This location is great if you are visiting the Canyon Rim area of New River Gorge National Park. While there is an on-site restaurant, you are just a couple of miles from lots of other options. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. No complaints!

This hotel is old, I think everyone can agree. Despite the age, it is clean and the employees are friendly. The location is excellent. The contential breakfast is fine. The bedding is good. We didn't swim or play tennis, but next year we may bring pickelball rackets.

Convenient location right by New River Gorge National Park. This was a motel style that did alright for our 1 night stay. Biggest complaint was the musty smell of our room since it is an old property. But beds & shower were updated. Clean enough, just dated.

Great room for our purpose. It is very close to the park entrance of New River National Park. The bath room fan a little noisy but over all nice stay.

The late-night receptionist was AMAZING. It was so late when we checked in and she took my earlier call, remembered me when I arrived, gave me apples from her own tree, and was SO kind to us. Best staff ever. Place was clean and comfortable. My only minor comment was that the air conditioner was pretty loud through the night but it was working well! What an amazing place for the cost.

This was a two night stop in Fayetteville to visit New River Gorge National Park on my way to MD. This was a great stop! Room was spacious and well appointed. Great hot breakfast and a restaurant right there along with a gift shop. Also, less than 5 miles from the Visitor Center for the National Park. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area

The property was a little dated, but other than that it was a great property. I wish the pool would have been open later than 9PM. We will stay here again.

One of the rooms we were in the first night was very musty-smelling and just needed a good update. The other room that we stayed in for two nights was in better condition with no significant smell/odor. The location was good for our needs as it was close to the Ace Adventure Resort.

The room was very small, the carpet felt damp and it smelt musty to me. The handicap assesible was a king only, which wouldn't work for 4 of us. We thought we coyld try the doylbe room, but the transport chair barely fit betwwen the beds and the dressser. Couldn't get into the bathroom at all. We had to leave and find other accommodations. Its too bad because it was conveniently located.

We actually enjoyed staying here because it was so close to New River Gorge NP. It was surprisingly quiet even though it is close to a busy road. The outside could use some sprucing up but our room was clean and comfortable.

Older property but in good shape and well maintained. Everything was clean and beds/pillows were so comfy. Front desk helped us book a second room and gave us a late checkout. Very appreciated!

Location…location…location… the hotel is close to lots of hiking which is what we cared about the most. There were lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and very quiet. The breakfast was okay. I think if they added more fresh fruit, toast, bagels, oatmeal, granola, bran cereal it would have been much better. The eggs had a lot of water on them too. We just drained them a bit. lol!

The room was in the back and smelt like a wet dog. I walked across the rug and my feet were BLACK. I took pictures of the door in the bathroom which looked chewed off at the bottom and walls in the bathroom on the bottom were terrible looking. We were there two nights and they didnt even stop to pick up our trash after the first night.

The rooms are fine, and convenient restaurant in the hotel. The pool was out of order on oir first visit, and the only reason to use the hotel. On the way back through the pool was open but obviously cloudy and poor water quality

I really enjoyed staying at this property. I’m a solo traveler and I felt safe. This hotel itself is dated, but clean. It’s a good place to come back and relax after you’ve explored the area. I had a lot of early risers around me (construction) and I never heard anyone from my room. The hotel has a cute little bar and grill and I can see it being a good time during the evening hours. I went during lunch so it wasn’t as busy. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because the pool was not in order. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and I was bummed because an evening at the pool would’ve been nice. This was also a part of the reason that I booked here. Besides the pool, staff was friendly and I felt like everyone was welcoming. The ladies that checked me in and out were so friendly. Knowing the condition of the pool I would still stay here again, but I think it needs to be mentioned, if not already, that the pool is no longer an option.
