The property was nicely kept, and the staff were friendly. We really enjoyed having a lazy river to relax in.
We did not like the temperature in the room. It was a tad bit warm.

Our stay was wonderful! We were impressed with the food buffet and variety, restaurants and friendliness of staff. It was a welcoming resort in a beautiful location.
The downside was paying for oceanview on the second floor of Liek and receiving a garden view.
Also the rooms felt a bit dated.

The Steak House and French restaurants. Others not worthy.
- environment; no quiet areas
- no AC in restaurants or buffet
- telephone and light did not work in our room upon our arrival. Telephone was not fixed during our stay
- corridors dirty and full of leftovers
- staff was overwhelmed. Drinks were not brought to table on time. More than once we had to take them ourselves.
- difficulty in finding spots at the different swimming pools. The property was crowded.

The room was extremely outdated. The lights and the Jettub didn't work.
The resort is large but was unaccommodating with cart transportation. We were refused numerous times by the car drivers to get from one point to next point of the resort and we had a baby with us.
3.5
hospitality of staff and restaurant options
rooms weren’t cool enough and resort is too spread out and lots of walking. buffet food was sub par
3.5
The resort was all inclusive with several restaurants and wide food selection. Most of the staff at the restaurants were attentive. The resort had multiple pools with a lazy river and had daily activities including a dolphin show and nightly dance shows.
1. The hotel charged my visa card the first night stay upon reservation but did not keep records of charging me. When I checked in, I was charged the full price, double charging me for the first night. I had to provide evidence from my bank account of the first night charged on my credit card and e-mail my bank statement to the hotel. This process made my check-in take >30 minutes.
2. When we arrived in our room, we found the faucet pipe leaking with rags and cracked ceramic tiles on the floor. When we called the front desk, we were told that we would have to wait outside another 2 hours until 5pm while repairs were completed.
3. The Japanese restaurant had no open reservations for a week. One concierge told me to check back for cancellations. When I checked for cancellations, the next concierge said "no" without bothering to even check the computer reservations.

It’s a great resort. Our six year old loved the kids club. Food is generally good (plenty of choice). Most staff are kind and friendly
The wifi was unpredictable (unreliable if you need for work), the TVs in the sports bar are controlled from somewhere else by someone who doesn’t care if there are problems with the TVs (easily solved by giving the bartender the remotes)
4.5
Staff were amazing. Worked so hard. Always had a smile on their face. Aimed to please. Food was a 10 out of 5. Over the top. Buffets were amazing. There were also a large number of high end resturants to choice from that were exceptional. The property itself was beautiful.
The water at the beach was the biggest disappointment. Seaweed made it impossible to swim. Apparently this is a problem between May and September.

The staff was absolutely amazing! They made my stay incredible with their kindness, helpfulness and hospitality. A special mention goes to the entertainment team, namely Ricardo and Yayo ♥️, to Carlos from the French restaurant and José from the main buffet restaurant. The night shows had impressive performers/dancers. The room was quite spacious and comfortable.
The food in the main buffet restaurant wasn’t that good. It was mainly American fast food. The Italian as well as the French restaurant though were way better.
4.0
nice layout, lots of green and animals all around. place never feels overcrowded.
Food was good in general and staff is friendly and helpful. rooms are big enough for four comfortably
rooms are a bit outdated and noisy. Trash was dumped in the hallways by other guests.
Some things were clearly not the best quality. for instance no real orange juice or very mediocre (cheap) shampoo
3.0
nature environment, friendly staff
really dirty beach, trash and cigarrettes everywhere in the sand.... really sad, never saw anyone cleaning the beach
also much less sand than in previous years
water leaks in the room
Bathroom sub std, really old
Uncomfortable bed and pillows

Loved our stay!
Be prepared for long walks on the site. As for the a la carte options, go for the Japanese - otherwise stay with the buffet.
2.5
lazy river- but both the lazy river and quiet pool were milky and slimy this time.
I was only allowed one dinner reservation even after the concierge said we could have 4! don’t offer people more dinners when you can’t accommodate your guests.

Resort amenities are outstanding with so many activities- loved them all from lazy river and
Dolphinarium to archery, gun shooting and snorkeling. No other resorts are providing so many options. We loved the coffee shop and smoothie bar.
Great food with so much variety.
This is my second time in this resort and I am thinking to come again next year.
Our room had broken air conditioner and it took us 3 days to to sort it out with resort staff. All technical visits were useless until we insisted to move us to other unit .
A la carte restaurants are great but often the waitresses are not friendly - it would be nice to see a smile on their face.

Staff at the buffet was amazing and incredibly helpful. Congratulations!
Staff at Front Desk is not the nicest, though I couldn't say they were rude. Just not as nice as the rest of the staff

Loved the options for the meals - it was great to be able to eat near the pools and beach!
4.5
property beautifully kept, staff pleasant, bed comfy, room modern and immaculate, grounds extensive with many coati, spider monkeys, iguana and even small capybarra. Even though near capacity, wasn't crowded. Pools are immense, and lazy river long enough so there was no wait time. I was in the Makal building facing sea on top floor and thought it was worth the extra fee. Bldg about half block from sea with just jungle between. Was quite windy so sound of waves crashing on limestone rocky shore was pleasant.
Like most of the Mayan coastline, beaches are few and shore consists of limestone rock. At Sirenis, they have a small bay in which are some rocky outcroppings which would present good snorkeling. They do have sandy baeach, and the bay is protected by floating nets to catch the sargassum. But the wind brought enough to the coast that it overwhelmed the nets, making removal by a front end loader necessary. Disappointing, esp as I was not expected that in February. The resort is not near a town so going outside for any exploration nearby requires taxi. All the rates are predetermined and are high as a result of the monopoly; i.e., $45 to Akumal; $95 PP to Cancun airport. It is quite a distance (took almost 2 hrs) to airport because of construction so for just one, that's reasonable. But for a family, that's a lot. It's probably a half mile to entry gate so the bellboy calls taxi waiting outside somewhere, so no pvt negotiating.

The beach was nice
The front desk check in people could have been much nicer and helpful
Only 4 of the 8 restaurants where open and the 4 open 3 of them were booked 5-7 days ahead
The facility needs some serious repairs and renovations

this property is absolutely beautiful! and they have everything you could need to enjoy time away
I wish there was 1 kid free zone! but other than that it’s great!
3.5
great location, good food
staff tries to sell an upgrade indirectly, rooms need maintenance, most of the elevators don’t work

The food I found was better than other all inclusive resorts we've stayed in. I do think there are too many "fancy" options at buffets like raw fish-looking stuff that is probably expensive to make and doesn't look that appealing to me. Maybe some people like it. The reservation-only restaurants were very good.
The pools are beautiful and there are lots of fun options for kids. The beach is also very safe and swimmable and the snorkeling was great.
Our first night at this resort was in a room that I think was one that they put guests in when they have no other rooms available. The tub leaked all over the floor and the room smelled like mildew. To be fair, we had only booked this two days in advance due to a change in our destination. However, they put us in a much better room for the remainder of our trip, which was very nice and spacious for our family of five. There is an older and a newer section of the resort, I recommend staying in the newer section.
It does seem like the whole resort is a bit short staffed tho, we lost a few toys at a restaurant and never did get them back. It would've been nice if a staff member could simply have picked them up and brought them to our room. Also, anytime we had any questions or needs and talked to the staff about it, they were very helpful but did push the time-share thing which is kind of annoying.

The people are amazing. They grounds are excellent. Buffets are really good.
Room wasn't ready for occupancy. Sink was plugged. No bedding for "sofa bed" Furniture was disgusting and wouldn't have passed a black light test. Best part was the shower drain that was "fixed" on the 2nd day. Could only do 30 seconds at a time. A la carte restaurants ŵere a joke.
Not worth the thousands paid. . Won't be back or recommend. Better value for the money elsewhere.

The beach, the food, the drinks, service and room all wonderful
The sales pitch to become a member
4.0
the staff is doing what they can with little to no help from management. I believe their “great” reviews are skewed.
several of the main women toilets (lobbies, pools, main halls) were spilling out or leaking under the bowl creating long rivers of waste water down the halls and door ways.
the maintenance was extremely slow at correctly the problem.
