About this house rental

First Row!!! Unobstructed view, beach front location with panoramic views in a great location of Jamaica Beach, Galveston Island. The house is literally on the beach with easy access to the beach. Romantic walk on the beach are right in front of the house. New paint, remodel 3 bathrooms and almost entire house. Beautiful downstairs area to enjoy the breeze, rinse off in the outdoor shower downstairs.
Free driveway parking on premises, 4 spaces. Washer and dryer included
Panoramic views from the open concept living/kitchen/dining area.
For security purpose. We have security cameras outside only (driveway and entry door.

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom has a king size bed, 2 night stand, dresser, walk in closet, full bathroom, futon to seat/ sleep additional 2 if needed.
Bedroom 2: has a queen size bed, 1 night stand, closet and a full bathroom
Bedroom 3: has 2 double size bed, 1 night stand, 2 closet.
1 bunk bed in the living room see beautiful gulf views.
Spacious deck, lounge chairs and tables to enjoy panoramic Gulf views.

Pets are welcome! There will be an additional charge of $100 pet fee for the entire of your stay (limit 2 pets). We ask that pets stay off all furniture.

The house is nice and I loved that it has 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The living/kitchen area is very open and arranged well. It worked perfectly for my family. The deck on the back of the house was the best part of the house. We sat outside and “people-watched” for hours. Only complaint was the air conditioning in the house. It did not keep the house cool. The temp in the house stayed around 80 degrees which was rather uncomfortable in Texas. I will say that the owner was responsive to my complaints about the air conditioning and she even sent two portable a/c units on the last day. But her efforts didn’t really help much. It was still warm in the house.

We didn’t even stay. The property had no working A/C. The owner of the house has 3 portacoolers running inside, but it was 86 degrees while they were set at 68. The appropriate thing to do would be to let us know before we checked in. However, they were hoping we would stay in the 86 degree home and they didn’t tell us. Since they didn’t tell us there we’re literally 0 other homes to stay at, and our family had to split up in different hotel rooms. It was a nightmare. I’m only giving 2 stars because if the A/C would have worked I believe the stay would have been pleasant.

We arrived and the house had not been cleaned yet but they came quickly and were done in about an hour, we enjoyed a few drinks at nearby restaurant. We did not have AC during our stay, the property manager did her best trying to get it fixed and her communication was great through the process. Unfortunately for us the stay was on the warm side, but she did provide extra cooling units to help. As long as the AC was working properly, we would consider staying there again.

Nice property, not everything worked in the house, example toilet in master was not cleaned prior to arrival, would not flush toilet paper that was in there when arrived. Even went out and purchased plunger. It did not help. Owner said plumber would stop by at 9:30 today and no one showed up. This property is really nothing special.

This property offers the best location right on the beach. We spent many hours relaxing on the deck enjoying the Gulf waters and walking the sandy beach. This property offers the perfect relaxing experience. The property offers a spacious interior with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and full kitchen. The location is also great as it is located near numerous local restaurants.

This property is fantastic and one you will not forget. My family and I had an amazing time away from the hustle and bustle of life and next to the waves of the ocean. We had plenty of space, and the owner went out of her way to always assist. 5-star review!
