The charm of the old building, location, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you

Nothing really. It was a hot weekend when we stayed and all there was in the room was a small fan, but it was ok

Friendly staff, cozy room, clean (looking new) carpet, good location, good value for money

Noise of doors. The doors to the next/across rooms are very close and the noise of door shutting was very loud.

The hotel was centrally located, restaurants and bars were within walking distance and Brighton Pier is only a short walk. Our room was spotlessly clean, we stayed in a sea view room and although the hotel is an older building, the room had been modernised. The bed was comfortable and the view was amazing! All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back-Highly recommend 😊

water didn’t run warm, there was a no food in room rule, and leaving the key in reception felt both unsafe and like I wasn’t trusted not to lose it

Lovely staff, really nice location right next to beach!

Room was lovely with balcony and amazing views of the sea and pier, location and breakfast were great, the staff were so friendly and lovely at this family run hotel.

Cannot think of anything that could be better

Everything had a lovely room on the West Side of the building, which gave us a lovely view of the channel and the pier. Lovely four poster bed ,fantastic showers,and the hotel lays on razorblades,products for women such as make-up removers, and other women products. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Have to leave key when you go out. This is no issue as there is a 24-hour concierge. Lovely little bar in the hotel and the food they serve is very well priced and worth the money. All in all, it's a good place to go.

The staff were lovely! Especially the Irish gentlemen who was working the night shift, he made us very welcome and overall made our stay a night to remember.. great place and lovely people!

No issues

Great location, staff super friendly and welcoming. Great value for Brighton and in a location quiet enough to sleep well whilst being 10 mins tops away from restaurants and amenities. We will come back when we visit Brighton again in coming months.

Was just a little hard to keep the bathroom dry as the shower screen was a little too open.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room was lovely and they had thought of everything ☺️ cotton balls, ear buds, hair bands, sanitary products! The staff were really lovely too and welcoming, and the hotel is right near town, and right on the seafront. I’ll definitely be returning.
