Lovely stay in a perfectly located, comfortable and cosy house.

The location was perfect, half way between the older part of town and the newer part. Having parking was great. The house was very comfortable and cosy and there was a lovely welcome pack. There was also a Christmas tree and some decorations, a totally unexpected and very nice touch. Every time we contacted the host she was very helpful. She was also proactive in advance of our stay, sending details of things to do.

We had a few issues getting in, partly due to the fact it was dark and raining, but the phone was answered immediately when we called the host and the situation was resolved. I was surprised that we couldn't find instruction manuals for anything, but we managed to work out what we needed.

Ein perfekter und sehr wohnlicher Aufenthalt im Herzen von Lincoln am Fuß von Steep Hill.

Die Lage ist maximal zentral, besser geht es nicht! Es war eine super Erstausstattung für die Ankunft bereitgestellt: Toast, Butter, Milch, Marmelade, Tee, Kaffee. Jill war jederzeit gut erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit.

Im Bad wären zusätzliche Halterungen für Handtücher hilfreich, im Kleinen Schlafzimmer eine Möglichkeit, z.B. Stuhl, für das Ablegen von Kleidungsstücken.

A beautifully presented house in a very convenient location

Great location with secure parking,well furnished and decorated, a homely feel

Only one toilet roll provided, had to get more Rather noisy at night and at 5am due to drunken people accessing nearby bars

Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Strugglers Retreat. The house was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed, even a lovely little garden. The owner was always always on hand if we needed anything and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The house was in the perfect location to explore the city. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to the city centre and tourist attractions. Excellent welcome basket.

The weather. We had to dodge the showers for most of our stay 😂.

Fabulous location on Steep Hill, so very close to the historic sites. Beautiful house with great decor and fitted out with everything needed.

It was all great. Really helpful owner. Maybe a bigger kitchen bin? Pretty perfect otherwise.

Perfect

Lovely little house in the centre of Lincoln. The owners had thought of everything that you could possibly need during a stay and also left a basket of food and drink to get us started. Located next to Steep Hill, which takes you up to the cathedral and castle, with some lovely shops and cafes/restaurants. The shopping centre is also not far in the opposite direction. Having parking was also really handy. We really enjoyed our stay and loved Lincoln. Should we visit again, I will definitely be looking to stay here again. Thank you

lovely host, great communication. Lovely welcome pack. Allowed to check in early which was much appreciated on a very cold day and after a 3.5 hour drive. Comfy bed. Christmas decorations up which was so lovely.

Great location, secure parking, lovely property, clean and comfortable, all facilities you would need, thoughtful welcome pack, good communication with host. All in all a real gem. Would highly recommend.
