Great lodges in the middle of nature. Lieke is the most friendly host I have ever met. An the beaches nearby are amazing.
It is a 30 min drive to Tamarindo. Keep that in mind if you like to stay close to busy tourist town.

Best surprise of our holiday, Michiel and Lieke are Dutch hosts and do everything to make you feel at home, from good breakfast to help us book a tour to see turtles laying eggs on the beach. The bungalows on this eco lodge are spacious and surrounded by a beautiful green park. The area is quiet, but close to the beach etc. We definately want to come back.

Lieke the owner of the property is immensely helpful and welcoming. She was able to answer all our questions leading up to and during our stay. The facilities are wonderful - loved our room, the pool and the dining facilities. We were there with our two kids and they had on-site activities (pool, dart board, board games, ping pong) and items to borrow (boogie boards and snorkels) for offsite activities.
The outdoor space at the room was very mosquito heavy but a good dose of bug spray did it.

we loved the atmosphere, owners, pool, and how close our walk to the beach was.

Every aspect of this little gem, situated in the Costa Rican jungle just steps from the Pacific, was amazing. We enjoyed its romantic setting, pretty infinity pool set in a jungle garden, stellar hosts--and chefs!--cleanliness and welcoming vibes, as well as their delicious complimentary breakfasts and other gourmet meals which were available to buy. Our hosts were super helpful and accessible. The rooms are equipped to cook for yourself, and there's a small market about a 15 minute walk up the road--though you'd be missing out on the hotels very good and very reasonable restaurant. The area hasn't become another "Nosara/Miami/Hawaii"--not yet anyway--so come now and enjoy the food, the uncrowded beach, the infinity pool, birding and the howler monkeys.
Can't say there was anything.

Absolutely everything, especially the hostess and her amazing staff! The host Lieke is very friendly and helpful always willing to show or tell us what’s the most beautiful places to go and see!

The owner and staff were fabulous. Exceptional, personalized service! The rooms are clean, have great showers with hot water, and provide privacy in a jungle setting. The pool is clean and refreshing. The food is outstanding! We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the whole family was impressed.
Firm beds which were liked by some in our group but are not my preference. There was a sprinkler on in the evening that was hitting our bedroom window until midnight- likely just accidental placement but thought it was best to let you know.

The owners were on-site and very helpful and made you feel like home. Lovely setting with the wildlife there. Nice pool, restaurant right there and good food. Highly recommend it to anyone.
Nothing! It was exceptional!

I like locations a bit off the main roads. So this was perfect here. Very quiet, peaceful, close to nature. The style of the cabins is very nice. Every cabin with a different theme; only realized this after arrival. I also liked the restaurant and bar area next to the pool. I would have expected a bit more from breakfast since there is no self catering. But overall I have a fond memory of the place and it would definitely be one of the places I would go back to when returning to Costa Rica. Also because of the owners that are well engaged with the customers.

Beautiful lodges in the lush jungle, close to the beach. A warm welcome, very friendly owners and staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner in a wonderful open restaurant. A lovely and relaxing pool. We really loved our stay.

turtles! amazing to see them hatch and being released into the sea was a magical experience! the staff were good, breakfast and pancakes excellent. we ate in the restaurant for our 3 nights and the food was fresh and tasty and good value. brilliant shower in room, comfy beds. daily maid service excellent. had a couple of tiny guest lizards in our room who were entertaining. being close to the beach was lovely, we enjoyed morning strolls on a virtually empty beach. area is very quiet so might not be for everyone’s taste.
pool sometimes not as clean as would have liked. owners little self righteous and moody (Michel) but maybe that was just towards us 🤣

beautiful property in the jungle. bungalows were awesome. we stayed in the Persian bungalow and my daughter said she felt like princess jasmine! the showers were amazing! one of the best showers I've ever had! pool was very nice, the kids loved it. dinner at the restaurant was good. I enjoyed the steak. breakfast was ok but free so I enjoyed that. the beach was a five minute walk away but I didn't like the beach there. too desolate for me. we took a ride to Playa Negra instead and it was wonderful! just a few minutes away but down a very bumpy dirt road so you'll probably need a 4x4
the only thing I didn't like was how quiet it was. we are a very loud family so my anxiety was on high bc I felt like I would disturb the entire place sometimes as loud as we can be

We were enchanted entering this intimate cosy world of its own. Everything was just right to maintain the feeling of being in a wonderful setting, and being so very welcome. Mainly created by the warm hearted and inspiring hospitality of Lieke and Micihiel.
With so many loving details. The stack of crispy clean towels for you, just to use as you please, at the swimming pool. The free misquito repellent at the bar. The many kinds of games to play on a lazy evening, the table tennis. A cosy spacious outdoor restaurant, beautifully integrated into the whole, as a central place to be.
Spacious apartments, each individual one in a completely different unique style that invites you to travel in mind to the continents that make you curious. Each cabin with a lot of privacy and a lot of private outdoor space between the trees. Of course with many fans insiders en outside. The lightings are carefully selected. The huts are built and decorated with so much attention and love.
It’s a wonderful place when you are sensitive for all this. And then you are spoilt with delicious food for breakfast, lunch or dinner, that Lieke makes for you.
Nearby is the most beautiful quiet oceaan beach with breath taking sunsets, only on a 9 minutes’ lazy stroll away.
We felt so good that we stayed for three days and we will return for sure!

This location is a little piece of heaven on earth. The location is wonderful, the accommodation is fabulous and totally engulfed by the nature around it.
The two owners (Michael and Lieke) are so caring and kind they have really created a space of love.
The food is exquisite and served to such a high standard - we didn't need to eat anywhere else. Great menu; including options for vegetarians and vegans.
We didn't want to leave.
I cannot recommend this place enough - no one will be disappointed; it is a magical place.
Nothing; only one con to be aware of, it is a natural eco lodge so this means bugs. We love insects as well and animals so for us it was fascinating to see so much life.

The setting was peaceful and very relaxing. Our hosts, Like and Michael, were so welcoming and helpful. They have built a beautiful group in villas in the jungle, a lovely pool, and restaurant. We very much enjoyed the food, the conversation, and just hanging out. The air conditioning, the shower and the bed in the Persian bungalow were great. Michael and Lieke were quick to help with everything we needed.
Lieke let us know when the turtles were released at the nearby Vida Verdiazul-- this was a highlight of our stay--seeing the baby turtles scurry to the ocean.
We loved our stay. Our internet was intermittent, as can be expected.

I can definitely recommend the Mundo Milo Eco Lodge. It's just a 5 min walk to the wonderful beach which is fortunately not at all touristy. The Lodge is located in a small jungle area with birds, monkeys, etc. and the room was very comfortable. Furthermore, the hosts were super friendly giving us a lot of hints, especially some turtle baby release by a natural reserve. The breakfast and the dinner were also very good.
Nothing at all.

Beautiful property, with abundant plants and trees giving each villa a very private feel. The owners are wonderful, and as other reviews mention Leeka makes you feel very much welcome and at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, the pool was really nice and the food is as good as others say. An easy 5 minute walk to the beach. We only wish we had more time there!
Nothing, wonderful gem of a place!
