Weekend in York

Apartment was very modern and clean, had everything you needed for a short stay.

Unfortunately the road next to the building was quite busy so therfore a lot of traffic noise. Couldn't leave a window open on a hot summer night, there was a fan to use but then have the noise from that.

Excellent stay, highly recommended

Great location only 10-15 mins walk from the centre. Property had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Free, secure parking was a big advantage over other properties too. Welcome gift was also appreciated!

Modern apartment, great location, nice facilities + would stay again

Really comprehensive guide on check in/how to use items in the apartment Parking was a great addition, nice + secure and the hosts were really helpful with flexibility of timings around the use of the parking space as we arrived before the check in time Welcome box was a lovely touch All items supplied which make a self catering stay a bit easier without having to buy completely separately e.g. washing up liquid/tin foil Approx 20 Min walk to the main part of York e.g. minster/shambles

The windows aren't the most sound proof and there were lots of emergency vehicles regularly going past. This was noticed most in the lounge/kitchen and didn't affect our sleep

It was a fabulous weekend in York to mark our wedding anniversary which we will never forget.

it was in a great location near to everything we wanted and only a short walk into the centre of the city. Very clean and in excellent condition. we were so comfortable thank you.

Like a second house in York!

The property is very spacious and nice, and well positioned in a nice area close to the centre. The kitchen appliances and furniture are great and the apartment is also well furnished with everything you may need.

The bed could use a new mattress, as this one is a bit old and not very comfortable.

we had a really lovely time here, especially the pub literally opposite the apartment and how close it is to the centre

It was modern, easy to find, we liked how secure it was (especially the locked car park), everything you needed in the kitchen.

An enjoyable stay and we intend to return next year if available ,The Walk is our first choice.

We stayed at the Walk previous because we like this side of York
