A bright stay in Brighton

We had an exceptionally good stay. The room was comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The owners were gentle and friendly. Little touches like chocolates, water, coffee and bathrobes were much aporeciated. The breakfast was delicious with the owners happy to accommodate when it comes to dietary requirements. The location is brilliant and central.

It was really relaxing comfortable stay in central location. Kind and helpful hosts. The room was clean and cosy, also breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend!

Absolutely outstanding

Myself and my partner stayed for the weekend as we had a wedding in Brighton. From when we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and both the owners took the time to chat to us. The location was superb, atmosphere was calm and relaxed due to the owners approach. I can see why they have won the brighton breakfast award 2022/2023 it was outstanding. We will most certainly be returning here again. Although there is not a parking area you are supplied ay your request for a £10 permit which lasts 24 hours

Being in a central position was good, parking not easy but I eventually found a spot.Owners helpful

Pleasant room, nice breakfast.

TV channels did not work....only a couple worked. As I was by myself at night I was in the room and wanted to watch tv..but very limited reception

I have travelled all over the world so it is so nice when you accidentally find a little gem.

Location is great for walking all around Brighton and many of the frequent buses stop nearby. Hosts attention to detail is excellent. Breakfast freshly cooked and good quality.

The location, very close to the beach and the pier, the amazing breakfast cooked to order, the lovely owners Simon and Richard, and the beautiful victorian details.

The staff, the location, the food, the room were fantastic

Parking. It is advertised with parking, but that is really just a permit you have to pay an additional £10 for and just gives you an approximate zone….IF you can find a space, which in Brighton is a bloody joke.

Great hosts

Very welcoming hosts, great breakfast choices and nice extras such as chocolates and large bottle of water in room. Great value and excellent location.

We had a room on the top floor and the bathroom was very tiny, ok for a couple of nights but you would want to choose a bigger room if staying longer.

Great location, amazing breakfasts, lovely room, Richard and Simon have literally thought of everything and all bases are covered with the facilities and provisions. Great hosts for the second time and will be returning again next year.

I can not recommend Brightonwave highly enough. From booking this wonderful gem the communication was faultless. Richard and Simon are so welcoming and professional and nothing seems to be a bother. The rooms are a lovely size and come very well equipped. The location is very close to the pier and I will most definitely be back to stay here. Thank you both for a wonderful stay

Everything was good, location, comfort, facilities & great breakfast. Lovely room, with everything we needed. Richard & Simon were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend & stay again.

Home away from home

Located minutes from the pier and the town centre, the hotel was everything one could wish for. Beautiful room, excellent food, wonderful hosts and attention to home comfort details.

Lovely Place

Loved the cozy room, perfect for one person.

Bathroom sink was the size of my hand or maybe a little larger, so I kept dropping water on the floor, but that wasn’t an issue so much to make me not stay there again! I really liked this place. I still don’t like being treated differently because I’m a solo traveler and I was. Oh, you’re alone? Please go sit in the corner then. Some of us solo travelers would prefer not to travel alone all the time, but we have to and we don’t want to be reminded of the fact that we are the only ones without someone else.

We are booking again for next year but will choose a larger room on a lower floor. We are really looking forward to our

helpful, friendly owners. fantastic location, good facilities, very clean. Lovely choice of breakfast, which was all well cooked and tasty.

we chose a small double which would be fine for a short stay but not a longer holiday, limited storage and a bit of a squeeze. Our room was very warm, if we opened the window overnight the seagulls woke us, however a fan was provided as standard which we used and solved the problem. The stairs are narrow with several floors but no lift.

Excellent and would recommend for a short break to Brighton, could not fault the accommodation.

Owners very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good quality and room excellent. Very well located for The Lanes and beach. Can not fault the accommodation and would recommend. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Brighton.

Only negative is there is no parking (which is very common in Brighton) so we paid for a parking space via another website. When we checked in, the owner did mention he had a parking voucher but we did not realize this until it was too late and not sure what the voucher entitled you to, I presume money off parking in a local car park.

Tastefully decorated, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast. The house throughout is clean and tidy. The location is ideal for what Brighton has to offer. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
