Overall a pretty good stay, the facility is equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, and coffee maker. Nice area close to the zoo and beach in walking distance.
Some cleanliness issues with sand on the floor and carpet and left over water in the kettle when I arrived. Contacted customer service and was offered room service for cleaning the next day.

We really loved our room that was really nicely decorated. We liked the neighborhood. The patio is small but nice. The bed was really comfy. Peace and harmony.
I would have given a 10 if it wasn’t for the dishonest and deceiving description: entire home?! One bedroom home?! Private entrance?! What you will get is a small room with a shared entrance and a mini fridge (it would be nice to find a couple of bottles of water in it). There’s no room to have even breakfast. The “fully equipped kitchenette” is a tiny prep table set in a tiny corner. The kettle was still full of water when we opened it for the first time, Coffee machine didn’t work (probably the cable) I cut my finger to try to open the fridge(no handles).only trash can is in the bathroom as the only sink. Again it’s a small room with a few tools, not an “entire one bedroom home”! Indeed at first I thought there was a mistake.I needed a little bit of space because I was getting married and with the dresses on we could barely move.Windows were very difficult to manage, one kept getting off the thing that makes it open and you have to remove the mosquitos curtain to put it back. Beware the BBQ right beyond. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom. Only two small shelves with toilet paper on them. But what really set us off was the total absence of care. The check in was at 4pm(!). Booking asks at what time do you think you will arrive, I answered 10am and doing so I automatically asked for a early check in, that was promptly denied, but no biggy. The checkout was at 10am. We asked for a late checkout (11)because we were tired and they immediately answered that it wasn’t possible. Maybe there was a good reason for it, but they didn’t take the time to explain so it was very rude. Now, it certainly doesn’t take 6 hours to clean a tiny room, especially when it wasn’t so clean when we arrived. We found blond hairs in the bed and around the room. Also they knew it was my wedding, they sent me thousand of texts and emails (extremely annoying) with the same infos about the check-in and never said a “congrats “. It’s a tiny cozy place, but the management needs improvements.

The location was good and the bed was comfortable.
There was no hot water in the unit. As I stood in the cold shower I thought that the water would eventually warm but it didn’t. Then I noticed what I thought were hair shavings in the tub. I was later told that they were just scratches. I never touched them to verify. There was a brown stain on the side of the tub that I was later told was in the listing photo (look next to the bath mat). The door doesn’t quite pull closed. (See photo) Regarding the hot water, here is the message from them asking me to try to resolve the issue.
“Thank you for reaching out to us. I am so sorry to hear that there is no hot water. Please try these few steps to see if we can resolve the issue with the hot water. Please check the breaker box to make sure all switches are in the proper spot. Please run hot water from multiple faucets in the home to ensure the issue is with the hot water heater. If there is no hot water at this point, find the location of the water heater and the pilot light…”
I was told that someone fixed the hot water problem after I left.

This is a very cute room and adjoining bathroom in a quiet neighborhood in a great location. The walls are thin and all noise can be heard.
