The entrance of the hotel is cosy, the short distances in the hotel are nice. The parking right next to the hotel is ok, however the parking spaces were really cramped and crowded and misused by the customers of the next door restaurant.
The room was spacious, however this is what you expect from a hotel room for 160 Euros per night. The bed was futon like on the floor, comfortable, but difficult to get up again. The bath tub was free standing in the bathroom and it fitted actually two people. The shower was a little bit more awkward, since you had to go into the bathtub to take a shower. The bathroom became very wet when you showered and and getting out of the tub was challenging, especially when you are a little bit older. The room as well as the complete hotel are showing its age and the door lock to the room was still mechanical and very shaky. An intruder would not have any issues with this kind of door lock.
The breakfast was very simple, had not a lot of choices and was not enough for me. The only meat option was bacon, everything else was vegetarian or vegan. On public holidays, as today, the 05.02.2024, no breakfast is served at all. The staff did not tell us when we arrived, so we had a little surprise when we went to our breakfast today. However they gave us 300 MXN Peso back in order to go somewhere else for breakfast.
The pool was very small indeed and, since being surrounded by walls, the sun was not long to see in the pool.
The parking lot, as I mentioned before, was next to the hotel, but tiny, difficult to get in and difficult to get out. Furthermore it was misused by nearby restaurant guests, making the available space even scarcer. The hotel staff did not seem to bother.

Lovely room, and a nice traditional breakfast. Location was outside the centre (20min walk), but it was nice to be able to explore another area of the city.
Cute pool area, nice and relaxing.
It's right on a main road, so a little loud.

The staff at the hotel was amazing. They made my stay 10 times better. I’m very grateful for how attentive the staff was during my stay.

Amazing staff, incredible food, and super convenient location to get a bit away from Centro.
A little noise in the area, on a fairly main street with some late night construction on one day.

The staff were very attentive and kind. I ran into quite a few issues with my room, and they were immediately available and did their best to help. Bar/restaurant staff were extremely kind and polite as well.
I decided to spend more money on a larger room, thinking it would also be nicer, but it turned out to be in worse condition than the standard room that my friend paid less for.
I did find a cockroach in the bathroom when I arrived, but the staff immediately did their best to clean and treat the area. Though no discount on the room was able to be given, I was offered a free bottle of champagne. I was also offered the opportunity to switch rooms when another became available. All this being said, given the geographic location/climate, I can't completely fault the hotel for this.
Additionally, I found stains and hairs on the sheets, had issues with the cable not working, toilet not flushing, and the AC unit was very loud and made loud cracking noises (though did its job with cooling the room).
Overall, for what I spent, I feel I should have had a better experience.

Adorable little hotel. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. Refreshingly cool (but not too cold) pool. Just a short walk from the center. We stayed in a room with a little balcony overlooking the cute restaurant.
I hesitate to say this is a negative because the cooks clearly take time to individually prepare a tasty and nicely presented breakfast - but guests should be aware for planning purposes that breakfast can take awhile. If you have an excursion or other activity that requires you to be ready before 8:45 or 9, you may want to request a breakfast box.

The staff were great and the pool was a nice touch to relax by. The bed was really comfortable and room cleaned well each day.
we were really excited to stay here and overall were disappointed. They kindly moving us from our first room because it was cramped and dark and was really loud by the restaurant. the rooms are quite run down and pictures must be quite old. location isn’t great but we didn’t mind the walk.

Very friendly personnel.
Very comfy beds.
Food and drinks were very good.
Nice little pool area.
Better to take a taxi to the city centre than walking there.

We loved the design of the hotel and staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and well equiped. Breakfast selection was big and everything was delicious. Location was ok, a bit far from the centre but in very nice and quiet residential area. We didnt mind 15 mins walk.

Option of the pool drew us in but it was in the shade for most of the day and quite cold in the morning.
We stayed in a superior room with a jacuzzi which we were very much looking forward to using. The cost of this room was also equal to the cost of a standard room for 2 nights. Upon arrival we went to use the jacuzzi but it did not work - there was no water flowing into the pipes. I informed the staff who tried to fix the issue but failed. I then went to take a hot shower and this also was not working. It is really not acceptable to pay over 5800 pesos for a night of accommodation and not be able to take a hot shower!
I informed the staff again and was told I would receive a refund for the night. They took my bank details and I have since only been paid 10% which is not level to the inconvenience caused. I have been contacting you but have received little response. I was very excited to stay here due to the positive reviews but sadly it was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a chic, well-designed, boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The onsite restaurant is quite good as well.
The property is on a high-traffic street, so it does get noisy. However, they provide ear plugs in the rooms and shutting the bathroom door also shut out the street noise. The hot water was initially unreliable but after talking to the front desk they fixed that for us.

Everything, from the moment we walked in, it was gorgeous, like a little Oasis. The bar and restaurant were stunning and the pool area beautiful. The rooms lovely with a huge bed and plenty of space. the staff were so accommodating and friendly and the food was an absolute highlight - some of the best we had…try the house enchiladas! It’s about a 15 minute walk from the centre so not far at all.
There was a bit of noise from the road in a morning and the shower was a bit temperamental but honestly we loved it so much that we didn’t care!

It was cute. Quite minimalistic, which we like. The restaurant is perfect for breakfast with a nice bar area also.
We didn’t like that our shower was an issue little to no hot water and no water pressure. Mostly dripping water. We were in room 5. There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom. Similar to a moldy smell, but hopefully not that.

In general the property looks fine, stylish, modern and has a good restaurant/bar in it. It’s fair to say that their boutique hotel concept is well thought but very poorly executed. Something that I really like was the room spaciousness, especially the ceilings that are super high.
Our stay was a disaster from day one. The main issue was that there was no water at the hotel. I was able to take a quick shower that day but with no water pressure at all and then from that moment the water was out. I told the guy in the reception and he said he was going to go check and let us know what was going on. Nothing happened. Then the next day in the morning there was still no water so I went again with the reception guy and he said he had already told the general manager but that she wasn’t replying him in Whatsapp. By the way, what’s the purpose of having a general manager if the person is never at the property and she doesn’t even checks her phone? Anyway, it was the same for 3 days in a row, they said that the plumber had already fixed the problem but we still had no water, so we decided to leave the hotel before considering that they couldn’t guarantee one of the most basic things that a hotel should provide. Besides that, we also had a problem with our parking space since they don’t actually have one but you park your car on a very complicated dead end alley. To be fair, they did help us solve that issue. Acknowledging all the trouble, the last night they sent us to the room some sort of desert and a couple drinks but that just made things worst. It’s a nice gesture but that doesn’t makes up for anything. We asked them for a partial refund and once again, the reception guy said that he didn’t know when the general manager would be back and that if we wanted a refund, we should call Booking.

Casa de arte is a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and the room and amenities are on point. They also offer a delicious breakfast.
We liked everything about the place. It is a bit further from the centro but it makes for a nice walk.

Lovely and attentive staff, great breakfast, modern design, refreshing plunge pool, cool
concept for a hotel.
The water pressure isn’t great for showers with intermittent hot water. About 30 mins out of central town so you feel a little away from the action and taxis are needed for a quick option.

very noisy place, if you want to rest, look somewhere else, the property has a restaurant with LOUD music, so it is like living with noisy neighbors. Pool was cold, with workers (with their own music) also working there. shower has an open concept but bathroom is too small, so it will wet all over the place. This is NOT a boutique hotel, but a wannabe

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The service impeccable, from when you check in you feel welcome and the cocktails by the pool are incredible. The restaurant is one of the best we ate at on our trip and the cutest little secret. It's a 15 minute walk to town but we had a car.

The design put into this property was beautiful! The bar and second level restaurant was gorgeous, and the free gourmet breakfast was bar none the best I had at any hotel.
soo…its a little noisy here. My room had a window that opened right above the restaurant and bar, which was cool and eccentric, but I did wake up to the coffee grinders! It does all shut down at around 10, so I had no trouble falling asleep. But if you’re a quiet person that values a lot of silence, this may not be the best fit.
