incredibly nice and accommodating hosts. The site is wonderfully private and quiet, offering a peaceful retreat. Our family particularly enjoyed the hot tub, and we were delighted to watch deer pass through the woods on their way to the golf course each evening.
The beds, including the pull-out couch, were exceptionally comfortable. The camper itself was spacious, well-maintained, and felt more like a home than a camper. The owners clearly take immaculate care of both the camper and the property.
We loved relaxing in the lounge chairs, surrounded by the beauty of the woods and wildlife, while occasionally spotting golfers. The location is ideal for accessing all the Black Hills attractions, making it the perfect home base for our long weekend in South Dakota.
Our kids enjoyed it so much that they wanted to stay at the camper instead of sightseeing on our last day, saying, "It doesn't feel like a camper. It feels like a house!"
Thank you, Jon and Lori, for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Excellent host helped kick this trip off right. A perfect setup for a couple or a family, you have all the essentials. They have really made the outdoor space great withba hot tub, fire pit, hammock, etc. Quiet area with great views of the stars. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I decided we wanted to stay in something different for our stay in the Black Hills instead of a hotel. This property is amazing! So relaxing and peaceful, just far enough from the highway and super close to main street in Custer. The hosts were very responsive, answered any questions we had and were so friendly. They have enough space for parking a trailer, we brought our motorcycle. One our favorite things was to sit in the hot tub after a long ride. I also enoyed the hammock in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The site was amazing, camper clean and welcoming. The beds and sleeper sofa were comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets. The site as a whole had a great feel, twinkle lights and table on the porch were a great space to hang out. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after dinner. The hosts were amazing and welcoming. They gave great local recommendations and helped us find a mechanic when our car broke down! Would definitely stay there again! Thanks for everything!

We had a great time in our rental, the mangers were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to get a hold of them with questions which they answered right away. They even mailed us back a few items that we left behind! The surrounding area was beautiful and close to attraction, but seemed to be tucked away on its own. We would love to stay there again.

If you want a fantastic home base for your Black Hills adventure, this is it! It is a camper, which my husband was unsure of, but he quickly changed his tune! While we didn't spend much time in the camper (shower and sleep), it was clean and well-appointed (2 shower towels, two hot tub towels, two washcloths, COFFEE, dishes, cooking spices, grilling tools, and more). The switch to an on-demand water heater is a significant camper upgrade. We LOVED the peacefulness of the place. There are NO neighbors to the South, West, or North, and the privacy from the homeowners was well laid out. They thought of everything for relaxation and comfort. There is a hot tub. And it was great! There is a propane grill, a fire pit with wood available, and a hammock. I'd give them ten stars if I could. The one minor hiccup we had was the Vrbo map sending us to the neighbors, but the hosts were so responsive we had that dealt with in no time. p.s. If you plan a fall trip to this area, stay here and check out the Buffalo Round-Up in Custer State Park.

Everything was immaculately clean. Camper, deck and “yard” were very comfortable. The hot tub was fabulous! The location was great to see the area sights and nice to return to after a day of sightseeing! Hosts were very helpful.

We loved the property and enjoyed time in the hot tub! We wish we'd had a few more days to stay here. We will recommend it to anyone we know visiting the area!

This place is nothing short of perfection! We loved every minute of our stay!!! The place was beautiful inside and out! Everything was wonderful inside and the bed was super comfy. Even tho it was warm outside we still turned on the beautiful fireplace (just didnt turn the heat on on it. Lol) when we were inside. Now to the outside....dreamy wonderful!! The firepit was so enjoyable every night and morning, the hottub was wonderful and getting to look at the fire while sitting in the hottub and watch the moon come up was perfection! The views and areas to walk and look at were beautiful!
Jon and Lori were so accomodating and we couldn't have asked for a more great stay for our anniversary. Thank you so much for the amazing oasis for us to rest and recoup at!😍😍

This was our second time staying and hope to be back soon. After a busy day riding the Black Hills with our motorcycle we can come home and relax with a camp fire or hot tub or both. Great setting and next to golf which we enjoy also. Jon and Lori are such great hosts so for just the two of us it's the perfect vacation.

Breathtaking views, great location. Amenities were awesome, enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, grill, deck and walking trails. The RV was very roomy, very clean and super comfortable bed. Great family get away for all ages. Our second grader school and high school teenager both enjoyed it. Would love to come back again. Hosts were very nice and friendly. Recommending this to family and friends as a great option to stay at, when visiting the black hills.

I brought my 92 yo mother for her 1st visit to Mt Rushmore. I stayed with Lori & Jon a couple of years ago and knew it would be a comfortable place to bring her.

We absolutely loved our 1st glamping experience. All the amenities of home set in a little piece of paradise. We loved watching the deer each evening while we enjoyed the outdoor living area. The RV is immaculately kept and the owners were wonderful hosts to their property. Perfect accomodations for our family, close to everything, yet remote enough to relax in a quiet setting.

The pictures do not do this justice! The location is beautiful , peaceful and is so convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The camper itself was perfect for my granddaughter and myself. Jon & Lori met us on our arrival and gave us a thorough tour of all the features. The fireplace in the living room actually came in handy to take the chill off the mornings. One of the reasons we booked this camper was so my granddaughter could sit on the rock. She was thrilled to find not only 1 but 3 huge rocks to climb on. Jon & Lori were readily available to answer our questions but not intrusive. They took some pics of us climbing the rocks and texted them to us.
I advise future guests to try to spend some time just relaxing at the camper and savoring this beautiful property. I can't recommend it enough and was sorry that we could only spend a week here.

We arrived and were greeted by our hosts who were so inviting, friendly, and helpful. The location is just as described. The RV is in great condition, very clean and cozy, and the setting is peaceful and quiet - exactly what we wanted. We really enjoyed evenings in the hot tub looking at the stars!! The location made it easy to get to all the local sites like Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Black Hills Playhouse, etc. Restaurants are very close by too. At check out, our hosts saw us off and spotted my phone charger back in the RV and ran to give it to me, which I would have left behind otherwise. So helpful! Overall, great experience and we hope to stay here again when we are in town.

I was hesitant to stay in a camper, but my 10 year old son really wanted to try it. I was nervous about the shower and bathroom situation specifically. After staying 3 nights here I can say I would definitely "glamp" again! My kids loved it, it was nice and quiet and the hot tub was nice after a long day. The hosts were great showing us around and how to use everything in the camper and were easy to get in touch with if we needed anything (which we didn't, they thought of everything). Thanks for a great few days in the Black Hills!

As we went sightseeing, we kept saying how this campsite was completely unique in the amount of space and privacy you get. This was our introduction to camping for our 2 young children. The owners have thought of every minor detail you could possibly want. Ending each day with a campfire, hot tub soak, sunset, and stars was lovely. Staying here added wonderful memories to our vacation!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful property. Outside of the commotion of town, but close enough so everything is at your fingertips. Property managers were so very nice and helpful. There are not enough words to stay how amazing this lil place is!!! You just have to go find out for yourself.

First and foremost Lori and John were amazing to rent from. The property was so centrally located and was easy to get to. The property was so quiet and cozy. There were four of us and it worked great for us. I highly recommend trying this VRBO if you are coming to South Dakota.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Excellent communication, and they clearly take pride in their property. A great place to relax while taking in the sights of this beautiful area. We made sure to enjoy the hot tub and lovely outdoor space in our down time. Would 1000% recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay in Lori and Jon’s camper! It’s so cozy and completely stocked with everything you could need or want. Lori and Jon provided great information about the area, and were fun to chat with. The hot tub was the perfect space to relax after a long day exploring, and we slept amazing. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

This stay was amazing! Perfect location to be close to all the places we wanted to visit in the Black Hills. Our hosts were fantastic - very welcoming, informative, and helpful. Lodging was fantastic, located on their lot, but among the trees and right next to a golf course. The amenities were excellent - plenty of room for the two of us. We had everything we needed to be more than comfortable! Glamping at it's finest, and much more private (and affordable) than staying in a hotel or resort - we had our own yard, deck, hot tub, grill, firepit, and hammock! Right on the edge of Custer, SD - minutes away from great food, groceries, gas, etc, but still felt like we were out in the trees by ourselves. If/when we come back the the Black Hills, this will be our 1st choice to stay again!

First of all Lori and Jon are such wonderful people! We truly enjoyed getting to visit with them. The property and RV was perfect! It’s such a cozy and comfy setting. After riding trails for 2 days the hot tub felt amazing! And being right on a golf course was a fun surprise that we enjoyed. The wildlife on the course was so fun to watch. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to be close to the Black Hills tourist treasures, but yet looking for a relax place to lay your head at the end of the day. And yes, the bed was SO comfy! We will be back!
