- Excellent location, right on the beach and 20' walk from the ruins (a bit far from center, but easily accessible by taxi)
- Spacious, clean & comfortable rooms in the middle of the jungle (very relaxing)
- Friendly staff
- No sunbeds installed on the beach (probably due to low season), forcing us to pay a sunbed at another beach club
- There is no real door / separation between bathroom and room hence limited privacy

La actitud del personal
La limpieza del lugar, la lluvia se metió al cuarto, había moho en la regadera y la colcha tenía una mancha cuando entre fueron claros en lo estrictos que eran con esas cosas y había manchas en el piso y paredes.

Free breakfast every morning was amazing- Juan and Victoria always took great care of me! The cabin was beautiful, clean, had great AC, location was great- right in the middle of everything, so I could walk or bike without having to taxi everywhere. I like that they had free yoga every weekday morning, as well as bike rentals at the property. Oh and both restaurants were SO GOOD. It rained multiple days when I was there and I was thankful I didn’t have to venture far to get the best food.
The only thing I can say negative about it was that when I arrived the pool was closed for cleaning and remained so for a few days, so I didn’t really get to enjoy it, but this was not a big deal at all as I’d rather be at the beach anyway.

This was perfection. The room (beach house) had an amazing view over the ocean and tropical plants. Right from the terrace you walk straight onto the beach and into the ocean. Room was beautiful. Shower with a view over the ocean. Plunge pool. Hammock. The on site restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast (included) and lunch there. In 15 minutes you can walk along the sea to the ruins of Tulum. This hotel is so relaxed, quiet and beautiful. Everyone working there was very friendly. We didn’t want to leave.
Nothing.

Located right on beach . Good actual breakfast ! Nice in jungle
No door for bathroom, kinda nasty using restroom with girl .
No mention of a daily resort fee, you figure that would be included when booking . Plus a daily national park fee, if ur hotel is located within the park

The location, the room, the breakfast. Our little casa had a deck and hammock. It was mostly private and it was a great space to enjoy the outdoors but away from the other guests. Plus it encased in gorgeous vegetation! Also the included breakfast far exceeded our expectations! You get a choice of 9 full breakfast options with homemade bread and jam, coffee and fresh juice. We were pleasantly surprised it was more than a little continental breakfast, and it was delicious!
The beach club is too pricey compared to other clubs nearby that offer happy hour deals and/or specials. Plus beers are constantly "just finished." It would have been nice to have a beer by the ocean but every time we asked they were finished for the day, forcing us to by a much more expensive cocktail. Not the worst thing, but not our favorite either.

The hotel itself is so beautiful. Beachfront and breakfast with great views. Lovely sand paths from reception to restaurant and rooms.
Our room and the views from the terrasse was incredibly nice!
The ruins are in walking distance along the beach.
The guy at the reception was very kind and helpful.
There are not many Restaurants open for dinner. The dinner at the japanese hotel-restaurant could have been better. It is an expensive area.
There is no fridge in the rooms.

Great beach. Excellent rooms. Truly fantastic staff especially the concierge Alejandro and the front desk staff Carlos and Hector. And, great restaurants.

The facilities were fantastic. Our room was comfortable, clean, and large. The beach facilities were amazing. Our family was happy with the facilities.
The front desk staff were not accommodating. We had a very early morning excursion on December 24 and were going to miss breakfast. The staff offered to send us with box lunches of sandwiches and an apple. We were thrilled. However, most of our family keeps kosher and we asked if vegetarian sandwiches were possible. The front desk staff assured my sister in law and me on three separate occasions that vegetarian would be fine. They were sure they could make 6 boxes because that request was made before 5 pm. I checked in at 4:45 pm and they were not sure they would be able to accommodate 3 of us. That was fine with us but they assured us that the vegetarian sandwiches were no problem. We ended up receiving 9 box lunches that contained ham sandwiches, no fruit, and nothing else. No one could eat the ham because of dietary restrictions so we had to throw them out. Big waste! Then, when we tried to resolve the issue with the staff, they made a lot of excuses but never apologized. Our big problem was that they assured us three times we would receive vegetarian sandwiches and we were given ham. If that was going to be an issue, they should have told us from the beginning. We were hungry all day and our package included breakfast.
Also, the restaurant/bar staff were rude. We decided to eat at the Japanese restaurant the evening of December 24. My husband made a reservation for 9 people for 8 pm and specifically chose a special table with the manger. When we arrived on time, they had given our table away and they didn't have room for us, even with a reservation. When we asked, they had no reason and tried to send us away. After much negotiation in Spanish, which I speak, they set up a table for us in the breakfast area but it was not what we requested. There were also issues with the drinks. However, the food was delicious.

This place is paradise, an experience I'll remember forever. Friendly staff, amazing hut on the beach front. Softest sand & the the best bit is the beach has hardly anyone.

Beautiful location and set up. We had a beachfront room and felt very spoilt.
The staff were lovely and the daily yoga was a bonus

I had to say even though our experience wasn’t good thanks to getting intoxicated after eating at the restaurant KOGURA, the staff was amazing and very helpful.
Specially Alejandro .
Well , after getting intoxicated from eating at KOGURA not only me but my girlfriend too, I think that’s something you need to really pay attention to .
Specially in slow season where food doesn’t go out as fast and probably stays for a long time in coolers and freezers .
My girlfriend saw the kitchen staff microwaving the good before coming out to our table .

very friendly and welcoming staff! Alejandro was amazing! I lost an item in the room and he went above and beyond to return the item to me.
It was simple and clean

The property was absolutely gorgeous
it was located far from the main stop and there was only one entrance, so taxis would have to go around through the highway to get to the entrance.
1.5
Overall the place seems very gloomy, uncomfortable, overpriced and in a terrible location.
Room while spacious has a very strange, impractical Layout.
Toilet is open space without door ... Why would anyone do that?
The "jungle view" room has some completely unusable small backyard with random plants and a wall - big joke.
There is no place in the room to chill out like a couch or some comfortable chairs, even though there is a lot of space.
Location of the hotel is absolutely terrible. Inaccessible and far from the night life. if you do t have a car rented don't even think of it as the taxis are more expensive than in Paris. You pay 45 USD for a 10 min ride to the downtown Tulum or Hotel Zone with nightlife..
Maybe someone else likes this kind of environment, but I don't.
So I tried to stay for the first night only and cancel the remainder of the stay to move to another hotel. I submitted the change request through booking.com which was unable to resolve the situation with the hotel apparently due to an unresponsive manager (note: the receptionist was trying to be helpful).

We spent 3 days in this hotel and had a nice time off and relax.
First, some staff member are just great (we say some as these are the people we had really interaction with): from our point of view, the Poc-na experience would not be the same at all without ALEJANDRO! Thanks again for everything and just blessing us with your nice smile and support throughout our stay.
Another shout out goes to our dear Hector and finally to the great yoga teacher Allix.
It is very easy to communicate with the hotel as they will reach out to you on WhatsApp and provide all info you may need.
The Mexican restaurant of the hotel is nice, too bad that it closes so early at night. The Japanese one was just okayish.
The breakfast was good and tasty (breakfast is at the Mexican restaurant) but the waiters were not always great but it is also due to the fact that they could not really speak English (excepted Emmanuel who was very good)
We were upgraded to a room with sea view, thank you again. The room was dreamy. And sleeping with the sound of the waves is just priceless.
The hotel itself is located in the jungle and is the mix of the hotel, the jungle and the beach is very beautiful.
We will hopefully be coming back to this place. We greatly recommend.
perhaps the fact that the free yoga classes were not everyday… we would have appreciated to be told so before arriving or at the time of our booking.
Also the yoga class starts at 9.30…. perhaps they could add an option for an earlier class? However we understood that the schedule we had was the low season one.

loved the beach and the covered beds on the beach. Loved the breakfast with the fresh juices each morning. Enjoyed the food overall. Room was quiet and peaceful and clean.
I tried to book an excursion many different times and had trouble getting timely responses. There was no shuttle or pick up at the hotel for these. There should be instructions on how to enter a car through the ruins to get to the hotel. We were very confused coming in.

I really enjoyed the calming friendly vibe that this property and staff shower you with. If Cancun is too busy for you... This may be a better choice. Thank you, Horge, Antonio, Vicki, Hector, Alex, and everyone else who works this property that made our visit so enjoyable. The proximity of our beach suite to the beach and services was amazing. We could be at the beach within a minute yet were set into the trees just enough so it still felt private and very secure.
Our suite didn’t have insect screens for the windows that opened. However, the air conditioner worked great and is so quiet that you can still hear the ocean through the closed windows and French doors. So it was really no problem.

We finally found the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful beach of Tulum without the bumping club music into all hours of the night! Cannot say enough great things about our experience at Poc na and cannot wait to visit again. We traveled with our two young girls (4 & 1 years-old) and had a wonderful time enjoying the beach and biking to and from town. The staff were all wonderful and so sweet with the kids and the included breakfast was a total bonus.

The most beautiful beachfront location amongst the jungle. It was perfect for lounging by the day and stargazing by the night. Not close to the town nor the Hotel Zone (you'll need to cab), but this was exactly what we liked about it. Beach felt cleaner and more pristine than any other. Service was also lovely - thank you Alejandro and Enrique for making us feel welcome even before check-in! Food/ drink at Ramon and Cleo was also delicious!
