Needs to improve

Great bedrooms & beds, lots of privacy and a cute café at the entrance + kitchen. Great showers as well and nice people at the reception.

Do not do your laundry here! Won't get clean and dryer doesn't dry, wasted money and 3 hours for this. No luggage storage at reception so they just lay at the entrance which is not safe! More of a hotel vibe here, people don't connect and a bit boring area.

Overall I would say our stay was positive, but be aware that the AC is not always available.

I liked the location and restaurants that were nearby. The place itself was also very clean and having a shared kitchen to use as needed was very handy. Price was decent for a private room.

We were in a private room on the top floor. Mostly everything was great except that there was no air conditioning (even though its advertised). Apparently if you go there in the spring, even if the room is over 75 degrees F they have the Air conditioning off for the entire building... This was not the biggest deal because we could just open this windows right... None of the windows has screens so we were getting bugs in our room while we slept. In fact one of the windows in our room was missing a chain so it opened all the way. Large enough for a full grown man to get through and we were on the top floor... Kind of sketch

We had a great time staying here and would have stayed longer had they had more availability.

Room was clean, comfy and chic. Friendly staff. Delicious food at a great price. Fantastic location. 10/10

Nice room and good amenities

The room was spacious and was even equipped with a little sink. The check-in/check-out was easy & we were able to store our luggage for free. The combination with the bar & coffee place with the central location makes this hostel a very enjoyable option!

Good stay!

Great location, staff and interior.

Not your typical hostel. The common area was a bit small to socialize. There is a cafe and restaurant but we were told to not extend our stay for more than 2 hours while sitting. Also did some laundry here and the dryer took for ever to dry. We ended it after two hours of drying and it was still very moist. Ended up drying the clothes in the room.

Citan

Situé dans une zone calme avec un arrêt de métro à 5 min à pied. Très sympa comme petit endroit Très propre Personnelle très sympa et parle anglais.

Les lits sont peut être un peu bruyant donc si vous avez le malheur de tomber sur des fêtards dans la chambre je vous conseille les bouchons d'oreille

I would come back to stay again just for the experience. Loved it!

Very convenient location, so it was easy to come and go. The staff was incredible as well. They all spoke so kindly and were so helpful. They also had free breakfast and delicious coffee, drinks, you name it!

The laundry is a shared space and had some issues with some of the other guests. It was a small space, so it’s a bit difficult to maneuver around others. The dryer also had some trouble drying our clothes.

Third time there, and I still love it.

Absolutely everything. Super big rooms, comfortable, quiet, perfect location, perfect amenities, and so on. I really really love this place and it was already my third time there. Extremely clean and well organised. It's absolutely perfect.

Nothing at all to point. Probably a small discount on the coffee downstairs would be nice :P.

The neighbors had an extremely loud night. Perhaps it would be great to enforce people to remain a bit quite after midnight.

i love that it’s so convenient to travel anywhere from Citan, and the beds are super comfy!

Pleasant

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location as it is close to multiple subway stations, offering easy access to many popular places around Tokyo as well as direct rail connection the airport. The washrooms and showers were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable with curtains for privacy as well as electrical sockets and a lamp next to each bed. I enjoyed the bar in the basement floor, it has good vibes.

The dorm room was very dusty, doesn't seem like they clean it very often as I saw many dust particles floating in the air and a lot of dirt underneath the bed. The building is poorly insulated so it was very cold even with the AC set at a decent temperature inside the room. The common area and kitchen is very tiny, good enough to sit down and relax for a while or have a meal as it's well furnished but not very spacious or comfortable for anything else other than that.

Next level hostel!

Super clean and comfortable hostel, with toilets and showers on every floor. Great water pressure, even the soap and shampoo are quality (so much so that the products are for sale in the lobby). Full bar in the basement with snacks and meals available until late. The atmosphere in the basement bar/restaurant is always relaxed and the music was chill, whether it was a playlist (weekdays) or a DJ (!) (weekends).

Coffee line was a bit slow in the mornings - and they only serve breakfast until 11 🤣

Gem of a hostel

Virtually everything. I didn't realize that it was a shared bathroom, but it wasn't an issue. The toilets and showers were immaculate and because they are on every since floor, I hardly bumped into anyone when using those facilities. The bar/restaurant is excellent.

Just an observation that the hostel seems to attract more of the business crowd in the area rather than the usual backpacker persona. Probably a result of the location.
