Idyllic spot in Antigua

Posada del Angel is absolutely wonderful! the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is so nice. I highly recommend it!

Superb

A little oasis in Antigua. The courtyard and the rooms were beautiful. We stayed for one night after doing the overnight volcano hike and it was perfect to relax and recuperate. A little luxury after a very strenuous couple of days. Very sweet and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast too.

The pool is not the best for swimming, but that doesn’t matter as you only need it to cool down once in a while.

Superb

Atmospheric boutique hotel. Rooms are shabby chic style. Wonderful patio with swimming pool. Breakfast is ok. Good location, Nice rooftop. 5 minutes walking to the main plaza.

Toilet needs an upgrade.

highlight of our trip to antigua

wonderful atmosphere, most tasty decoration, comfortable suite room, very quiet but still walking distance to the center. breakfast was ok; choices limited. very helpful and nice staff.

maybe the breakfast could have more choice.

Beautiful, peaceful and the staff was superb. Highly recommend.

Staying in Posada was like coming home to your own private sanctuary. The entire staff was excellent and the breakfast each day was delicious. Location was excellent. We truly felt welcomed each day. Its a must-stay in Antigua.

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer.

A great hotel for a holiday break.

Location was very convenient for local amenities. Room was very comfortable and a good size. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Would very happily stay again.

I really enjoyed my staying in this boutique hotel cozy and relaxing.

The bedroom coand the staff they are super welcoming and helpful.

The swimming pool was too cold.

Amazing and beautiful place

If you need anything talk to the staff they are very nice and friendly. If you plan to do activities during your stay, like hike volcano pacaya, mention it to the hotel so they can arrange it or help you with tips. I came to Guatemala with my friend for her birthday and they served us breakfast on the terrace and decorated the table. When you leave and come back you have to ring the doorbell and someone answers the door and welcomes you back to the hotel. Inside the hotel are so many beautiful things to see. The garden, the pool, the hangout room, the terrace, and your room (even up to the bathroom) are all beautiful.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Everything was perfect and comfortable.

beautiful landscaping…lovely breakfasts upstairs.

There was not a fan, so my room was a tad warm the first night. I slept with the window open the next night and it was fine.

This is one of the prettiest hotels I’ve stayed at combining visual charm with comfort.

This property is absolutely beautiful with friendly, attentive staff and delightful, large rooms (and bathrooms). We are so glad we stayed there and hope to come back.

Nothing, we liked everything. It would be nice if they had a few snacks available with the cocktails, like some chips.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The pool, roof terrace, and communal area are breathtaking. We had a wonderful one night stay and a delicious breakfast. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helped us book our shuttle bus for our onward journey.

From managers to housekeepers, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room was immaculate and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. There were lunch and dinner options within walking distance. The city of Antigua was beautiful and very interesting. I highly recommend this location.

The perfect haven for a stay in beautiful Antigua.

A 5-10 minute walk from the zocalo, this exquisitely put-together inn is comfortable, intimate, extremely well run, and a feast for the eyes, both inside and from the rooftop.

this is just the perfect hideaway. five minutes walk from the center of Antigua…everything at this hotel is tasteful - the furniture, the interior, the flowers…the staff is just amazing - very helpful with whatever, always friendly…we had the most amazing time…thank you!! ❤️

Peaceful tranquil oasis

This hotel is lovely. Behind the big doors you will find a little oasis with such friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the Mary Sue suite which was huge for two people. We loved the spa bath, the fire place, the comfy bed. Taking breakfast on the rooftop with a view of Agua volcano was magic. Don’t hesitate in booking here!
