Nice secluded getaway right on the water. Exactly what we needed.

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and as advertised in photos. We loved the quiet outdoor space and use of the kayaks and dock!

We came down for a swim meet at St. Marys College and wanted to be somewhere more relaxing than a hotel. This property was perfect. It was super clean and the kitchen was stocked so I was able to cook healthy meals for the family every day instead of having to eat out. My son wants to come back when its warmer so he can fish.

Stay was better than we expected. Very comfortable home and beautiful views. Hope to book for full week next 4th.

My son is stationed at PAX and daughter lives in Virginia. My me my husband, father and German Shepard we live in Ohio. So for Christmas we all came together to celebrate. This place was perfect! Large enough for 6 people and all the kitchen supplies we would need to cook Christmas dinner. They even had a Christmas tree and a few decorations up. We will be back during the warm weather to enjoy the water, fishing and crabbing. Thanks Phil!

Beautiful area
Perfect get a way on the bay. Boat ramp is beautiful and easily accessible to fishing areas we wanted to explore. Lots of grassy land to play on with a toddler a well as a gravel path for walking. House set up was great for 4 adults and 1 toddler!
Many bugs, flies etc but you are next to a cornfield on farm land so it's normal to expect- no bother at all!
Would highly recommend and will be back next year!

We so enjoyed our stay on a working farm right on the water - so much open space!
Never saw the owners, think they were house across corn field - lots of privacy.
House is cozy and comfortable. Cute back deck and fire pit to just sit and take in the views.
We boated to beach peninsula, tubed, kayaked/SUP, crabbed/fished (caught couple crabs for early in season), checked out Point Lookout but it was at capacity and just relaxed.
No cute towns nearby but easy drive to Solomons. Packed too much food so didn’t ck out any local restaurants, sure crabs & oysters would be good eating.

My dog and I were the guests for this trip. After a grinding year + of working nonstop, I wanted to do my annual get away. The accommodations in the house are great. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, AC worked well, as did the appliances. The kitchen was stocked with what I needed and the details provided by Phil and Stephanie regarding the property, what to do in the area and check-out process were very easy to read. The outdoor scenery is even better. Gorgeous views of the bay with a nice sunset and blood moon the night I was there. You can fish and go kayaking off of their pier too. Would highly recommend to anybody that wants a quiet, picturesque getaway and are interested in water activities. I will bring my family next time. I gave 4 out of 5 stars for cleanliness only because it would have been nice if the garage was swept. I understand it is a country setting and bugs are unavoidable. Inside was definitely clean. Thanks.

We LOVED staying here! If offered all the amenities needed for a fun time with family in a beautiful, comfortable setting. My favorite moments were spent just sitting in the rocker on the back porch and enjoying the view! Will definitely consider renting again for future family get togethers or a romantic getaway with my husband.

We were there in April and it was a little cold and windy. But the rental was very nice and the view was exquisite! We were baffled by the satellite tv as it kept changing channels on us! lol! It took a couple of times for us to see the pop up asking us if we would like to continue watching the channel. We got a chuckle out of it because we thought we had lost our minds!! You never know at our age what new thing is setting in!! Lol!!

The property was very dirty. I was making dinner for my family, boiling a chicken and the steam from the chicken loosened the grease and it was dripping in my meal. We were not provided with any kitchen towels and only 1 sponge that had been used. During my stay I had to buy kitchen rags, laundry detergent, trash bags and wash clothes. Each room received 2 towels for the week, with no laundry detergent to wash.

Kayaks were a plus for a morning excursion. Easy check in & out process. Quiet, remote, & relaxing

Really homey dwelling with dock, including everything you would need to fish, crab, or boat on a protected creek. Bald eagles and herons were everywhere providing a beautiful scene with sunsets even more beautiful. House was clean, and fully equipped for any needs, including spices and normal household equipment for everyday use. Great vacation in a remote atmosphere, which also can be viewed as Covid proof.

This is a lovely property great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet outdoors. The owners have provided all the needed comforts like outdoor furniture, crab steamer, and gas grill. The firepit is great and having the private pier was the best part as the grand kids learned to fish and crab. We booked a lighthouse cruise with Captain Phil of Fish the Bay Charters. The weather and sunset views were exceptional and Captain Phil provided a history lesson on the lighthouses in the area as well as changes happening in the Chesapeake Bay. We had a great time and plan to go back again next summer and will be doing some fishing with Captain Phil soon. Fish the Bay Charters have a variety of boating/fishing options available if you're in the area.

The description about the property was perfect. Loved the sunsets. The house is very comfortable. We spent most of our time kayaking, fishing and cornhole. Too soon for big crabs in the creek. The room in the garage is perfect if it is windy and you still want to be outside. We also went Rock fishing with Captain Phil and Chesapeake Charm. He is such a great captain. Very patient and helpful. We caught close to our limit and we were all happy. We will definitely go back this fall.
