Excellent venue, I would recommend to anyone.

The staff were lovely and polite. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I have had in a long long time. The hotel was located right next to the main streets of york, just a 3 minute walk from the Minster and The Shambles.

The room was a little stuffy which was not helped by the provided fan, we went and bought a better desk fan to help us sleep and the memory foam mattress topper was a little too soft for our liking.

Perfect little getaway.

Great hotel,good atmosphere and staff were nothing but helpful. Location to the city centre is perfect, especially that it has free parking.

Nothing tried to book for next year but doesn't look to have dates that far in advance.

Great Exhibition

Perfect location, close to all attractions. Free car parking. Very friendly, always willing to help staff. Varied breakfasts served in a very original conservatory.

This hotel contributed to an extremely relaxing break away with my daughter.

Fantastic location.

Pillows were extremely firm. Not at all good for my already stiff neck. I would consider taking my own pillows if I stayed at this property in the future.

It's our 2nd visit to the exhibition, it's a lovely cozy hotel ,very well located ,lovely clean well decorated rooms ,the breakfast & service from Rosie was 100%, looking to book again next year .

Perfect location.

Location is great. The staff were amazing, so helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.

Great weekend stay

The staff we're very friendly and helpful and nothing was too trouble. Very nice people. Came by train so the location was perfect and close to the city centre so everything is on the doorstep. The breakfast was top draw with lots of choice, so it sets you up for the day. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in York.

Good for 1 night.

Excellent location with parking (although a tight spot). Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Disappointed in our room - 'Victoria'. Athough clean and a comfortable bed, it had a tiny window, ceiling height. When it rained it came in straight onto the bed, so had to close it and the room was then stuffy. Despite a fan being provided, I didn't like not being able to look out of a window.

A lovely stay in the centre of York only a couple of hundred metres from York Minster. I would recommend highly and free

Lovely old fashioned pub with lovely accommodation Excellent choice for breakfast. Had a very interesting breakfast the last morning when the poor waitress lost the contents of my friend’s breakfast over the table and covered him in coffee. A complete accident and we both saw the funny side of it and the breakfast was replaced very quickly after. I hope the waitress has recovered. We will return again for another experience when we can

We still enjoyed our stay and saw some other hostelries in York we probably wouldn't' have seen.

The pub has an amazing beer garden and the interior is fantastic,the breakfast is superb and the staff are very accomodating.

Unfortunately the pub was closed on the day we arrived for some essential gas works, which was really disappointing as we had actually booked the venue solely for the excellent beer garden and the atmosphere in the pub itself. We was obviously disappointed that we couldn't use the facilities or attend the quiz night! After staying there previously and having had a brilliant time it was disappointing that we couldn't do the same on this occasion.

Lovely stay in York at the Exhibition

A lovely welcome from Hannah who was a great help. All the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. Breakfast was great and had a great choice all cooked to order

Great breakfast. Very quirky out the back decorated so interesting so much to see. Car park out the back and 2 mins walk to town centre.

Our room was as hot as an oven they did have a stand up fan but it was so warm. The bed was so soft we kept rolling towards the middle, didn't sleep very well. Only breakfast no food other than that

It was ideally situated for us as it was close walking distance to the event we were attending. Plenty of clean towels provided

Great atmosphere in a very conveniently positioned site. Very close to city walls, private parking was a bonus and the service and breakfasts were excellent.

The parking facility was a bit tight and it was possible to get blocked in.

This is the best place in York by far!!

The Exhibition is a great place to stay. Great location, free parking, great food, lovely rooms, clean and comfy, and the most fabulous friendly staff. Most of all, Rose is the most welcoming, warm host and special lady.
