We were accommodated reasonably.

Over two miles of dirt road that leads to the Bear Lake Rock Pit, the road continues on up the mountain to the top with an excellent view of the lake, but you cannot see the house until after passing the rock pit/quarry. No HVAC except in to bedrooms.

We all enjoyed our stay. There was plenty for all to do and the adults loved not having to worry about the noise the kids made because we were so far away from any neighbors yet it was just a short drive to the beach.

We absolutely loved this house! It is on top of a little mountain overlooking bear lake. The home was wonderful and the management team was super responsive. The home was perfect for our large group and so close to the beach at bear lake. We had a so much fun and we will definitely be back. You won’t be disappointed with this house!

We had our family reunion at Bear Lake—just under 40 of us. The property worked out extremely well. Lots of space, a great view, and solitude for days. We didn't have to worry about anyone being annoyed with us for how noisy we all were. Be advised - there is only A/C in the top two bedrooms, and it can get warm at night if you can't get a breeze. We did have a leak in the roof on the last day, but it didn't damper our spirits though it did interrupt the festivities until we got it under control. Who knew we could get rain in August!

There were mice in the master bedroom. Barbeque grill had to be cleaned before we could use it. The fan in the living room didn't work and the cabin got pretty hot at times. There were a few things that could have been cleaned a little better. I reported these things and a few other small things to Kaci and she was very understanding and indicated she would take care of it. I enjoyed visiting with her. She was very kind and easy to talk and explain our concerns to. Overall everything went well and we had a good stay.

The place has plenty of space! We loved having the mountain to ourselves. It was about a 20 minute hike down to the water for our polar plunge. Breathtaking views in all directions. Make sure to bring bug spray because we were swarmed with mosquitos. We had a great time and highly recommend this place!

The setup of the house was very fun for our group but there were some issues with cleanliness. The dish washer was full of mold, I think it probably wasn’t used throughout the cold winter months and was moist inside causing the problem. There was used bars of soap left in two different showers and also a swimsuit. The showers were definitely not cleaned before we arrived. There was also hair in a number of bathroom drawers that just didn’t get wiped down. The manager was kind when we told her of the issues and agreed that there were some issues that should be addressed but when we reached out to the owner she seemed very defensive and not really all that nice. She did send the manager to the house to put some cleaner in the dishwasher and let it run a cycle thinking that should take care of the problem but it didn’t, the problem was much bigger. They did remove the used bars of soap and replaced them with some body wash. The owner told us she could send someone to wipe out drawers if we wanted to pay for it. She did offer to find another place for us to stay if we were truly not happy. With a big group that was already unpacked it would have been another challenge. We stayed we had a good time but was disappointed in some of the issues.

This house was great for our family reunion. We loved the view and we had a blast playing games in the yard. It was a great place to host our large group.

The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s very functional and has everything you need for a great time. However, it was really dirty. The cleaning company is not doing their job. There were things that hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time and other things that should have been noticed even if it was just from the last renter. Trash from other guests were left in drawers and under beds and couches. I don’t think they had swept or vacuumed. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard and we honestly questioned if the sheets were clean. I don’t blame the owner of the property but want them to know that the cleaning company they are paying is doing a very poor job.

Nice spacious house with amazing views! We loved the wide open kitchen and plenty of dining seating. The stars were so bright and beautiful at night. Other than a couple of configurations that weren’t ideal and an inoperative half bath on the main floor, we loved it and would heartily recommend to others!

This is our family's second year doing a Christmas Gift Get Away instead of my husband and I giving them presents for Christmas! We have 7 married children and 22 grandchildren! And they all love it! Your place was very nice...Spectacular view! Love the backyard area, brilliant idea using artificial turf.

This is our second time up there. We had 30 people in and out during our stay. Tons of room so your not on top of each other. Beautiful view of Bear Lake. Love that we don’t have to worry about neighbors when your outside playing games and having fun. They have taking great care us both times we have been there!

Eagles at the Eagles Nest
This is the first time we have rented a home thru VRBO. We chose this property because of it's size and ability to sleep 40 people - we had 36. We were delighted with the house itself -- really cool with lots of room for sleeping and hanging out. Our grandchildren really liked the balcony on 3rd floor, and the peek hole in stairs wall, as well as the fun backyard. The 360 view was spectacular -- lake to mountains -- awesome sunsets, and star gazing. We also had the good luck to see 2 eagles soaring above us one day.
We were a little concerned that it has no AC (except for the 3rd floor bedrooms) and even though the highs during our stay were in low 90's, with the use of fans, we were fine.
In short, we highly recommend this property!

Family Reunion
The floor plan was great. The perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The number of tables and chairs for eating was also great. However, the VRBO property description lists a Hot Tub (which over the years has been a deal breaker) but NO HOT TUB. The 8,000 ft. home has air conditioners in the 2 upstairs bedrooms ( which didn't work) and nowhere else in the home. We tried opening up as many windows as possible (it was 85 to 90 degrees on the days that we were there), but most of them didn't have screens. So we either cooked or were deluged by mosquitoes and flies. So we cooked. We loved the seclusion and location of the home, but no towels in the kitchen, No large bags for garbage. One roll of paper towels in the kitchen. etc. All in all was very disappointing, but the price was nice!

Loved it!
Loved this house! Away from everyone. The view was amazing! Perfect for our large family! 2 min from beach! Loved it! Playing bad mitten barefoot on the turf was so fun and so soft! Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again. Tawni was so great and quick to help with any questions we had

Unbeatable location
The property really does sit at an amazing location. A bit odd at first getting there but once you are there its pretty amazing. This was the best part of the stay. I think the home overall is nice, but definitely needs some TLC. For example, the doors and windows were clouded (hard to see through) and difficult to open. Also the appliances/plumbing are probably due for some updates. Once that happens this place will be at the top of the list. Overall we enjoyed the views and privacy

Perfect sanctuary for fun and rest
We loved the seclusion and privacy of this property. It is the most kid friendly place we have stayed in. We loved how all the bedrooms had their own private bath. We made so many wonderful memories while we were here. We will be back!

Beautiful view/Large house
This was a very beautiful house with an amazing view of the lake. Very clean inside. We especially liked how many bathrooms there were for our large group of 32. Kitchen was well stocked and we loved how much seating there was. There were lots of fun activities for the kids/teens. The only problems we had were there were no sheets for the futons ( that is disclosed on the listing but would be nice to have if you list sleeping for 40 available). Also, if the outdoor garbage is full, you have to drive the trash down the hill to the rest area. This hill sits up on top of a hill with no other houses nearby so it is a bit of a drive up the dirt roads. Host was very responsive to my texts and great to work with.

family fun place
It has a great view and the children had fun playing on the turf. They loved roasting marshmallows and watching a movie under the stars.

This beautiful stay has a few updates needed but did not stop us from enjoying the view and the peac
The house is a bit more like fits 20 comfortably and then the others get the pick of second best. The communication was 2nd to none. We appreciated that!

Family get away
We had a great time at bear lake in this home . The home was plenty big for our family of 25. The view is incredible and you can see the lake from nearly every bedroom. Tawni is great to work with and is quick to answer questions . The only thing that was a little hard is there is only air conditioning in the top 2 bedrooms . I don’t think this is normally a problem but we were there when it was 90 degrees plus outside . They had lots of fans and things cooled down great over night when we left windows open and the breeze flowed . I would stay at this home again .

This place was clean and had beautiful views of Bear Lake. It is also secluded with no neighbors. Our family of 30 people had a great experience.

Renting this was ideal and just about every way.

Great View
Overall we had a great stay. The view is breathtaking. It is a little out of the way but we didn’t go into town much and wanted just to spend time as a family. All the things needed for cooking were there. Some of the other fun things could be replaced as they are showing signs of wear. But has plenty of room to spread out and have fun.

King of the mountain family reunion
The size and scope of the house and property was amazing. The views just can’t be beat with along with the privacy. Lots to offer For all ages. We were disappointed with how dirty and grubby the the kitchen, bathrooms and even some of the bedrooms were. The fridge hadn’t even been wiped out from previous occupant and had chicken juice in the bottom drawer. The property is fun but was in need of some upkeep. The maintenance is not being maintained. Decks and stucco were not in good shape. There was water damage from the sky lights. A coating of dust seems to be over everything.

Beautiful views, secluded yet close to everything
You really are the King of the Mountain! You sit above Bear Lake and the views are incredible! The Lake to the east and the mountains all around make for a awesome atmosphere. Our family of 35 had plenty of room to sleep and were never bored. The owner provides more than enough activities to keep the kids busy and they loved it! We can get loud at times, you are secluded enough that you can make all the noise you want and dont have to worry about bothering others, but you are also close to the beach, Garden city, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, boating, 4 wheel trails. This location is like the perfect combination of being secluded but near just about everything! The entire family agreed that we would definitely stay again if ever back in Bear Lake. Tawni was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We loved our stay at This location and in Bear Lake!
