Location was excellent for the wedding we attended at The Bell. The accommodation and gardens were beautiful, parking was easy, and the host left us a welcome pack which was very much appreciated.

Location was super for us
Slight noise from floorboards above but it is a wooden structure. The quality of the carpentry and fittings was excellent. Very clean and beautifully decorated with small touches like fresh flowers in a case and freshly baked bread, eggs, bacon, butter and milk all in kitchen on arrival.

Gorgeous place to stay, super clean and well provisioned. We stayed for a work trip and was quiet and self-contained, would absolutely recommend.
Not entirely clear instructions on how to get in/pick up the key at first, but other than that no complaints at all.

Loved the classic cars.
The entrance sign is very difficult to see at night.
However with the instructions from Anne was quick to turn into the drive.

The location was great for exploring Sussex and Kent. It was very clean and comfortable and we were welcomed by the owner and left fresh bread, cakes, milk, bacon, eggs and butter which were greatly appreciated. The surrounding garden was beautiful.
In our particular unit, the bath was a bit slippery, even with a safety mat, and people with mobility issues could have problems stepping into the bath as it had a high side.
The eating area was up a small narrow staircase to a very small area.

Location perfect as very close to our son’s wedding venue. Hosts allowed us to leave bags & collect key early to fit in with wedding.
Lovely bread & cakes & other extras left for us. Peaceful & quiet location.
We could hear footsteps from upstairs but this had been stated in the details so it was not a surprise - the building is old. In a perfect world it would have been nice not to hear but didn’t stop our stay from being enjoyable.

Beautiful location and great central spot to use as a base for exploring this area of Kent. Really friendly hosts who offered local recommendations for days out and restaurants, with the added bonus of classic car chat for the enthusiast in the family. Accommodation spotlessly clean, comfortable and homely with a well equipped kitchen. The bread and breakfast items were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

A warm and welcoming stay in a beautiful location. Comfy living areas and a modern bathroom made for a great stay!
Anne provided a freshly made loaf and some breakfast supplies which was lovely and having a little tour of the beautiful classic cars they had in the garage was a real pleasure.

Modern and charming self catering room/apartment that's part of a large barn conversion. Facilities include kitchen/living area, small upstairs dinning area, two large bedrooms and large, modern, shower and bathroom. Plenty of parking and delightful landscaped gardens that back onto fields. Location is a 15 minutes walk from the lovely village of Ticehurst. So you're but a stroll away from the famous Bell (voted South East Pub of the Year) and 45 minutes walk to the beautiful and scenic Bewl Water lake. A very nice touch is the freshly baked bread, butter, eggs, bacon and cakes that were provided for breakfast on the first day,
Only very minor point to note is that the lovely hosts (Anne & Ian) live above the room. So you can occasionally hear the sound of the odd floorboard creaking, but this didn't affect our enjoyment or cause any problems for us personally. Anne & Ian also have another room for rent that's away from the main house, if you want complete seclusion and quiet. Basic toiletries (soap, shower gel, toilet roll) and towels are provided. So you will need to bring your own toothpaste and lotions.

The host left bacon eggs milk and cakes which was lovely.
Nothing springs to mind.
