Wow!!
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are wonderful. We stayed for our wedding night and the effort they went to for us was incredible! We had a free upgrade and champagne on arrival with little extras in the room for us too! Thank you so much.
In addition, the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was spotless and parking is onsite with extra close by. It is right in the heart of Stratford upon Avon but the rooms were quiet and comfortable.
I like a harder pillow but had plenty on the bed to use. No other complaints at all.

It’s a great location and I like some of the design elements
The curtains had had an accident and wouldn’t quite shut. Kept me awake.

Check in staff were very helpful, the location was ideal and parking was very close to the entrance.
We only had one set of towels in the room. Breakfast was good quality but relatively expensive.

Really lovely and stylish boutique hotel. One of the originals. Spacious room, elegant decorations, comfortable bed, Loved the heated floor in the bathroom!
Very friendly staff and easy check-in - there is drop-off parking. Brilliant location within walking distance of the main Stratford attractions, including the theatre. Lots of pubs and cafes nearby if you don't want to pay hotel prices.
I suspect we got a good winter break rate but I certainly book again if it was affordable.
Not much - one of the light switches was faulty but reception said they would get it sorted

Room and bed quality
There was a mistake with the booking by the hotel so our friends who we were meeting did not get the level of room I had booked for them .
Whilst there was a small compensation given when we looked online we saw they both rooms could have been booked on that day at a lower price than we paid

Confortable, high quality room. Good location and lots of parking in local NCP. We walked to all the sights. Delicious breakfast outside in the courtyard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Amazing room, friendly staff. Hotel is a great balance of original and old features nicely balanced with modern contemporary design in the reception, bar and dining areas. Great location and the breakfast was good too.

A new-ish hotel in the centre of Stratford finished to a very high standard. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed including a coffee maker and tea facilities. The decoration and finish was all of a high quality. Breakfast was very good and plentiful with a wide choice of both cold and hot foods. The location in the centre of Stratford was ideal for a visit to the RSC which was just what we wanted.
We couldn't find anything we didn't like!

lovely hotel with helpful friendly staff. We had our dog with us which was no problem although he wasn’t allowed in the main restaurant we ate in the bar area which was perfectly adequate.

Lovely welcome, convenient location, great room, genuinely interested and caring service. Especially mention Mary.
Dinner was pleasant but both myself and guest reported over salting of our main course. We did not receive any acknowledgment of this; hoping at least that the chef might come out as there were only two other tables being served. Waitress did offer replacement and in hind sight we should have accepted the offer as I experienced discomfort during the night. I would not recommend the restaurant for dinner, poor choice and bad presentation

Well kept and cosy hotel
Pillows too soft in room, need a choice e of firmer pillows
Staff a bit all over the place, not tending to customers in real time

Lovely hotel, great food, amazing room in the perfect location. Room was well stocked with toiletries and nice touches like chocolates and coffee pods. Staff were super friendly and happy to help with any requests eg, we forgot our toothbrushes, reception arranged to have some left in our room while we were out.
The bed was a bit soft.

Our waitress at breakfast, Mary, was bright, cheerful, was full of positive energy. She is a real asset to the hotel.
Pressure in the shower could be a bit stronger.
