Nice decor, bright airy and clean.
Bed very comfortable , small but adequate en-suite.
Good breakfast menu.
Easy parking.
The loo in the en-suite is right next to the window overlooking the main road!
(There is a blind!)

Incredibly polite and helpful staff member who was 100% professional. Breakfast was amazing.
Large very comfy bed.
The room fragrance plug ins. Just not to our taste. The view from our window was of some sort of building site.
4.5
Spacious room, excellent food, really good service.
Finding your way around - a bit of a labyrinth on a first visit.

Very welcoming from staff, Sam looked after us well. Everywhere was very clean, nice fluffy towels in bathroom, peaceful location, got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good, not a huge choice, but it’s a pub and not a hotel, and to be honest my eggs florentine were the best I have ever had
Shower in French room is not very good, it’s an electric powered one over the bath and has little power and was a bit fiddly, loo didn’t flush properly, it took several goes!

Brilliant traditional hotel, pub, restaurant. Excellent facilities, staff faultless. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay if you're in that area, highly recommended 👌

Lovely food at Dinner and a superb breakfast.
Second floor access was a bit difficult. The light in the bathroom was very low, not good for shaving.

Dog room was right up the top so had to carry cage, massive hazard with ceiling with a "mind your head" not doing much to help mannover

Decent breakfast. Location near Birmingham airport. Staff helpful. Pub beer good.
The hotel/pub is in a country village - but it was cold. We were stuck in an attic bedroom and the heaters were insufficient. There was a "heated" towel rail in the bathroom but no heat. The staff told me it is a fake and would be moved shortly.
We could not understand why they never lit the log fires in the bar and restaurant. It would have added ambience to the place, instead of customers sitting there, eating and drinking with their coats on!

good food especially the evening meal which was very good.
very low pressure on the all electric shower of low quality. A little more flexibility with arrival and departure times for residents would be appreciated
