Lovely stay with a friendly vibe

The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The beds were ultra comfy. Checking in was easy.

It would have been nice for a few more tea bags in the room. The shower looked a little tired but it was clean! X

Great budget accommodation

The hotel was ideally situated with a big carpark bonus being free parking. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Particularly liked the shower in the bathroom it was ideal. The bath towels were large and fluffy, no hand towels provided. All toiletries readily available and a hairdryer

About what you'd expect from a 2-star

Brekky was okay, decent facilities and had a bar. Car park was tight but decently sized which was the main reason for staying (car show weekend). The lad who signed me in was a laugh though, no idea his name but young chap.

Bit grubby, breakfast was plentyful but low-ish quality. All the doors where super loud but to be fair the sound deadening in rooms was enough to mask the big thuds. Bed was about what you expect from a 2-star but there was a dirty used fork crammed down the side lol

Staff not very sociable.. no drink available and location was more than three miles from Lincoln cas

Breakfast was great .. can’t fault the breakfast but staff was unsociable

The bar had no drinks and was waiting for a delivery 🤷‍♀️.. a drink before we went out would have been nice

Convenient, quite well priced , check in staff were very friendly

The double beds were horrendous! So hard and uncomfortable, gave me a bad back! Pillows were no good either. Shower was powerful enough but floor very slippery, could easily slip and hurt yourself.

Parking!!!!!

Everything on the visit was just perfect, great night, excellent breakfast, helpful getting taxis into city centre. Staff very friendly over the weekend.

The £100 parking fine we received! Called Ibis yesterday, apparently there are notices everywhere saying to register the car and we must be going around with our eyes shut - quote!! When I asked the lady for her name following this comment, she said that I didn't need it and promptly put the phone down. Call was made 29/6/24 at 1pm, so Ibis you know who that is! Reception also tell absolutely everyone to use the pin pad, according to said member of staff. Well not us, my husband uses hotels/motels all the time for work and is well aware of parking registration. Admittedly we did not check, but we were not told - if we were why would we choose to ignore. I am sure now that there are plenty of notices but beware, what was a fantastic weekend now has a very sour note to it. REGISTER YOUR CAR!!!!! It would also help if this info was on Booking.com

Very vonvenient for a short stay

Heating system, hot shower with good pressure, large bathroom, hair dryer, iron and board, plug adaptor, helpful staff, free access to tea/coffee dispenser at the reception, online check in, automatic check out, a minute from a good pub with good meals, list of taxi services

Bed creaked when turning over. Walls paper thin. Could hear neighbours. Doors slam. Very uncomfortable pillows.

Would certainly recommend.

Tom and team were so welcoming and excellent hospitality from them and very helpful.

Was a little bit further out than expected. Can't say there was much more to dislike.

Underwhelming and disappointing!

It was unclean, we were both non smokers and we found a. Small cigarette dubbed on the bathroom floor, blood on the carpet. Also rudeness from staff regarding breakfast I had pre paid for but was apparently not on the staff members list who was incredibly rude.

Simple and comfortable stay 😊

Clean and comfortable enough for a one night stay. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Easy walk across the road to a Green King pub with cheap and tasty food.

Pillows were a bit too soft and someone set the fire alarms off at 5am which I know isn’t the hotels fault but not convenient.

Great value! I will be back again!

Nice clean hotel. Plenty of parking. Food available at the hotel, but there’s plenty of food outlets in walking distance. There’s a KFC, Costa and a pub which does a super carvery! Great value for your money.

Ibis Lincoln, good VFM

Let's be honest, the place is tired but it's clean and what makes a huge difference is the excellent attitude of the front of house staff, who think they are working arlt a 5* hotel and aim for service at that level. Jay and John in particular. See you again.

Ibis let's it's self down with the little things. No hook on the bathroom door. No bin in the bedroom Little things that could be easily and cheaply fixed

The location was easy to get to. Tge hotel was near a restaurant for and evening meal. Free carparking. Pet friendly.

The room could do with a little TLC broken plug socket and bedside lights. The bathroom shower leaks over the shower area which makes the floor wet and slippery. Bathroom taps leak if not turned off hard enough leaving it dripping on the side which eventually runs on the floor room 7

It had beds. And a kettle

Room was damp. As was bedding, and our clothes in the morning. Mentioned to staff who weren’t particularly interested. I was offered a complimentary drink. Carpet was so disgusting, sticky Room smelled really strongly of bathroom/toilet cleaning fluids. Bar closed as the payment system was broken. Couldn’t accept cash! Shower suddenly went boiling hot, scalded all down my front!!! My mum was critically ill in hospital, I didn’t have the time or mental energy to be bothering with a crap room

Brilliant place to stay and they love well behaved dogs! Perfect when we had to travel with our pooch

The two guys on reception and bar duty were fabulous, I’m sorry I didn’t get their names. Very friendly, very helpful, an asset to the hotel. Booked as it was a pet friendly hotel as we took our very gentle elderly large “pup” to see relatives and needed a hotel for the night. It was all prefect! Would recommend

I didn't expect much for the price of a budget hotel. But didn't expect a bed in that state

Check in was smooth and parking great

The bed was made up of various pieces of foam and mattress toppers on top of the mattress. The sheets had staining on them and the cups were dirty. The room smelt very musty.

This hotel desperately needs a dose of TLC and maybe some staff who at least appear to care.

The hostile parking notices and only five minutes to unpack and register the car. Made me feel like a criminal. The bathroom desperately needs an upgrade. And hand towels. And somewhere to dry sopping wet bath mat where water had poured on to the floor. Walking barefoot from shower to sink is dangerously slippery. The window catch is becoming detached. Useless computer inputs but no USB charging point
