Fabulous central venue!
I loved the history!!

Convenient for our needs. The staff were very helpful and supportive. Good food. Comfortable clean rooms.
The coffee in the restaurant was not good. Straight from a jar of instant. That was my only gripe. A pub/restaurant of this standard should at least be able to make a decent cup.

Staff excellent very helpful. 😊
Very good food.
Very spacious rooms.
Nice public areas.
Refresh of paint needed in bedrooms/bathroom.
On the 3rd floor, the curvy staircase needs stair rail as my younger grandchild is used to holding a rail, and so am I.

Really good hotel, the staff were so friendly and hlepful. First time we've stayed there (we visit Peterborough a lot) and will now look at staying there every time!
To be honest, there wasn't anything we could find that would warrant improving! The room, the staff, the location, everything was spot on!

Breakfast was ok, but when we checked in we were told 7.30 until 10.00 for breakfast, but the breakfast waiter said they stopped serving residential guests at 9.00, and one of our party didn’t come down until 9.10, he still had his breakfast, but l feel this needs clarifying. Need to improve car parking space.
Hotel is in a good position for visiting places, although we were there to attend a relatives funeral, so new the area quite well. Rooms were nice and clean, with a good shower and tea/coffee making facilities.

Nice clean hotel, staff were very helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was great.
It's a lively pub at the weekend so is quite noisy at night. The decor is nice but a little dated, carpet pulling up in some places etc.

It is OK for a night. Loud music outside stops at 2300 so that was OK.

Perfect location in the town centre. Room was nice and spacious.
1 tiny thing. Although we were grateful for the fan, it was really dirty inside.

Excellent village location.Parking to rear of property.good restaurant and lovely pub.couldnt hear any pub noise in room.
Could do with blackout curtains in room 1 as very bright at 05.30.
7.0
The food/restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal. The fact that everything is in one place and there was entertainment.
We had room 2 which was fine apart from the en suite which smelt of drains which wasn't very pleasant.

We have no complaints concerning this hotel. Our family room was large well furnished and any issues were dealt with swifty. Breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. Evening life was fine with a decent bar and entainment. Round at the back there was limited parking but the largest outdoor TV we have ever seen. We are planning to return. Staff were A1 Assisting with suitcases without being asked.
Nothing worth talking about.

The breakfast was varied and excellent
The bed iwe had in room 4 could have been bigger we felt a bit squashed we are used to a king size in comparison my brother and sister in law in room 2 looked like a super king

Location was perfect and the room was very spacious. There was a bit of a damp smell which was evident from a patch on the ceiling. It made my coat smell a little damp in the wardrobe. The staff were helpful and check in was simple.
I feel the breakfast could be better. There was a menu to choose from which was great and we both enjoyed what was cooked but I would have liked fruit juice to be available or even a glass of water. There was no fruit or yogurts and the only cereals offered were wheatabix, cornflakes or rice crispies, muesli would have been great. We asked for extra toast and the waiter brought one slice of the thinnest white toast I've ever seen. I think with some simple tweaks the breakfast could be vastly improved.
