A pleasant stay in a good location and with a friendly host

We received a warm welcome on arrival from the host. Our room was a good size with a small TV and tea/coffee facilities. The en-suite had a good sized shower and very nice toiletries. The breakfast was very good as was the service.

This guest house is on a busy road so we were aware of traffic noise until it died down late in the evening. I suppose this is a small penalty to pay for being in a good location, it being only a 10-15 minute walk from the RSC theatre.

Lovely guest house

The hosts were very friendly, the bedroom and dining room were very clean and the food was really nice. It was close to town centre and parking on site.

Amazing Guest House

We wanted a couple of days away in a relaxed place and we found it, thank you to our host.

Location was great, 10 minutes walk to centre of town. Breakfast was very good, host was lovely and helpful, typical B & B, welcoming and lovely host.

Nothing comes to mind but if I had to say something, then parking is tight but not a criticism.

Overall, Green Haven met my needs, with one exception - I would like to have slept better.

Although a bit further than other guest houses from the town centre and the RSC, they are within reasonably easy walking distance. My single room and ensuite facilities were a good size and, being at the side, the room was quieter than if it had been at the front. The whole interior of Green Haven had a very smart appearance, and it seemed to be very clean. The breakfast was good, and the off-road parking was adequate. I received the impresssion that Green Haven is very efficiently run. Although I have previously stayed a lot elsewhere in Stratford, this was my first stay at this guest house and I would certainly consider staying here again.

Unfortunately, the bed in my single room was too narrow, so I was not sufficiently comfortable to sleep well.

Excellent and great location and excellent service, well done.

Excellent location, just a 10 min walk into town and all the sites. The owner was very helpfull and always smiling. Breakfast will set you up for the day and eggs cooked to your liking. I would book there again.

Not sure what to say on faults. I'm sure some will find fault , but for all we had and the location it was perfect.

Lovely hosts, perfect stay.

Lovely welcome. Green Haven is spotlessly clean and the room and en-suite had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and a lovely cooked breakfast. Only five to ten minutes walk from the centre. Would stay again.

The wonderful stay made our trip beyond joyful!

The host keeps the property and rooms in pristine clean condition. The breakfast was freshly cooked by the host at an exceptional level. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Perfect!

Firstly our arrival was late, outside the required checking in time. I contacted Green Haven Guest house and I received a quick response from our host Lucy saying that she would await our arrival, and it wasn't a problem. Our whole stay was exceptional from start to finish. We'd never stayed in a guest house before, however found everything to our satisfaction and more. The Green haven guest house was immaculately clean, not that we were out to loom for cleanliness but found it extremely difficult to notice any faults throughout. Our room which was a triple room, was beautiful and very much thought out. Our 24 year old son had his own private space to relax away from his nagging parents lol Breakfast was delicious, compliments to the chef on delivering a tasty full breakfast, and the flow of tea, coffee and toast was plentiful. Lucy our host was an absolute delight, accommodating our every need during our 3 night break. Parking was available, and just a short walking distance to the local town, bars and restaurants.

We would certainly recommend this guest house to our friends and family, could not be bettered.

Breakfast was top draw, and to a high standard, great service, nothing too much trouble. And everything was so very clean. The bacon was exceptional , and the black pudding was superb. We were always greeted with a smile which helps set your day .

I could not find a fault at all, the whole guest was spotlessly clean, all the fine details were there, spotless cups and glasses were supplied in the room with tea, coffee, and sealed biscuits supplied.

Friendly and helpful welcome. Spotless room with good use of the space. Good breakfast. Excellent location with free parking, within easy walking distance of Stratford centre and the theatre.

Superb

The host here is absolutely lovely. She was attentive without getting in the way. We arrived early but our room was ready. Everything was very clean. Breakfast (cold and hot choices) was very tasty. The centre of Stratford is only a ten minute walk from the property. Despite being on a reasonably busy road we were not disturbed by traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again.
