Guests highly praised the spaciousness, amenities, and tranquility of the property. The large kitchen, outdoor decks, hot tub, and comfortable beds were particularly delightful. The owners were attentive and provided excellent recommendations, making the stay exceptional.

We found this lovely home in a tranquil setting perfect for our family getaway.

We spent four days at Hacienda Pinon and enjoyed our stay. The home is quite large and authentically Taos with the thick adobe walls and Spanish accents. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook meals and entertain. Roy was responsive although we did not need much. We spent a lot of time on the large deck and grilled 3 of the 4 nights. The home is near other properties but we still had a strong sense of privacy. We will definitely consider this property when we return to Taos in the future.

Stayed with friends for long weekend. Loved the property, the porches had lots of outdoor seating- tons of hummingbirds. We were close to town

This is a great house- lots of room to spread out, very clean and Roy, the owner, was very responsive and helpful regarding some minor maintenance. The location is great- it feels secluded yet is a quick 10 minute drive to Taos plaza and about 35 minutes to the ski area. We’ve stayed here twice and will stay again.

Cute home and lovely fenced in property, which was great for our dog. Home was clean, easy to access, and the kitchen, hot tub, and fireplaces were the best parts of the stay. Tucked away so nice and quiet in the evening.

Incredible place with excellent outdoor spaces, views, secluded but very convenient to town. We loved cooking big New Mexican dinners in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoying the autumn sunsets as we ate too much green chile at the big patio table outside. Beds were comfy, neighborhood was quiet at night except for some barking dogs and coyotes, and showers had plentiful hot water. Hope to return again sometime!

Convenient location close to town, but felt far removed from everything which is just what we were looking for. Property was clean and well furnished, the kitchen was able to support having people stay in all the bedrooms, but you could tell it had seen a lot of use over the years and could do with some attention. Mattresses were comfortable, but well worn. Some of the plumbing fixtures were loose or didn't operate as expected. Nothing that significantly impacted our stay but just were slightly off. I hope that the owner makes some repairs improvements because this is a delightful property that worked really well for our group. We'll keep this property on our radar for future group trips! Thanks!!

The owner is lovely and the home is great for a large group. Sadly, the place needs TLC. A thorough cleaning would be helpful. There are broken mini blinds-slats missing, stained carpets, porches in need of sweeping and painting, kitchen cabinets peeling and filled with all sorts of things. The grounds are unkept and could use some improvement. - the front entry was not tidy making for a disappointing welcome. The house COULD be a real showstopper.
We did not mind the winding roads to the house because the location is terrific but be prepared for some unattractive properties along the way. The owner is very personable and helpful. Overall, we had a terrific trip but might not repeat due to the need for maintenance.

We had a great time staying at this property. The home was quite a bit larger than it seemed in the photos. Our kids enjoyed exploring the property, pups too! We appreciated the hot tub and soaking tub and the grandparents loved the porch. Perfect for all ages!

It was a perfect location for our girls trip! Plenty of comfortable bedrooms, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Everything we needed. Secluded, private and not far from town. We loved it and we will be back!

Spacious home with fabulous kitchen, two large living areas. 4 bedrooms, hot tub, amazing decks with views. Dog friendly. Stayed cool even in extreme heat. What more could you want?

It was a bit of a maze to find the property, but after navigating our way once, it was fine. My husband and I spent mornings and evenings sitting out on the various porches / patios the house had. We even used the grill. It was a 2 mile drive to the plaza which was convenient. There was plenty of space for our family to spend out.

The house was much bigger than we expected and beautifully equipped with every comfort our family could want. We loved our stay!

Lovely, comfortable and spacious Taos Hacienda that provides respite for guests while only moments from Taos restaurants, shops and museums. Surrounded by wonderful decks and sitting areas to enjoy the blue skies and nature, our group loved this home and can't wait to stay again!

Beautiful property, exactly as described. There was plenty of room for our 7-person group. The host was responsive and very easy to work with. We hope to come again next year.

This listing first caught our attention with the fact that it has six individual beds and three large bathrooms with lots of counter space, making it perfect for 6 friends all flying in for a wedding. It was a wonderful gathering place for us all to visit with each other without feeling crowded in any way. And the linen closet is packed with plenty of towels! The view from the porch is gorgeous and I enjoyed taking my coffee out there every morning. It feels very out of the way while still being just a short drive from the Plaza and only about 10 minutes away from the Pueblo. So conveniently placed! I will pass on the foreknowledge that the road in the neighborhood is a single lane gravel road and you will need to pull into a handy driveway to let cars pass or back up down the road until you find a place to pull over, so you might want to swap seats with any nervous drivers the first time you navigate the neighborhood. But don't let this keep you from missing out on this great vacation home!

Husband and I stayed last week and the property and weather were both fantastic. House was a bit large for just two of us, but worth it to stay out of town and have the beautiful views. Loved that the owner had firewood on-site to use the indoor fireplaces. The kitchen and living space are incredible, especially if you have larger groups. We had such a nice time cooking each morning to start our day before venturing into town or over to Red River and Taos Ski Valley. Both make for beautiful drives. Also enjoyed filling the bird feeders each morning with the bird seed on site. Great way to draw in the wildlife for watching with morning coffee. Thanks for a great stay!!

We loved our stay in this quiet and secluded home! The outdoor areas were beautiful and very relaxing. Inside, the home is loaded with so much charm and character and the accommodations were perfect. The home feels spacious yet cozy. We really enjoyed the master suite! Two bathrooms (a his and a hers) was the highlight! Ron was an amazing host and was very helpful. Overall, i give this place a 5star stay because it made for a very relaxing, very comfortable place to hang out with our kids. We look forward to returning!

We loved staying at this property. It is close to Taos but feels secluded and private and the hacienda is beautiful inside and out. NOTE: The outside doors are ADA compliant, but my daughter in a wheelchair could not get into the bedrooms or bathrooms with her wheelchair. Since she can do some walking this was not a problem for us, but you might want to inquire about the door width if it might be for you.

I agree with the other reviewers, this place was better than the pictures. The hosts are pros, helpful and flexible. The house was clean and spacious. It was convenient to Taos village and also private. The short drive on the dirt road was easy with my Subaru. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay and felt right at home, loved the hot tub and the surrounding property. Close to town.

The home and property was better than the series of VRBO images presented. The kitchen was fully stocked and served our culinary professional adult children to the extent of their abilities. The location was beautifully mountainous in feel while being only a mile or two to Taos Plaza. Roy was a pleasure to talk to and the process was seamless. Our family had a great time.

We had a great stay at Roy's place, the house is very clean with a wonderful yard and hot tub. The main kitchen/dining/living room is huge and a great place to gather. The neighborhood is quiet and it had great privacy.

Loved the house- lots of room, large stocked kitchen, beautiful grounds- will be returning.

This is a absolutely beautiful property. The home sits on a good piece of land at the edge of town and at the foothills. It is surrounded by greenery and the house itself sits almost at the top of a hill where you can see the town lights below at a distance towards one direction and the big mountains toward the other direction. It has a fantastic feeling of being very isolated and far away from everything so it is extremely peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it is about 8 minutes drive from the center of town...unbelievable! Additionally the expansive land surrounding it is perfect for bringing your dogs if they need space to play or explore. The house is very spacious and lots of windows make this a perfect place to stay and enjoy the views.

Six of us spent a week during Christmas. The house was comfortable and well-heated, with outdoor decks to take in the views and watch the birds (many bird feeders and a generous supply of seed). We did not take advantage of the outdoor jacuzzi. The kitchen is vast and well-equipped, with large windows. It is integrated with dining and seating areas making cooking and social interaction very pleasant. The host kindly set up a Xmas tree and hung lights on the decks and a tree. The location is convenient, five minutes away from the historical center of town and shopping, 15 minutes away from the closest hiking trails, and half an hour away from skiing. While the listing advertised three bathrooms, there are effectively two. Two bathrooms are only accessible from the main bedroom (one of them can also be entered from the deck, but that is not practical during the night or when it is cold.

Amazing home and location that truly has a soul. Thank you for sharing this Heaven with our family.

Beautiful, spacious home close to town but in a secluded hillside neighborhood. Host was helpful and responsive to all our inquiries. Access was a breeze. The hot tub was a welcome bonus. The house had everything we needed and more. If I we were to come back to Taos, we would definitely stay here again.

The host worked with us in extending our dates ahead a month when I had covid. He made it simple to pick the dates available and easy using vrbo to have no financial difficulties.

Great kitchen and living space for a group of people.

Pros:
-The property and house are beautiful and very convenient to town but very quiet and private.
-the house is very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking tools, pots and pans, tons of towels, lots of hangers and other basic items like trash bags, soap, foil, plastic wrap etc.
-the yard is huge and fenced - great for dogs!
-the hot tub was great with an amazing view.
-the property was well maintained and gorgeous with tons of space for family or friends to enjoy shared and private space.
Cons:
- the road to the house is gravel and I was glad we had four wheel drive when it snowed.
- Amazon couldn’t deliver packages to the house, so if you stay for a while and need to order anything, check with the post office to find out how to get a package.
-the yard is fenced, but with some drop offs that could be dangerous for dogs. There are also some wild dogs and coyotes in the area. Please supervise your dogs for their safety.
Overall, this was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. It was truly dog friendly, comfortable and just awesome. Next time we go to Taos, I hope we can stay here again!

This property was just as advertised. What you see on the website is what you get. The location is great. Close enough to town and still private and secluded. One of the better stocked vrbo properties I have ever stayed in. Highly recommended.
10.0
Excellent property a bit off the beaten path. Roy was excellent at communicating and was accommodating based on some last minute needs of my group. Property is as described and does not comes with excessive check-in and check-out rules like you see with many VRBO listings. My family really enjoyed their stay.

We have been visiting Taos nearly every year since 2012. This home was perfect for us. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. We only used half of the house! It would be perfect for a larger family or group of friends. We have a few special things we look for in a vacation stay and this place met all our needs and then some. My wife uses a walker and sometimes a wheelchair. The entire home is completely ADA accessible. The his/hers master bathrooms were perfect. That is hard to find.
Our second is a fenced yard for our two happy Golden Retrievers. The entire property is fenced and it’s huge. A beautiful landscape of NM all to ourselves.
As a Chef, I look for a well-stocked kitchen. I had everything I needed and it was all high quality. Great knives!
The location is close to the heart of the square but completely remote. We enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders and the amazing sunsets. We were looking for relaxation more than adventure and found this perfect place. We will be back and hope to stay here again & again.

This is a large house and would be perfect for large family gatherings. We enjoyed the house and it was comfortable. Blinds in master bedroom did not close they are broke and the hot tub was not fully functional but other than that all was well.

Great house
The house was exactly what is described on VRBO. Very quiet area and the front porch with those views are amazing! Roy was quick to respond when I had a question. The hot tub jets can’t be fixed but the kids enjoyed it any way. Will recommend it to people and will stay again!!
