Really good size property in the heart of Stratford upon avon town centre, perfect location for a visit to Stratford. 2 bathrooms which was good for a family of 6.
The hosts were awful and not at all helpful or considerate. No Central heating as we couldn't get it to work and in November was cold. Tried to call hosts but didn't pick up or reply to any of the telephone calls. Had problems with hot water due to heating tripping out. In the end had to turn off the Central heating to get hot water. TV not connected to an aerial. Firestick provided so managed to get some TV on the evening but no remote to navigate Firestick channels, was not advised we should have taken our own firestick until we were already there. Some noise but as expected in the town centre. If you want a quiet stay, don't stay here. No locks on bathroom doors, towels ok but could have been better a bit small. Overall was cold and not comfortable and the portable heaters provided were not sufficient. Property has so much potential but poor hosts, lack of attention. Have stayed in better properties and would not recommend.

The location is fantastic.
DIRTY, in need of a great deal of maintenance, insufficient crockery (most chipped) and glassware in kitchen, parking not as described (drove round and round to find space on allocated streets not close to apartment), microwave had dinner plate instead of original glass plate, bathrooms mouldy, generally poor quality, TV not work, no WiFi password or any other info given, toilet flush button broken, extractors not work, smoke detector in kitchen removed, bedroom smelt of smoke, electricity kept tripping, rubbish in draws from previous guests, excessive condensation, noisy bedrooms due to old/badly fitted windows, single beds very uncomfortable with squeaky metal frames, needs lots of TLC

The property was, as described, central. It was right in the middle of Stratford and close to all shops, restaurants and about 75m from Shakespeare's birthplace. The host organised a parking pass so we could park in any bays that were within 0.8 miles of the property but we always got a spec within 0.2 miles which was about the minimum distance you could park. We were able to fully explore the area and also able to go back and drop off everything between shopping and visiting areas of interest so we didnt have to carry things around.
We didn't use the kitchen but there was an oven and hob and a fridge freezer. There were only 2 plates we could find but most of my family had stayed at home due to our dog being unwell so it didn't really matter.
There were 2 bathrooms which was really good as it meant we could both shower and get ready quickly. The apartment was really spacious with an open plan kitchen/diner/living space and 3 good sized bedrooms. There was also a sofa bed in one of the rooms and i think the sofa's in the living area could have folded flat although there were only 2 of us staying so we didnt need to use these.
Nothing that we didn't like was the hosts fault and likely couldn't have been predicted. Its more to let travellers know what to expect.
We had arranged to arrive between 3 and 4pm. When we got there, the cleaner was still in the property as the previous guests had not vacated on time. She was really friendly and allowed us to leave our bags and use the toilet but we then had to go back out for an hour while she finished cleaning.
The day we arrived, the road was closed to a travelling fair. That meant there were burger vans right outside with noisy generators and a greasy smell coming in as the windows had been left slightly open. We closed them but there was still a loud buzzing from the generators. We went to the theatre that evening and when we returned the fair was packed up and leaving. This meant they were rolling past the windows through the night until around 4am when the street sweeper came to clean up and down the road repeatedly. It was incredibly noisy and made it very difficult to sleep.
The next night, we had expected a quieter evening, however while we were out, there was a short power cut (like off and on in less than a second). We then returned home and there was a further short power cut which then resulted in the alarms on the shops going off. As it was late at night, these continued to sound for a prolonged time and past when we wanted to go to bed.
Whilst we had a great time and really enjoyed the location, its worth being aware that you are right in the centre of Stratford and to expect it to be noisy overnight.

Excellent location. Great size and layout. Very nice living room and kitchen.
Parking was not near the property and no information was given by the hosts in advance. Arrival was therefore very stressful as this had to be sorted once we got there and several journeys made to take bags from car to apartment.
The apartment is in a fantastic location, but single glazing in the bedroom meant that there was a lot of noise from the road and we therefore had very disturbed sleep on both nights.

Central location, lovely property
No wifi

Location great. Size of rooms good. Close to park and ride bus drop off and pick up. Beds comfortable and showers good. Great for 2-3 nights stay
Seemed shame that some minor things brought the accommodation down- not enough mugs or glasses ( we were 5 adults ), no locks on bathrooms, tv was there but set up for private account so couldn't work out how to use, no radio. Needs investing in double glazing for the bedrooms.

100% recommend and would definitely stay again.

The flat is in a good location.
The boiler kept tripping meaning there was no heating and only luke warm water. The flat was 13 degrees throughout. The hosts were uncontactable and still have been following the stay. Booking.com have not been helpful in rectifying this issue.
The flat needs a clean and the windows are full of mould. Avoid!

Location
Heating - failed and had to be reset approximately 30 times! Kept tripping power as well.
I wasted a lot of my time having to keep doing this. Noticed another review mentioning heating issue!
Parking Permit failure leading to £140 of fines
Lack of communication from host

Very good location
Problems with the heating (owner was very good and sorted this on our second day)
Beds had thin, lumpy mattresses, not very comfortable. Lots of dust in the bedrooms. Bedside lamps could only be switched off by getting out of bed to unplug them! Grill pan in cooker was dirty with food residue - has to wash it before it could be used. Very few mugs or wine glasses - cutlery and crockery could do with an upgrade. Would be useful to have a coffee table.

The apartment has a terrific location in the middle of the tourist area and close to the theatre. It is very comfortable and spacious with three lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living area and kitchen. The hosts are extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. They left a pint of milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge for us which we appreciated greatly! I can't imagine we'd want to stay anywhere else now we've found this gem.

The apartment is very spacious and in a very central location.
The noise levels from the street. Uncomfortable beds and settees
Parking permit restrictions and parking ticket!

The unit is very well situated and spacious.
Couches in lounge area are very uncomfortable, there are only limited kitchen ware, and the floor to the third bedroom has collapsed to the point that we felt it was dangerous to use that bedroom.

The location was excellent and apt was modern, clean and well decorated. The apt was central to the town. Access/instructions from owner was good. Parking permit fir the nearby road was great.
The bed linen/ pillows were unusable.. stained and dirty. The towels were well worn. The crockery was of poor quality.. chipped and not sufficient quantity for a party of 6. The boiler repeatedly tripped out so at times the apt had no heating or hot water. Not particularly a relaxing stay. Owner did respond and resolve some issues really quickly, but with a small investment in replacement crockery/linen and fixing electrical issue with the boiler, it could be a superb apt.

The location and the property was kept beautiful

Somewhat clean and well-situated in the town center.
Short of hot water and turned-off radiator during whole stay
3.0 / 5.0
Location in town centre, although a little noisy at night.
Spacious accommodation for six people,
Warm apartment.
No parking on sight. Only 1 car parking permit per apartment. Difficult to find free parking or any parking near apartment. .
Access to first floor apartment with limited stair rails.
Kitchen equipment was minimal. When catering for 5people there were limited saucepans, oven dishes, cooking equipment. Limited washing up equipment and t-towels etc..
No wardrobes for twin bed rooms
No bed side table lights in and of the bedrooms.
Just a little more thought with making the apartment comfortable would be well spent.

The property located in a prime location and the Centre of town. We were amazed at the size of it and how slickly clean it was. Spacious and simple yet stylish decor. The host Mike is attentive and helpful. We came with our little girl for a cultural trip in Shakespeare Centre, we loved the visit and really enjoyed talking to the lovely people in town.
It was not as what I didn’t like, it was just something I thought would be fair to mention as a review. I am always a light sleeper. The bedroom windows are really close to the main road, we slept here on Tuesday night so there wasn’t much of the party noise, however the traffic outside was a little something and kept me awake, but it’s such a lovely apartment I suggest you bring your effective earplugs. My 6 year old slept with me in the big bed she didn’t get bothered a bit.
