place was so peaceful, love to be by the lake, no lake view from our room but no problem at all.
sign to the property needs to be more visible, its very small and dark, it is hard to get in and out from the main road after dark.
also access from the main road to the terrain path its way raft, uneven and complicated to access property.

Beautiful room and bathroom. Patio space for enjoying the beautiful weather. A few flights of stairs and you're in the water. They have free kayaks if you want to use them.
A bit far from town so be prepared to pay for taxis if you don't have your own vehicle.

Decepcionante. Pésimo.

It was really basic for the price

Good spot. And the place does have internet (although Booking.com says not).

It has a pier to the lagoon, the staff is very friendly
the beds could be of better quality. We are allergic to cats and have several on the property

Quiet place, wifi available, surrounded by nature and the lagoon, easy access to the lagoon
No TV in the room, is a little bit far from Bacalar downtown

it’s a beautiful small hotel by the lake. we were the only tourists at the property with a terrace and a small pier looking the lake. our room was small but pleasant with the balcony and bathroom. comfortable bed and fridge in the room. it is very quiet place, perfect to chill out and enjoy the beautiful colours of the lake. there are 2 kayaks to rent as well. very pleasant stay at the property.
the road to rich the house is quite poor.

Atmosphere is magic and the silence of the nature incredibile! This place is really peaceful and having breakfast in front of the laguna is magic
The welcome has been quite cold. The area is far away from the town, during the evening seems quite lonely and dark

The pier on the lake was stunning, great spot to read or just relax. And the free kayaks were a very nice touch.
Staff was also super accommodating. It's about a 30-50min walk into town depending on where you need to go, but staff were always able to call a taxi for you (about 70 pesos one way). Free coffee, tea and water all day as well, pretty good!
There was a bit of a mix-up with the rooms when we arrived. It got fixed, but only because we insisted and complained. The sheets in one of the rooms were fairly stained as well, which isn't a great look.
Although we didn't really need the Wi-Fi, it worked maybe 10% of the time we were there. Not great!

The location on the lagoon was beautiful. Staff was very nice. Mattress comfortable
The bedding and towels were filthy and all stained. You can hear the traffic from the room and ours was all musty smelling

wonderful location right on the lagoon. free access to kayaks meant you got to explore it as well. excellent hammock on the balcony to relax.
had a very rude welcome by staff when trying to pay. they would only accept payment in cash and in the exact amount the room cost - they could not break my note and then made out it was my problem.
lack of a sheet on the bed meant for an itchy sleep - it’s just a bed covering, the like you would usually remove.
the sheets themselves and towels were quite stained at points, despite being washed.

amazing nature retreat , the atmosphere is just super relaxing and keep you connected with the nature ! the garden super nice and then there are the stairs to get to the lagoon , the view is magic ,there’s a small private dock with a couple of chairs to relax and you can use 2 kayak for free to enjoy the lagoon !
The owner is a nice, sweet and smily lady :-)
The room is very simple but fine.
The room was a bit humid and I thought we were going to sleep in absolute silence , as we were in the nature , but was quite noise for the animals around I guess and probably the room isn’t sound proof , as we heard all the people talking at 7 in the morning and someone’s phone ringing every few minutes so we woke up quite early.
And I really recommend to come with a car because is not close to the center ( should be 30 min walking ) and there’s nothing nearby to eat , not even for breakfast , so if you don’t have a car is a problem.

the private dock and view of the lagoon were amazing.
nothing.

The property is located on the lagoon with staircase access, very calm and peaceful. Two free kayaks available for use most of the day, sometimes you have to wait for people to return them. Very beautiful at sunrise/ sunset. Absolutely amazing experience.
Insect repellent is a most, if you do not speak Spanish a translation app is also recommended. The host was great but did not speak English at all. The room smelled moldy, but was clean and the shower had hot water. There was noise from the road.
Note that the property is a car drive from the centre, no food or restaurant in walking distance.

The rook was nice, bed super comfy and I loved the patio with hammock
It's not really on a beach though you can get to the water there is a super small place to sit but its not a beach. It is far from town too and nothing within waking distance only a restaurant across the street that sells tacos they have no veggie options.

Excellent place, free kayaks, super chill and clean.. the host was awesome cleaned my room regularly and topped me up with various shampoos and stuff. Also the security guard helped me ring a taxi when ever I wanted to go in to town, super nice guy. And the hammock pontoon is pure bliss. Loved it, well impressed. The room was huge also, exceeded my expectations and is the nicest place I have stayed in Mexico

Access to the laguna and kayaks available for free, nice green area.
The first night the bedsheets were dirty and not well put. Luckily the next days it was very clean.
We got the room on the site of the highway even if the hotel was empty.
This room is quite noisy due to the traffic.

You are right in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve. I loved Waking up in the morning to the sounds of the waves and nature, the view of the lagoon which you can get to on the property. Its relaxing, quiet and a wonderful get away
If you don't hire a car or bikes you need to get a taxi to the centre of town. Location is about 5 mins drive from Ado bus station. Internet isn't too good but we weren't fussed about that.

It is a very small hotel with its own access to the lagoon. The area of the Lagoon is very peaceful and quiet.
Unfortunately the hotel is very close to the main road, which was a bit noisy.
The Hotel does not have a Restaurant.
