Great house for kids, very clean, and comfortable beds. Kitchen was one of the most well equipped, it had everything you needed. Kids loved the garden and play barn. Location great to visit Rurland Waters, Oakham and Stamford.

Everything! Jennifer has thought about every little detail and she was super helpful and very friendly. The property itself is so gorgeous has generously sized rooms, a large bathroom, perfect kitchen which has everything you need and the cosiest lounge you could ask for! The garden was immaculate with beautiful garden furniture. Although we didn’t use it, there was a lovely BBQ and picnic bench, if we had more time we would have used it! Very secluded and out of the way although it’s only 5min drive off the A1. if you love nature and cows then this is the perfect place to stay!
There was nothing at all that we didn’t like

The location and setting is perfect for families. We stayed with a toddler and two dogs and it was perfect, safe/secluded garden and grounds. Being on a working farm it was so lovely seeing the machinery and the cows just outside the garden! The cottage had everything you could ask for, catering for all our needs. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, big open plan kitchen diner perfect for family dinners. Loved that it had baby gates, toys, play mat, high chair and travel cot, so entirely baby/toddler friendly.
Nothing really. The only Bathroom is downstairs so was a little concerned about my parents getting up in the night having to go down the stairs, but they were perfectly fine and it didn’t cause a problem!

A wonderful hostess who had thought of all our needs. She helped ensure we had clear directions. A welcome log fire was burning and some food gifts left for us.
The wood stored outside was a little damp and the tools were not very easy to use, but a very minor issue.

Jennifer the host was amazing. Welcoming and warm.
Appreciate the kind gesture of cake and jaffa cakes on arrival. I love the fact they had all the extra essentials that you can use if you forgot to bring things such as tooth paste, ear buds and shavers etc.
Lots of storage space. Good size cottage.
Lovely size rooms with big comfy bouncy beds. Love the view outside of the house.
The open fields and the fact we felt extremely safe. We let the kids run around in and out of the house without fearing that something will happen. In London we have never felt this safe to let our young children roam free, this place was a dream for us parents to relax. It felt great not having to feel the need to constantly watch the kids every move.
Love the bathroom with the nice size tub.
Appreciate the bbq area which we used enjoyed.
We really enjoyed ourselves.
There were a lot of flies in the kitchen. It was hard to put food down without covering so that the flies do not all go over it.

All the facilities - the bathroom cupboard as I always forget something. Large garden.
Flies - but to be expected on a farm and in a heatwave

This was a clean, well-equipped and pleasantly decorated house. The rooms were spacious, particularly the large bedrooms and bathroom. There is a huge dining table in the kitchen. The owner is welcoming and available if there are difficulties. The garden is well-fenced in for children. The house is at the end of the road (literally) with only an accessible wood behind it. It is not isolated, as there is a small community of farm houses around it. It is well set in the Rutland countryside, but is in easy access to many holiday activities.

Lovely clean cottage. The host kindly made us the most delicious chocolate cake along with other goodies. They brought the cows to the front of the house every morning so our children could enjoy watching them at a closer distance.
The house is so well equipped, we had a lovely Bbq one evening and enjoyed Netflix daily.

It’s a lovely location and a charming cottage with all amenities thought of.
Nothing we didn’t like.
