The facilities are very clean and nice, even the shared bathrooms were in great conditions.
The location is quite far from the Antigua center, an uber driver mentioned the location is not very safe at night and is considered dangerous among locals. I personally didn't have any issue, but this is something to consider if you are thinking of walking around late at night.

Very clean room and very clean attached bathroom. Very comfortable mattress. Plenty of electrical outlets all over the place.
Curtain doesn't do a good job of blocking out light; there was no hot water in my private bathroom, although another guest told me they did have hot water in their shared bathroom. The small room really needs more shelf space in order to make the best of the limited space. I did hear loud banging noises during the night, a bunch of times on my 4 night stay.

Friendly staff and clean. Fairly basic but good.
More like a hostel than a hotel but was clean and comfortable.

It's a nice place to stay in Antigua. The host was very friendly and the room was clean. We could use the kitchen.
You'll hear everything what's happening in the hallway and the lights in the hallway will lighten up your room. If the other guests are decent this should not be a problem but unfortunatly that's not always the case.

I liked that everyone had a private bedroom and there were no surprises as far as sharing a room. The rooms were clean.
The kitchen facilities need abit of improvement in my opinion. Newer pots, pans, plates and cups.
The kitchen area is currently merged with the laundry area. A space for just the kitchen would be nice. There would be more room to move around when 2 persons are in the space.
It's not directly in city centre but approximately 15 minutes walk away.

Probably the best bathroom we had in a long time while travelling. The whole building is super new and clean. They let us use the washing machine too and hang our clothes on the roof to dry (made it really cheap)
The rooms are a bit small and dark, but they are fine for a few nights. The place is out of the center so get ready to walk. They have a huge rooftop which would be a wonderful place to chill and do yoga, but they haven't really built it out yet.

Beautiful property in charming Antigua. The entry was very welcoming and the patio upstairs was a great place to relax and look at the mountains.
The food and coffee in Antigua is amazing!
They just need ventilation in the rooms. No a/c is needed, but airflow without letting bugs in would be very nice.
Also, you have to walk a bit to get food.

It was near the supermarket.
No breakfast, there was a fridge to store food, but very little in the way of cooking pots and pans. No cups. Noisy corridor which we all shared and rooms were next to corridor where everyone walked. Not very friendly reception. No room to move in the room. The location was 15-20 minute walk to get to the square or any of the restaurants.

mostly silent and away from all the main spots for the weekend. a little far but otherwise great! hard to spot at first. front desk women was very friendly and helpful. plus fridge and kitchen. fav part was the top rooftop for calls and lounging.

Great value for your money. Dont expect anything fancy, but the price is cheap and the room is clean and quiet. Towel is even included.

absolutely spotless, quiet, good facilities and spacious
little bit of a further walk from the centre but worth it for the price and quality

Exceptionally clean, nice quiet location, lovely terrace! Kitchen, fridge and free water! Kind and accommodating team who let us store our bags overnight whilst we did Acatenango and both times we checked in the room was ready for us :) nice hot showers too!
Nothing!

Clean, good price, easy to find, nice small kitchen to share.
Weak wifi at times, far from city center (15 minute walk), lots of noise from other guests walking, talking or shutting doors.

The hotel was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, it's constantly being cleaned throughout the day. The staff are extremely friendly and let us store our bags for our hike to Acatenango and have a shower on our return despite us not staying that night. They even helped us arrange the best way for us to get to Xela by public transport.
The kitchen is really small and didn't have much cutlery. The upstairs area is really large and a great space but seems to go to waste, it would be great with a couple of hammocks and maybe another table up there.

everything: the rooms and the shared bathrooms were clean, comfortable beds, hot water. the hosts were very nice and accommodating

it has all the basics. staff is very kind and room is clean
it is not a very social place. the only common space (rooftop terrace) is pretty empty. the facilities are all fine but not very charming and homey.

Great and cheap place to stay. Staff is very accomodating
Nothing major, but could have done a bit more to the roof top to make it nice and lush

Perfect staff, perfect place
Hot water ❤️❤️
Rooftop ❤️❤️
Nothing fancy but no need for this and the price is really good - the city will captivate you and you won’t stay in your room

it was a quick walk from town but far enough away that is was very quiet. it was the cleanest place I’ve stayed in Central America. there was hot water so I was happy as a clam.
the kitchen was really tiny so it was hard to coordinate cooking, this isn’t really an issue if you like to eat out though.

Super friendly host. The room and facilities were very clean.
It's a few blocks away from the city centre. It's completely safe of course, but still good te be aware of you don't like walking empty streets at night.

Bit far from centre but still good!

My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 times, both times were great. The rooms are very simple- just the bed, nightstand and a small table. For the price we paid I think this is a great value. They had a small kitchen, where I was able to warm up water for my tea and I saw other people cook there. Also there was a nice terrace with nice views. The bathrooms were clean and so was everything else. Overall a very pleasant experience.
There is absolutely no soundproof. You can hear everything from anywhere in the building. Doesn't matter if you close or open your window-everyone will hear your conversations and if you open a can of soda lol
Not a big deal if you travel by yourself and have no one to talk to, but if youre traveling with a partner or a best friend- just have that in mind, that you have to be extra quiet. After we learned how much the sound travels in the other rooms- we tried to be as quiet as possible for other guests. Also the room we stayed in had an odd unpleasant smell, but we got used to it in a few hours.

it is a such a lovely place. the staff is very sweet and accommodating. the rooftop is very relaxing and spacious and the rooms and shared bathrooms are great and very clean!
The rooftop deserves more attention, because it’s great :)

Nice, quiet place with comfy beds and very clean. Also loved the terrace upstairs
The location is a little far from the center, but we used tuc tuc or did the 15-20 min walk, not a big deal
