I like that it is a beach front and with a garden view. The staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast was great. It is an Instagrammable view.
The annex villa is too far from the main area w/ the resto and pool/beach. The room have no drinking water dispenser and no rice cooker. The cooking pots/pans is not really suited for cooking, it burns the food. Kitchen utensils is not complete no can opener etc… Wi-fi is slow and the chairs are not comfortable to sit.

Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. (Shela, Ren, Marj, Meg, Ruby, James)
Buffet breakfast was very good.
Food in the restaurant was superb.
Very nice pool (both of them, one by the beach, one more private with the villas)
Location was spectacular. Beachfront and upon going out, very close to happening places.
some of the villa facilities can be improved. airconditioning was kind of inconsistent, although partly to blame is the island's electricity. The shower drain was a struggle, we had to ask for housekeeping help. overall, the villa can use some updating or renovating.

The location could not be better and the views are incredible.
The pool is nicely kept and the sunbeds were comfortable by the pool.
Most of the staff were very kind and helpful.
The power is consistently turning off and on but it is a small island still recovering from the Typhoon - it was not a massive problem for us.
We had paid to have breakfast included but after trying it one morning we ate elsewhere each morning, the breakfast is not very enjoyable at all and could really use improvement.

I loved the location and the staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful!
We had a standard room so it was cheaper than the actually villas. It was pretty small, we would do a villa next time.

Breakfast was lovely. Buffet style and plentiful with a good choice.
Our room was comfortable and very clean. Well equiped and with a large balcony overlooking the pool/ beach/sea.
The pool was lovely.
Really liked the fact that there was filtered drinking water available with glass bottles in the room that could be refilled.
The hotel staff made our holiday. They were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Shout out to Mae who went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had a great stay
Overall couldn’t fault our 2 week stay at Romantic it was fabulous.
Nothing.

The location is excellent. It is walkable distance to good food and easy to pick up tricycles to go anywhere. Shella and Marge in particular were great support, helpful and friendly. They had two pool which were lovely and the front pool has a great vista. It had a pool table which was great with young adults and there was a very comfortable covered area. The rooms were large. There is a great little bread shop just to the right of the entrance.
Breakfast was good by Filipino standards - fruit, pancakes, bread, eggs and other items. For US$ it is value for money in terms of the location. In Australian dollars - you could see it as a bit expensive but that is the nature of the Philippines.
We were in the Annex - near the road. Unfortunately you could hear the sounds from the bars and one night they had a party until 1am with the sound coming through the walls. This is not a fault of the hotel but something to be aware of if you are staying in the Annex area. The wifi there also doesn't work so you need to go to the breakfast/dining area to work.

Nice location in GL.
The beach is affected by seaweed and is not a swimming beach. The pools are quite small.

very cozy and close to the beach and pool, amazing views
only minor stuff like the water pooling in the bathroom byvthe toilet does not seem to drain and always wet but that can be addressed and fixed easily. hope management will look into it.

the villas are very cute. We enjoyed chilling at the pool next to the beach, the view is incredible. We rented scooters at the hotel (350php per scooter per 24h) one day and another day joined the island-hopping tour for 1400php pp. At the end of the day, going back to the hotel was giving us a very good feeling. The whole staff is very helpful and incredibly nice. We decided to extend our booking by one night and even though our room seemed to be reserved, eventually they let us stay even at a discounted price. The breakfast served was good! They also arranged airport pick up and drop off for us for a small price.
It can be a little bit noisy in the night, but for the rest we enjoyed everything
