The atmosphere and its warmth.
The shared bathroom had no lock on the other side of the neighboring door.

Cozy, great value and chill vibe. We had a private room which basically had a little social area for ourselves outside. The lounge in the front was also super cool and the staff very friendly and flexible. This is the one hostel to stay at.
The kitchen could've been better equipped, but there's enough to solve.

The owner was extremly friendly and helpful.
A lot of chillout areas and amazing!! Breakfast.
Room was a little bit stuffy but no biggie.

Nice hostal, just 100m from the beach,
Friendly vibes, colorful, friendly staff
The shower could do with a little more water

Beautiful hostal. The bedroom was clean and the bathroom was comfortable. They were nice enough to let us park until we left the beach. We loved all the plants and enjoyed cooking there. Great price.
A lot of mosquitoes and the top bunk was too hot, so pack a small fan perhaps. Mosquito net is a must. Even with our spiral repellent we couldn't keep them from us. Not an edm fan but they have that every Friday and we just escaped it for a bit.
Unfortunately left my shoes in the bedroom and the cleaning staff didn't know where they were :( the desk people were pretty cold and aloof. We had to clean the tables we ate on beforehand. But all in all, better than other places I've been to, despite losing my shoes.

The outside of the hostel is really nice and social, perfect to chill and have a beer
It's very hot in the hostel, and unfortunately in the dorm the fans don't hit the upper beds, plus there are no mosquito nets. So it's way too hot and the mosquitos are having a feast over night..

This hostel is located perfectly, only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The staff is very friendly and they offer different tours and surf classes. Also they can help with shuttles to the major places in Nicaragua. The private room with the shared bathroom was comfortable, there was a fan and I slept like a baby. In the surrounding there is a top notch Italian restaurant, which has the best pizza and pasta I ever ate.
It would be a good idea to take earplugs, there is music often in the evenings because it is also a bar, the music is not extremely loud, but earplugs do allow you to sleep when you want to.
Also on hygiene this accomodation is not recommended. The shower area is really nasty, mould in the walls, mould in the curtain, cockroaches, frogs, and smell of pee. The kitchen did not look to clean either.
So overall a great place to stay if you are able to see through these points, if you value hygiene a lot, you might reconsider.

Location superb very friendly staff plenty of information good bar good kitchen. Very welcoming.
Water went off in morning. Very hot in dorms could have done with a/c. No coffee in morning. Seemed you had to buy it outside or supply your own.

coolest hostel around loved it so much! First of all the Staff Marco made me feel at home from the second I walked in. it’s not on the beach but just across which is nice to chance the scenery and the hostel was super cool lots of places to chill out lots of hammocks, good kitchen and super social, highly recommended ! it’s a place you don’t wanna leave !
I would have liked more fans in the room it was a bit too hot and the fridge wasn’t really working but beside that it was perfect hope they fix these 2 things to make the stay more comfortable for other travellers

A very relaxed spot, whole atmosphere was very easy going. loved being able to use the kitchen to cook for ourselves, the local shops were stocked enough that each meal was a bit of an adventure but that added to the fun. There were also enough places to eat out if you wanted. Staff were brilliant, definitely hoping to go back!

It's a very nice place with a cool vibe. I loved the location, the interiors. Special mentions also for the crew: the owner and the receptionists were super nice and helpful.
We were staying in the dorm and it was clean and had enough privacy, which is always very nice :)
The three things I would suggest to improve were:
- the water in the bathrooms (I know how it is, but still many places manage to make it)
- cleanliness in the kitchen (we didn't cook, but definitely some serious cleaning would do it good)
The other thing were volunteers. There were so many volunteers and it was dificult what they do. They were not able to answer most of the questions (so you had to ask the reception anyways), making mistakes in the bar (with currencies, which is super lame). Some of them seemed to be offended. Basically it was another cool place with strange, hermetic volunteers... it kills a vibe a bit unfortunately.
