A pleasant stay in a comfortable house.

The property was perfect for a small group of friends. The rooms were a good size and the property was clean. The lounge area was very comfortable and it was great to have Wi-Fi and sky. There was good parking available. It was close enough to drive into Nottingham when required and was close to a range of supermarkets.

The mattresses on the beds were a little uncomfortable- perhaps better mattress? The oven had no temperature markings so it was definitely guess work when cooking with regards to temperature. The grill also did not work. There were no side plates so we had to use the dinner plates if we just wanted lunch. These were just minor issues and did not affect our stay to any great extent.

Great location for Download festival and city access. House was good.

Area very bad, had 3 taxi drivers tell us the area isnt safe at night. Address on google maps on the booking wasnt quite right, sent us to wrong street but we found it in the end.

Very good

Location is not central but it was easy to get where we wanted. Very suitable for a family - plenty of space. Free parking was a bonus. Beds comfortable. WiFi was good. This was our second time here, so we knew what to expect.

Room furniture is dated and could do with an update. Blinds tatty and damaged. Shower not very powerful. Kitchen pans need an update. No slotted turner or small sharp knives or scissors. It would be nice to be able to open the quarterlight windows in the bedrooms. Booking-in form is complicated.

Lots of positives

Happy with the space. Accommodated our family of 5 nicely. The place was clean and warm. We loved Nottingham itself.

Pre-arrival form filling was a bit of a nightmare. I have never been asked to make a bank transfer a damage "bond" on a Booking.com property before. We provided our credit card details instead. The property was toasty warm on arrival but we then couldn't turn down the temperature without contacting the host for advice. The smoke alarm started beeping intermittently at midnight each night. We had reported this the first night, but it did recur.

Poorly maintained. Damage to walls. Smoke alarms constantly bleeping. Drawer in bedroom smelt of sick or old stale alchohol. Cooker hob did not work. No Bath despite say there is.

Amazing hosts! Amazing home!

Having booked very last minute due to a previous booking falling through. I received confirmation instantly and within 20minutes of travelling there, the cleaner was sorting the house. Great work for such short notice. Would definitely recommend and come back. Only 15 minutes from the centre. With easy access to and from the house. Very sizeable and liveable so definitely worth the money. Smashed it guys thank you!

Simply terrible!!!

Location

The house was dirty and required cleaning before going in properly. The garden was unsafe for children. The electrics were illegal with wires showing and exposed backboxes. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and there were no curtains meaning that it was light in the bedroom from 5am. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE

Could be great, but lack of amenities and sleep quality meant we would not return.

The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful and always contactable by text or phone, we absolutely couldn’t fault her. The house was also extremely clean and reasonably priced, and in a good and quiet location, a cheap 10-15 minute Uber drive from the city centre. The kitchen and living area were nice spaces and the shower was good.

There was a lack of basic amenities that unfortunately disrupted our stay. We would expect any accommodation we stay at to have toilet roll as a standard so not having any upon arrival was an inconvenience. The kitchen had most things but no oven gloves, iron/ironing board or first aid kit, and there were only 2 towels for 5 of us. Unfortunately, when we first opened the living room door it fell off its hinges - luckily no one was hurt but potentially dangerous and we had to use the chairs to hold it in place for the rest of our stay. We’d paid a sizeable £250 deposit and had anxiety regarding whether money would be taken off because of this (thankfully it wasn’t but I really do believe that before charging a damage deposit it should be ensured that there is no significant prior damage). The quality of sleep was also poor, with squeaky, uncomfortable beds and transparent white blinds with a small mesh curtain in the rooms that let all of the light in. I feel bad writing a neutral review as the house has potential and with improvement this could be a fantastic place to say, but we wouldn’t return due to these issues.

Love finding such a gem in Nottingham. In a lovely quiet area and the house is big enough for a group. Felt like I was away on a holiday not away for work and that’s what made my stay great!

Superb

The property is fantastic, very comfortable and clean

There was a few issues with the shower tripping out. A guy came straight out to fix this but the problem was still there, difficult when you have 5 men all needing to use it daily.
