Everything the staff are amazing, the location was great

Man bekommt jeden Tag insgesamt 1L Wasser in Glasflaschen vom Hotel.

Excellent beach, close to all the shops, Thai owned and operated so lovely friendly helpful staff, very good buffet breakfast. Big room size. Big bathroom with good natural light during the day. Shower pressure ok and warm water that didn't run out during shower.
Under flight path (during the day... I think first flight no earlier than 8am and last flight about 9pm). Very hard beds (mattress topper provided after request). No USB/power point charger, near bed (it is near desk opposite wall~3-4m away). Room windows with block out curtains face thoroughfare, so dark room during the day if you want privacy, or have to turn lights on. Mosquitos just outside room, so one must have mosquito repellent spray. Sometimes mosquitos in room after room service because room doors are left open during housekeeping duties. Wardrobe in bathroom rather than in bedroom. No hooks in bathroom for towel hanging (I used towel rail).

My friend and I really enjoyed this resort, so much so we booked it again for the end of our stay in Koh Samui. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast. The grounds are really lush and gorgeous; beautiful, natural setting. The beach is lovely and sea very calm. The main street is very close, with lots of bars, restaurants, live music, money changers, etc if needed, but resort bungalow very quiet at night. A wonderful place.
Airport is nearby and flights in and out can be heard at sensible hours, which didn't bother us. (It's not a busy airport). In fact, I quite enjoyed watching them fly over!!! No real issues with Baan Chewang resort. I can definitely recommend!

Nothing all was excellent

This is a three-star resort in a five-star location. The beach is right on the resort and a short stroll from our room. The staff (shout out to Mr Chai the concierge) were excellent and assisted us with any queries.
As a three-star resort it punches above its weight and while the rooms were basic, they were cleaned every day and suited our purposes perfectly.
Nothing, it was a great little resort located right in the centre of everything.

Close to the vibe of Chaweng but secluded in beautiful bush land fauna. Loved the breakfast view and food. Staff extremely friendly. Will return again.

Ideally situated in the middle of Chaweng but still quiet and calm. Rooms are a good size.
They have changed the restaurant and I feel it is a little cramped compared to before.

The hotel has now finished the renovation mentioned by other reviews, so the bar restaurant and swimming pool area now very enjoyable. Breakfast not bad, even though a little low capacity for seating during the busy time of breakfast (so go early to miss the rush!). Basically on the beach, so very easy access, and basically in the middle of the main road, so very easy walking distance to everything of interest.
Reception services seem to have some issues. I initially received a online message after booking saying they needed to change my room configuration with me having to change rooms mid-stay! Which I reluctantly accepted, but this was however not required when I finally checked-in with the person on reception confused when I even asked about it. I then got another message a day after check-in saying that the change wasn't necessary due to a cancellation..... Then on check-out there was a massage charge they had which was not mine. Looked like another guest mistakenly signed for a massage under my room number.... but was just annoying it was another thing that needed to be sorted out before we were allowed to check-out.....

Location
The pavement in the street it's dangerous

The location was great, breakfast was good, staff were excellent, beach was great.
The beds were uncomfortable, the fact that only one key if given to couples is annoying, the finishes were rough around the edges.

Thank you, Baan Chaweng, for the birthday party, complimentary champagne and the effort made to dress up my bed wishing me a happy birthday!

Beachfront with private sun loungers.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Large, spacious and clean rooms.
Good location for shops, restaurants and nightlife.
Our room was discounted due to renovations.
This hotel is currently under renovation. The pool area is closed and there are noisy construction works throughout the day.
This was not clearly advertised on booking.com. It was implied the hotel closed for the month of May only.
We were not aware that the pool was closed or the noisy building works would continue throughout our stay.

- This place has the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, a lot of choices, and very high quality.
- Very friendly staff, you can leave your room key at the reception and they will give it to you when you come back, no need to worry about losing it
- My room was very spacious and had a big balcony
Walking from the hotel to the main road is through the main entrance where cars drive, a path to walk would have been nice.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and it was our 2nd time staying here. It is a perfect location in the middle of Chaweng but with none of the noise!! The beach is amazing and the pool. The staff are exceptional!!! Especially Rueng :) Food is excellent too!! Honestly, a perfect hotel in a perfect location, thank you so much for another wonderful stay!
That we had to leave!

We love Baan Chaweng -it’s our third time there. It’s such a great location right on Chaweng Beach but close to the restaurants and town. Loved breakfast every morning right at the beach. Such friendly staff and helped us with a room change to our favourite room.
