Room and facilities were very good, breakfast was great, with extra helpings being offered! Excellent attentive but not invasive hosting. Property was well kept and very clean.
Rather remote from town shopping and other amenities, although there is a pub/general store within easy walking distance.
Exit from property to main road needs caution.

Very kind family who hosts the B&B.
You'll definitely feel at home. Room was very spacious, bathroom even more. Beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast was wonderful. Every morning we were asked what we would like to eat, and it was freshly prepared in an instant. We are coming back for sure!

Breakfast was really good, the host even got in some manx kippers which were delicious. And there was always a jug of fresh milk in the room - so much nicer in a cup of tea at the end of a long day touristing.

We travelled on our motorcycles, there was a flat parking area perfect for them. The room was comfortable with nice extra touches and a huge bathroom. Breakfast was really good, well cooked and nice selection. Ballacowell is located on the TT route so had great access to the loop. Sulby Glen hotel across the road served nice food and drinks selection. A very pleasant stay and would be happy to recommend. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

I only ate toast but it was perfect, Mia and Chris were very happy to help when I requested it.
The room was large and on suite, the bed was enormous, tea and coffee making facilities were great.
There is also a great motorbike parking place next to the main entrance.
I went up Snafell, rode on a steam train, and busses I highly recommend getting a travel card, which allowed me to use any public transport. I also rode my motorbike which is always awesome. I went on a Boat trip from Port St Mary to the Calf, which was unbelievably quiet and peaceful, I watched two seals playing while I was there, there were more, but I couldn’t walk far enough to see them.
People are so friendly! I met a lovely couple Alan and Katherine, who let me sit in there beautiful Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.
I met two young local lads who are farmers Conner 13 and Brian 14 years old, they were very helpful suggesting places to see.
Nothing. Everything was spot on, the only thing that I wasn’t too happy about was that one of the other guests had a positive covid test.
This is unfortunately beyond anyones control, apparently covid is rife everywhere.
Other than Ballacowell, The Sulby Glen Hotel and the chip shop in Ramsey, I couldn’t find a decent coffee. The bus timetables where out of date.
In some places it is hard to park the motorbike due to uneven ground.

The breakfast menu was large and varied. The hot food was freshly cooked. The host asked questions so she could meet our needs which she did very successfully.
The location was as described and was in a lovely garden with lovely views at the rear of the property.
Nothing.
It exceeded all of our expectations.

Room was perfect. Bed really comfy, en-suite very spacious. A real home away from home. Maj the host was lovely and very accommodating with my arrival times, room was ready soon as i arrived.
Road noise outside was a bit much at times but that's it, that's the only negative I can think.

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and a good variety of drinks. The dining room is large and well set out with a view to a beautiful garden full of birds and if you are lucky a glimpse of horse in the next field. There is an area to one side where you can make a hot drink and sit in very comfy recliner swivel chairs.
There wasn't anything to dislike

The hotel owner is a very kind lady. She treated guest as the same as treating with her family members.
All facilities are perfect and I had a great time living there!

Breakfast just how I like it, plenty of fruit including strawberries, raspberries, kiwi and mango. Hot food cooked to order . Peaceful with lovely view of Snaefell whilst in dining room and colourful garden from bedroom. Friendly proprietor, flexible timings.Fresh flowers in room and hall.
Had problems standing up after using WC as nothing nearby to hold on to (have knee problems), also did not use spotless shower as no grab rail. This was my fault as had not checked beforehand. Don't actually need a disabled bathroom; usually en-suites are small with plenty to grab nearby! This was spacious with generous bath which I couldn't use as I need a lowering device at home.

Before arrival Maj emailed us to advise about what was required before travel and links to help us doing that. On arrival she was so very welcoming, friendly and attentive to our needs. While we were staying with her she was always asking if we wanted pots of tea or anything which was lovely. I will certainly stay there again in the future. I couldn’t recommend the b&b enough.
It was a bit warm in the room but with the window open the road was noisy but that’s not the fault of the b&b. Our welcome each morning made up for any noise heard from the road.

Breakfast was a delight. Eating in a large airy room with views of the gardens and hills beyond. I mentioned I liked black pudding and on day two it was there on my plate. It was noticeable that every guest we spoke with at breakfast was a return visitor. We chose this place as a central location and that it was. The crossroads, 50m away, took us in any direction we needed and only 20 odd minutes to the airport. Our room was large and well appointed with an ensuite. The common lounge had comfortable lounge chairs with a view over the garden. Our hosts could not have been nicer.
The local pub pulls a good beer but don't eat the food it is atrocious. Any English cook who can't even cook a decent bowl of chips has got to be questionable. I shan't go into our main meals. The only other thing that could have been better was being able to spend at least another week at this delightful B&B.
