My room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast room, was clean, the staff very friendly, the food was very nice, a charming place to stay right in the centre of Rye,.

Wonderful staff. Sarah, the owner is delightful. My room was light, airy, with an extremely comfortable bed and lovely en suite. Had lunch and breakfast there and can highly recommend the food - enormous breakfast, great crab sandwiches, good choice of reasonably priced wine by the glass or bottle. Lovely views from the restaurant terrace.
This is such a friendly place, with great music in the bar! All the staff are utterly lovely.

Spacious comfortable room
Access on arrival - keysafe sticky and difficult to read

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. One of the members of staff, Ian, was also particularly helpful- sending me instructions for a late check-in. The location was perfect- a 5 minute walk from where we needed to be. The cafe linked to the guest house was also lovely.
We felt the price was quite high, considering that breakfast wasn't included.
Also, noise travels quite well between the rooms. This wasn't really an issue for us, the other guests were not noisy and we were mostly out but we could hear the people above us moving around very clearly.

Was close to several car parks. plenty of choice for breakfast & cooked fresh for you.
Room was clean and tidy.
Unfortunately didn't do evening meals. Didn't realise that if you book via booking .com you have to pay for your breakfast but you do get 10% off. If you book direct the price includes breakfast.

Nothing really - however the wall paper in room 3 is slightly creepy, but that is just me being verrrrry picky

Layout of the hotel; a refurbished old house - very characteristic and very well set-up and managed. Breakfast was superb and staff very personable. Will return when in that part of the UK.
