Traveled to DC with a small group of teen girls on a mentoring trip. The space was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed our stay and the house was nice. The VRBO app did glitch quite a bit so we needed to text with the owner instead of in app communication but that had no reflection on how responsive the owner was.

I enjoyed the space, and everyone had enough room. It was a little hard keeping our 8yr old from running and jumping on the main level as requested. The street was nice, but pretty far from anything with not so great areas on both sides forcing us to drive anywhere we wanted to go and no metro station nearby. Older home has a lot of quirks, but also has a lot of character and was overall better than staying in a hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was cute and felt safe. The beds were comfortable. Getting to the landmarks does take some time if using public transit. The metro station is about a 20 minute walk. There are bus stops that are closer. Otherwise, Uber or Lyft are your best options for getting to your destinations quickly.

We had a great weekend visit. We were very comfortable with plenty of room for my family of 5 adults, 2 kids. We would love to stay here again!

I really enjoyed the house. It was spacious and actually bigger than it looked in the pictures. Definitely a great find for DC.

Communication with owner was fantastic. We had some minor problems that were responded to immediately. Location is great, with garage and street parking, but public trans is not great -- we used Lyft and Uber to get around. Close to landmarks, the Mall, and all the major sites (10-20 minute ride). House was fine overall, and I'm sure in summer it has fantastic air-conditioning. Three bedrooms are on 2nd floor, including very large bedroom with huge TV, and a master suite on the third floor. The master suite has (in addition to central air/heat) an additional heat/air-conditioning unit. We stayed through some of the coldest days of the year (0-10°F) and the house tended to be cold on the 1st floor (kitchen, living room, dining room) and much too warm on the upper floors. The kitchen is good with excellent quality knives, well stocked staples (olive oil, salt, pepper, paper towels) and some surprising extras (dried herbs, avocado oil), but short on other things (no baking sheets, no pasta bowls). Overall, highly recommended. The host is far and away one of the best I've ever dealt with.

Very roomy and comfortable. The house was so nice and the neighborhood was great!
We will definitely be back!
