Lovely hotel, close to centre of Chester. Short few minutes walk to shops, restaurants & bars.
Clean & comfortable room, portable air con unit in bedroom to keep cool.
Due to keeping the window open for the air con unit, was a little noisy in the morning.

The hotel is beautiful, in a great location and the staff were lovely.
I stayed during warm weather (mid 20s, not a heatwave) and the room was punishingly hot. The small fan provided did nothing to cool the air. Even during the night, when the air cooled considerably outside, the room retained the heat. I would not hesitate to stay here again during cooler months but never again in summer!

Good central location, gorgeous decor, very clean. the staff were lovely and welcoming.
Very noisy, the car across the way played really loud music until 12:30. the light in the bathroom doesn’t turn off and with the glass doors the room is always bright

Rooms were immaculately clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were delightful.
The hotel is well placed for access to the centre of Chester with numerous bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity
Tiny bathroom. The outlook from both bedroom and living area was not only ugly ( which obviously cannot be helped!) but due to the close proximity to the public car park and shopping centre walkway we could not have the curtains open to let in any natural light as people could see directly into the rooms.
The hotel accepts dogs: unfortunately the barking of dogs which had been left unattended in an adjoining room proved rather irritating.

The place was nice the staff were not very understanding..
And the manager is all about taking money from customers and not so much retaining them .
I will never spend a brown penny with them again..
The hotel stated it was Dog friendly
I take my Dogs on most trips if it’s just a day or so .. i didn’t see the charge regarding Dogs . How anyone can think it’s fair game to charge two perfectly well behaved and trained dogs £30 each per night is ridiculous what a con and if you used the money you take of the Dog lovers . Maybe you should buy new beds as the one we slept was full of fleas a long with the carpet.
My bill for one night was pushed upto £260 then told the parking was £10 cost us £24 .
£284 to go away for one night in this over priced bed sit .
I will be leaving feed back on all platforms over this year
You discriminate against animals, not welcome them .
Shocking

The room was well appointed and meet all of our needs
Our room was on the top floor and there are no elevators in the building, which is understandable as it is a listed building

I really can’t say enough how much I loved this property and how wonderful the staff were. We came for my partner’s birthday and they really went above and beyond, they were incredibly friendly and made this such a memorable event. I’m so extremely grateful.
As soon as you walk in, it smells beautiful and it was lovely and warm even in the chill of January. The rooms are immaculately cleaned, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the level of thought and care put into the design of the room was impressive. The decor is tasteful, the tub is amazing and the minibar is very reasonably priced. The music as you come in is wonderful too. The location here is great as you’re right by a set of restaurants, so even late at night you’re near somewhere to drink and eat. Truly faultless and I can’t wait to come back in the future.
Nothing, it was wonderful.

Room a bit hot during the night.

Quirky, beautifully decorated. Excellent position. Enthusiastic friendly, helpful staff. Imaginative spaces. Independence when needed. Loved the bed. Big, comfortable and superb bed linen.
Fresh milk was a genius thought!
It was too hot throughout the hotel despite the radiators being switched off.
Nowhere to put toothbrushes, bags, bottles in the bathroom and especially in the shower and on the bath - nowhere to put the soap/gel.
Our shower room was awash with a leaking showerhead. The manager worked incredibly hard to fix it and eventually did.
Bad design of the water drainage meant the floor was awash right up to the toilet. Finding somewhere to keep a dry bath mat was impossible. Not at all sure about the room perfume on the stairs but luckily the actual rooms had no perfume.

Very high quality fixtures fittings bed linen.
Well stocked fridge in our room. Staff very polite and helpful. The location was ideal for the City Centre and riverside area.

The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Staff were friendly.
These are self catering apartments - it's not a hotel. It's situated next to a car park ramp and the room we were in was directly overlooked by traffic going in and out. Room decor is quite bland... didn't feel very comfortable/cozy.
The bathroom had no electric socket for a razor or toothbrush charger.
No breakfast option.

Excellent hotel from start to finish! Received a message prior to checking in requesting our ETA to get our room ready if possible, advising of places to park etc which was a great start and very helpful. We stopped in the tree house which was amazing, staff were really friendly throughout and recommended places to eat etc, room was beautiful and clean and plenty of snacks and drinks in the mini bar if required.

Hotel was well located however as it was a weekend we were disturbed by loud music that went on till 1.30 am . That was the only low point in an otherwise quiet stay .

Stayed in Flamingo. Room great, comfy bed. Lovely staff.
The only downside on a Saturday night was the thumping club music that could be heard from a nearby venue until after 3 am.

This is in an excellent location
Helpful and friendly staff.
Useful information about parking in the adjacent multistory car park provided in advance of arrival
My daughter couldn't find the hair dryer she needed but I found it eventually.
Slightly odd layout of the two bedrooms - with one in the communal area so not truly a two-bedroom apartment

Our stay at the Hotel Chester was exceptional, so welcoming and such a gorgeous place. Myself and my fiancé stayed for a night as part of my birthday celebrations and it was lovely this was in the Polo room. The staff were very accommodating & just couldn’t do enough for you. We will definitely be returning ☺️

The room standard was excellent with plenty of space, good facilities including a mini-bar, very clean together with an excellent location for Chester. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The only thing to be aware of is the high cost of parking overnight in the adjacent car park.

A beautifully furnished room and bathroom with great quality bed linen and towels.
A drunk woman staying across the landing made such a noise at nearly midnight. I heard her being very rude to a member of staff. She was abusive and should have been removed from the premises.

Beautiful hotel, great staff , great location. You would struggle to find better in Chester if you want an apartment. Put a bar and restaurant in there it would be perfect
