At least the food in the restaurant was good
The staff was very unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome. The door of the cabana couldnt close properly, 1 of the chargingppoints did not work and there was no wifi in the room. Would definately not stay there again, Breakfast includes some options, I wanted something else and wanted to pay for it, but they wanted to charge me 2x the pricedifference. I think it's a ripoff and did not experience this before in Nicaragua

The bungalow was on the ocean, walking distance to beautiful sand beaches. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Having parking in a locked area was great to have as an option. The breakfast included was delightful! There are lots of food options close by and local stores.

Einfach ausgestettete Zimmer mit Mückennetz & Aircondition.

Terrible place. They didn’t respect the booking policies. I booked a bungalow with ac and they didn’t give it to me and they wanted to charge me extra. The place was trashy and the parking lot was very inaccesible. False advertisement and the pictures were deceiving.
It was not clean at all.

I enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the breakfast included.
The fact that when we arrived to check-in, the staff was trying to charge us a different rate than the one reserved through the Booking App.

Lovely spot with a view over the beach. Few local shops/other restaurants but the restaurant onsite has lots of choice (everything was great) so no real need to go anywhere else. Staff were amazing and so kind to my kids. All in all a lovely relaxing stay.

Loved EVERYTHING! I stayed alone in a family bungalow. It was everything I wished for. Loved waking up for the noise of animals. Close to the beach. The restaurant was nice, good food, cocktails. Bathroom is the nicest I have ever seen in a bungalow. For me this was truly PARADISE. I wish I could have stayed there forever. I dont think I have ever like a place so much than this.
That the mosqitues bit me too much 😅

we were very excited to stay here, unfortunately our stay turned into a nightmare.
We booked one of the more expensive Cabanas for 4 nights and left early morning after the 1st night. The hotel failed to inform us that they had a water pump issue, that was overfilling with water that had the most sickening and offence smell too it. The water tank overfilled in the grounds around our Cabana and close to the other 3 Cabanas with stagnant water. The water smell was do disgusting it woke up both up at 3am in the morning, making us feel sick. The cleaner at 5am in the morning admitted to knowing about the issue as did the receptionist, who offered us a Dorm room to sleep in instead.
What we can’t understand is how the hotel think it is ok to rent out their Cabanas with this problem and the effect it has on guests, not only that but they continued to lie to Booking.com about supposedly giving us an upgrade. We already booked the upgrade, a dorm room is by far a downgrade.

Nice breakfast and charming host.
Staff would make mistakes in regards to keys and then rudely blame guests.

The cabanas are really nice and give a real tropical feel to your stay! The location is really nice with a great view over the riverbed. With low tide, you can walk from the beach through the riverbed back to the hotel. You can also book some experiences with the hotel, which looked nice, but we already had other plans, so we didn't try them out.
The owner is a really kind French lady who helped a lot when something went wrong with our booking. She was very understanding and tried to sort everything out as well as possible. Luckily, we ended up in the cabana we booked in the end!
The shower in our cabana wasn't working. We were allowed to use the shower from one of the dormrooms while they tried to fix the problem, which was fine with us. Unfortunately, they weren't able to fix the showers while we were there, but we only stayed one night, so that's understandable.

Lots of veggie and vegan meal options in the restaurant. All very good.
Eco style cabañas that have jungle feel and are very private.
Beautiful location with outstanding views.
Lovely staff.
Beds could have been a little firmer for me.

Great location, amazing food at the restaurant- cool eco friendly bungalós and comfy beds. Some of the staff was great.
I ended up paying double what what was posted online. I think it was around $35 online - and when we got there they charged me $55 because I had no cash, and I paid $5 to secure the room, so I was furious about that. The fees are labeled on the site, but not well, and they charge 10% extra if you don’t have cash- and that was not stated clearly. Some of the staff had a bit of an attitude- but others where very kind and great. So that was a bit mixed as well. Paying double what I expected to pay put me in a bad mood upon arrival. So Mabey staff would have been more inviting if I had not had that frustration from the get go.

Great location for surfing and lovely food.

The location (right at the beach) and the tranquility of the hotel! It’s a 3 minute walk to the Main Street where you can find plenty of restaurant (recommend to check out SUA). Room was without AC, but you really don’t need it! The restaurant has a lot to offer.

Food didn’t disappoint at all. Lovely place to chill & relax whilst being a short walk to the beach. Nice to not here the noise of London city.
The pool table, it’s old but still is a decent one.

The staff is great! They were always so helpful. We were a bit afraid to get a taxi in Managua, the staff got in us touch with a private shuttle company and it was perfect!
We got the cabana for the first 3 nights and then we wanted to extend for one more week 🙈.
The location is great, 2 min walk from the beach where you can rent boards and surf by yourself or get classes.
For us, the BEST THING was actually the food. So many healthy and delicious options with fair prices. Believe us, we have been here for more than a week and we pretty much tried the full menu.

The view,the Bungalows the staff..
Everything was good..

spacious, restaurant facilities and the 6 room hotel area
no beach - just an inlet subject to tides - low tide, a mud hole. bungalows were a disaster. propped up with cement blocks but still off center and slanted. Bathroom had no flush toilet - outhouse type with drop into container. Not one of the staff spoke a word of English although the ad stated English spoken.

Very lovely people, super relax atmosphere and nice clean rooms. We got a kayak rentel for free and went into the mangroves. Unfortunately it was not the turtle season but otherwise they arrange tours there as well. Very recommended!
