I had a great stay!

Beautiful and spacious room, super comfy big bed, tasteful décor throughout the whole hotel. I slept really well, not a noise in the room. The staff were super friendly and affable, special mention to Daniel and Victoria at reception as well as to the lovely bar staff. I had a great stay!

Love this property great location lovely staff

We booked 2 deluxe rooms for 4 people double bed & single bed in each room adjoining door 4 girls I slept on double bed my friend slept in single bed … my friend came into the room after me and not to disturb me she got changed in bathroom and got into bed in the sat only to dicover the next day that the bed she had gotten into was covered in blood , someone else’s blood , so the bed had not been changed and the blood was some one else’s she was & still is in shock .. we got both rooms refunded by hotel but it has really really disturbed us all … not good at all

FABULOUS

Loved the hotel , have been before hence why booked again. The staff this time were fantastic on the desk (Jimmy and David) , I left review on trip advisor also. I will be back and so will my friends. Great location, comfy rooms which are very clean and great breakfast. Can't say a negative thing about maldron newcastle.

Great stay in Newcastle

The staff was very informative about things to see and places to eat. Also very appreciative of us staying there.

Good location but no WIFI is unacceptable for modern hotel

Good food both breakfast and evening meal. Friendly attentive staff in the restaurant and bar. Nice clean room.

I arrived back after a late meeting and the night porter was on which meant the front door was locked so I had to press the bell.. Outside there were 3/4 people begging for money and cigarettes whilst drinking alcohol.I genuinely thought I was going to be robbed. I had to press the bell 4 times before the door opened. I expressed my concern to reception and went to bed. It's a city centre location so you have to take the good with the bad but the hotel needs to help itself.

Breakfast is good

The housekeeping is terrible. We found disgusting spots on toilet once we checked in. Dirts are everywhere even on the tissue box… The green light of air conditioner could not be turned off. Too light to sleep.

Requested a Wheelchair room, and got a very nice sized room and bathroom, and bells and whistles. Staff very helpful in restaurant, even during the Breakfast rush.

Only couple of moans was AC locked down to reception, and poor water pressure, again a common fault in Hotels theses days, also Guest service App did not work in Hotel, and Tv very basic channels even in this digital age.

one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, we will definitely be back. just amazing x

The room was exactly like the pictures, everything was perfectly placed, clean and organised. The hotel is in the PERFECT location, walking distance to everything you might need. The staff are really helpful and it was a quick and easy check in.

we didn’t try the breakfast as we had an early train so don’t have much bad to say about it but this is the only thing we couldn’t really comment on though.
