Very clean and comfortable more up to date from last visits.
Bar service very slow and should revert back to table service in lounge as it was before. Having to keep queuing at bar was a pain to be honest.

Parking poor no disabled parking available should be allocated on booking had to park at the back of the hotel long work to reception this was after driving around 3 to 4 times. We found the room was very warm and had to use the air-conditioning to cool it down. We found it strange that a fairly modern building has only the two lifts.

Bright, fresh, spacious and friendly
Nothing really

Extremely pleased with our choice of hotel never having been before and would
Definitely recommend it to friends. Considering it had just re opened the staff were excellent and our room was excellent.
Maybe extra staff in the dining room would be helpful as sometimes we had to ask two people for the same thing but as the hotel has just re opened we made allowances for this.

Location was great. Reception and concierge staff Ben, on arrival very good.
Most uncomfortable pillows, shower was very weak.
Air conditioning not great
Restaurant was very very slow, waited ages for our meal, heard other diners complaining, didnt seem organised. Bar waiting staff seemed a bit clueless apart Laraine who was really good.

it is the perfect location to explore the local area and go to the theatre. I have stayed here before and am always impressed by the friendly and helpful staff.
The only thing that would have made it better would be if the path across the grass to the main road had some lights dotted along the path.

Great riverside position in easy walking distance to town and theatres. Clean and looked good inside.
A constant humming noise filled the room all night. Could not locate source. Long queue to check in at 4pm and seemed a lengthy process.

It has a nice location by the river; easy walk to the theatre.
The windows (as they are in most rooms) have been screwed shut. Fresh air is therefore impossible and the only option is a noisy, wasteful air-con system; a shocking waste of energy. After raising this we were moved to a smaller room where the cistern took 15 minutes to fill which required us to fill a waste bucket with water ‘just in case’. Superficially, the decor looks OK but closer inspection shows how tatty it has become. Sad really. We’ve used this hotel for 10 years but never again.

We had an exceptional stay at the Crown Plaza. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially regarding my husband's disability. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the shower was very easy to use and suitable for my husband as it was walk-in. Everything was very clean. The restaurant was very good and again staff were extremely helpful both for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is very central to the middle of Stratford and very convenient.
It is expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. It was a shame that the spa and swimming pool were closed but this was because of the recent flooding so could not be helped. The restaurant was a little chilly in the evenings. It would be nice to have more than one arm chair in the room as it was spacious enough.

Location , breakfast and leisure facilities
Called reception for glasses to drink water with 2 times. Had to go to the bar myself as didn’t arrive.
8.0
The location next to the river and near the centre of Stratford made for a fabulous place to stay overall, with shops, bars, and the theatre all in close proximity. We were able to check in early, which is always nice, and the food at breakfast was suitably fresh, tasty and satisfied all morning eating needs!! The facilities were decent, with a reasonable gym, and wet area, although the pool was not very conducive to any form of swim training, with its size, and shape. The room was perfectly fine, ample size, with limited noise distractions and that was about it… nice, worth a 24-hour stay, mostly great.
The staff were a bit disappointing, with aggressive tones at check-in, unhelpful and lacking any sort of energy or engagement in the gym, and inadequate in the dining area, forgetting orders.
The room was a bit musty, which could have been the time of year, but also felt like it needed a bit of freshness throughout.
