About this house rental
Come enjoy this home that combines the charm of the 19th century with the conveniences of the 21st. The first floor features a large living room, library, dining room, bathroom and a huge kitchen/family room with a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped to allow for cooking holiday meals for many, or romantic meals for two. Upstairs there are four bedrooms: a very large master suite with en suite bath and ample closets, one bedroom with a single twin bed, one bedroom with a pair of twin beds (both share a hallway bathroom), and a bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bath. All beds have high quality 100% cotton sheets and down comforters and pillows. There is also a laundry room on the second floor. The attic has been converted into one large playroom with a very large flat screen tv and comfortable seating for watching movies. The house has central air conditioning, cable television and wireless internet. There is a large garden with established perennial beds, a climbing frame, teak garden chairs and a grill. There is off street parking for several cars.
The house is located one block from the Woodstock Village Green, very easy walking distance to all the town's restaurants, shops and cultural attractions including the Pentangle Arts Center, the town library and the town recreational center that features two outdoor swimming pools, a basketball court and an indoor fitness center that is open to the public for a very reasonable fee. The Woodstock Inn is a five minute walk from the house across the Village Green. In the summer the Village Green hosts a weekly farmers' market and concerts. The five acre Faulkner Park is at the end of the street. The park serves as a trail head for the hiking trails of Mount Tom, a 500 acre preserved forest. You can also connect from there to the Appalachian Trail for longer, more ambitious hikes.

This home is lovely and very spacious. The location is perfect for walking into the village. The kitchen is well equipped. We had no way to get in touch with the property manager. We had no way to get rid of garbage- no cans for recycling or food waste . Otherwise house was perfect and we loved being there

Our family of four had a wonderful week at this property. The photos don't fully convey how large and comfortable the house it. And the location is perfect. We'd happily return.

It worked really well for us. The house and location were great. We hope, at our next big family gathering, to come back.

Unbeatable location on the other side of the historic covered bridge in town. Close to hiking trails for Mt Tom as well. Home was well appointed & clean, great amenities. Perfect for families.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Woodstock home. The charming garden was in full bloom during our visit, an extra treat. The central location can't be beat and we had fun walking to town and exploring the adjacent trails. The owners were wonderfully responsive and accommodating.

The house was even better than the pictures portrayed, had wonderful spaces for our family and was perfectly located on a quiet street, yet only one block from the Green and shops!

We had such a wonderful time in Woodstock- the location was amazing. A beautiful quiet street, with a tranquil backyard and just a short walk to beautiful hiking trails at Faulkner Park. Also a very short walk to all that downtown Woodstock has to offer. The house is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated and provided more than enough room for my family and inlaws. We can't wait to go back.

13 Mountain was perfect! We had a wonderful month. The house is lovely. We really enjoyed the large kitchen where we spent the most time.
Mt Tom was our destination walk. One of us sat on a bench and marveled at the trees; the other climbed the mountain.

We had a perfect stay at the house in Woodstock. It was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and well stocked. The communication with Sophia was seamless and she responded promptly to our questions. When I needed something, the handyman took care of my request within 24 hours. It felt like a house that was lived in and loved by their family, which was really nice.
