It was very close to the S and U train stations, as well as a huge market area within 5 min walking distance. The staff were friendly. Towels, hand and body soap were provided, as well as cleaning utensils for the apartement. The bathroom was nice and clean. In the kitchen, the amount of pots and pans was fine, and there was a collinder. The fridge is adequately sized, but there is no freezer. For a short stay it was more than fine.
The kitchen utensils were a bit lacking and old. Plates and eating utensils were from different sets and did not have the same sizes. The provided knives were cheap and bent when I tried to cut onions. There were also no scissors, and in combination with the knife quality it was a bit difficult to open things. The bedroom and kitchen were cleaned only superficially: while the floor and surfaces were clean, edges and tops of cabinets were dusty or dirty. I would also recommend washing the dishes before using them.

Location
Unclean, staff (except one) were very rude, asked for towels that never came, asked for handsoap that came 2 days later, can hear all movement from the corridor in the room

Close to some important attractions. The restaurants around the hotel were really good. Particularly the Cafe au Lait but do book a table from beforehand. it's always so busy.
The room was a bit too narrow for two adults. You have some stairs before and after you take a lift.

Everything was fine.

Location. Spacious shower room and efficient shower (though lacking thermostatic control)
Inadequate kitchen facilities in my apartment. No instructions for the hotplate and microwave. I was able to use the hotplate once in 6 days. Electrical supply to kitchen equipment involved unplugging and plugging a the -way block which was on the floor . As I have limited mobility, I had to wedge it on the work top. No means of brewing coffee.
Receptionist didn't seem aware that the half-landing lift access, usual in Berlin old houses, in this one lacked access between 1st and second floor. My apartment is on the second floor so to descend I had to go up a flight or walk down 4 flights.
While the apartment was cleaned regularly, the stairs, landing and corridors were worn out and appeared a bit grubby.
I visit Berlin regularly and this will not be my choice in future.

good location, easy access to conference centre
neighbours were very loud and property smelled like smoke

We booked 3 rooms. All the rooms were dusty and smelly. They smelt of cigarette smoke and old dusty, mouldy carpet. Two of our party had an asthma attack after spending 2 hours in the rooms. We had to move to a new location. The other two in our party stayed but the kitchenette sink in their room leaked to the rooms underneath so they had to be moved to another room. Security is also a worry for the ground floor apartments. It is in a rough area of Berlin and there was no security that the ground floor apartment was safe. We notified the facility immediately of the problems. I sent an email requesting a refund for 2 of the 3 rooms we booked. No one replied until I sent the third email. Their response was that if someone has allergies they should not book hotels with carpet. Well, we have had carpet in many the other hotels we had stayed in and we had no problems at all, obviously because they were clean! No refund was given, not even an apology.

Nice place - underground in 2 minutes, a lot of restaurants in that area, comfortable room: kitchen, big fridge, big bed, comfortable pillows and blanket, hot water
Very, very loud!! Especially, if you want to open a window (it was summer time), you will hear everything and everybody, for example building in 7 o'clock in the morning. But even if you close the window - you will hear the voice of the water from the toilet from upstairs :( Or the baby crying from neighbors room. I really enjoyed all those rooms facilities, but I couldn't good sleep as well.

Location quite convenient for public transport
Room heater does not work in summer. Room is at ground floor and was very cold, especially during night. I complained for it, but answer was it is common in Germany to make the heaters defunct. Another thing is they take 100 euro as security deposit even if you have already paid the full room charges while booking. Ofcourse you receive it back at the end of your stay. But I found it but illogical.

Good location especially close to S bahn and U bahn. The apartment really was very comfortable and had all we needed.
There was some smell when we entered the room.
3.2
it was not clean and it smelled op smoke/cigarettes.

Lot of space but under-utilised.
Staff was friendly.
Too far from centre, I got confused when choosing. The building and rooms are not in the best state of service. Ans the worst, during the entire stay Internet did work. Besides, after booking I learnt that a 100 euros caution was due.

Fantastic location directly opposite S Bahn station, clean apartment and quiet area. Great restaurants in the area also. Great apartment for families with kids.

Nothing. The whole place was just bad
There was a whole colony of ants in the kitchen drawer inside a cup of sugar. When I asked the receptionist to remove them they sent a guy with ant poison basically saying he can't use it because we need to be out of the room for at least a few ours. After my friends drove back home I told the receptionist again to remove the ants since I was out of the apartment that day for at least 5 hours. First he tried to have me do it myself!?!?!? But then agreed on some of the workers doing it. When I came back the ants were still there and that's just unacceptable. Never again
