Rigtig hyggeligt hus og god beliggenhed tæt på den hyggelige gamle by.

Lovely quirky fisherman's cottage situated in the Old Town. It has been decorated really well, keeping lots of the original features. The hosts really have thought of everything, the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. All the TVs are Smart TVs with great reception. Hosts had left a bottle of wine and crisps on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The stairs up to the bedrooms and bathroom are very narrow but it wasn't a problem for us. There's a small patio area at the rear of the property which was lovely to sit in of a morning. The neighbours we saw were very friendly and the location is very quiet and peaceful. It's a short walk to local pubs, restaurants and shops.
We didn't have any issues and found everything to our satisfaction.

The cottage was ideal - two bedrooms (one double, one twin), within walking distance of the old town and the beach. Public car parking was available at the bottom of the hill.

Great location, super cute and authentic. Very friendly neighbours
Nothing really. It's a small house with small rooms but it's fully equipped with a nice little garden.
The bed in the main bedroom is a bit short if you are tall 😆

The hosts emailed in advance to provide helpful details about the property and getting access. The property itself is really charming and is set over three floors. I stayed in the main bedroom and it was very clean and bed was comfortable. The house is in a great part of town and the historic Quarter in a short stroll away. My family and I had a lovely stay.
That we only had two nights there!

Location in old town. Quirky fisherman's cottage. Owner left wine, milk and crisps which was greatly appreciated.
Cold at night and draughty. No information on how to use appliances. Gas cooker, not used as did not know how to work. Not cooked with gas before. Oven was not clean anyway. Looked like someone had cooked a pizza. Duvets thin and not very warm. Some of the pillows had no protectors on and were stained.

Great location as just a 15 minute walk to my son's house by the station.

The cottage was really quaint beautifully kept with everything that we needed and more! It was in a very handy location for town the old town. Lots of pubs and cafés nearby and close enough to walk into the new town centre and for the beach and to the liftTo the top of the cliff. All in all a wonderful few days in a really comfy cosy cottage.
Although it was easy to collect the key from the key box the lock was just a bit difficult to usePerhaps a new lock might be the answer? Otherwise there was nothing to dislike we couldn’t fault it.

Great location in Hasting Old Town. Close to some excellent restaurants and pubs. Right next to the Country Park for walking (once you've climbed the very steep steps as the lift was out of action).
Parking is tricky although there is a good council one 5 minutes away. Due to Covid-19 the Tourist Information office was closed when we arrived and we were unable to get a weekly season ticket.
