Lovely all round, very well equipped, comfortable, quiet, thoughtful extra touches. Warm welcome…we couldn’t fault it!

Raphaele and Michael were fabulous hosts who welcomed us personally. The accommodation was comfortable, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a fabulous outlook over the countryside from the garden. Wine, chocolates and flowers had been left for us in the cottage which was such a lovely touch. We would not hesitate to return to this lovely property or recommend it to family and friends.
Not being able to stay longer!

Raphaele and Michael were superb hosts - so kind and friendly and we really appreciated the little extras such as a call from Raphaele before our stay to introduce herself and the French wine and chocolates on arrival. The cottage is amazingly presented and so clean with a lovely outdoor space. It was the perfect place for a little break to explore the area (Rye and Camber Sands etc) with our little boy, who loved walking into the field behind and watching the rabbits and horses.

Everything from the welcome we received from the hosts to the accommodation was 5 star. It was truly one of the most loveliest places we have ever stayed. The personal touches from the host when you arrive is so nice they made us feel very welcome. We stayed for a week and we could of stayed longer, the location is great to vist Rye and other places close by. It was a perfect stay with beautiful surroundings.
There was nothing we did not like about this accommodation.

The location to Rye and gardens we visited was perfect. On arrival our host gave us a very friendly & warm welcome, offering us a map of Rye, recommendations on pubs & restaurants, a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge, fresh flowers and chocolates. The cottage is cosy, comfortable, has lots of outdoor space, seating areas, all the basic cooking appliances, coffee pot, great shower, bedroom comfortable with lots of space for clothes. There is a field at the back which you can walk around. This was especially nice at dusk and dawn watching all the rabbits & wildlife. It was quiet and relaxing. A perfect stay.

The location is perfect, peaceful and lovely views and Raphaele is the perfect host 😊 She made me feel so welcome, that her guests are really important to her. I loved the thoughtful and welcoming touches, milk in the fridge, chocolates and even a bottle of wine!
The only thing that i might have wanted if i was staying in the winter, was a heater in the bathroom. But it wasn't cold this weekend so all good!

A warm welcome from Raphaele set the tone for our stay - the cottage Louis was very clean and well equipped. Dog friendly too! Perfect for our long weekend in Rye and East Sussex (note: easiest to get around with a car). Would recommend.

Location to explore Rye and Southeast UK, cleanliness, maintenance, host was great, well equipped cottage (kitchen and cooking utensils), shower, warm and cozy in winter.
Sofa and bed are a bit uncomfortable, though not a deal breaker for a couple of days’ trip.

Would have preferred a king size bed. Lounge sofa was not comfortable to relax in in the evening.

Lovely clean property with all amenities provided and some nice thoughtful extras. Great outdoor seating area. We liked it so much before this was our second visit. Even though Raphaelle was away she took the trouble to call beforehand and text while we were there and the gentleman that looks after the properties came to ask if everything was ok.
