Comfortable rooms/beds. Great walking area to Minute Maid Park and local restaurants. Only bad thing to say is I didn’t like having the garden style tub instead of just a shower. It was a little slippery and hard to cross over after a recent ankle surgery so I would imagine that would be tough for older people or those with mobility issues. I would ask for a room without it if possible.

Overall the stay was amazing . We had a great time downtown . The cream on the cake was coming back to this beautiful room. I will definitely be back.

my stay was fine. I was there a short time. the women who checked me in were rude and dismissive. one could not find my hotels.com reservation and would not try to problem solve. her colleargue helped her but neither made eye contact and acted as though I it was inconvenient for them to process my check-in. not th service I have had at this hotel in the past. the gentlement at valet and front door were polite and helpful.

Service personnel were excellent- friendly and professional

Amazing Hotel. Very elegant and beautiful. Extremely clean and safe and comfortable. A 5 star 🌟 Hotel in downtown Houston. Very classy. Got early check in. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous, especially Michelle. Very friendly and very understanding. Thanks Michelle for making our trip to Houston a memorable experience, thank you. The rooms are very spacious and very clean and decorated with such great taste. Very beautiful and a wonderful place. Breakfast was wonderful and delicious. I will recommend this Hotel to everyone who is planning a trip to downtown Houston. Definitely a 5 Star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Hotel.

I feel that room service or dining service should be offered past 11 PM on the weekend.Especially if people are staying there for an event close by at minute maid park.it was very hard to go out to find food due too many clubs open and people acting crazy in the street
4.4
I'm guessing the high price is what you pay for downtown convenience. Hotel was nice and clean, but for the price, there was nothing super special or spectacular about it. The pool was green. At check-in, we were told that there were muffins and coffee for breakfast, but we only found coffee.
4.4
Rooftop pool started out great in the morning but by the evening the deck area was littered with towels and the water was green

Super clean perfect location for the price

We felt like someone rolled out the red carpet for us. My family and I stayed here for a planned end of summer trip to an Astros game. Everyone was so welcoming! The Asst. Front Office Manager went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fun, relaxing and very comfortable stay! Our complements to the Valet team and the Restaurant/Bar Staff as well, everyone worked really hard and provided amazing service. We just want to say Thank You! We look forward to our next stay!

Great location! Helpful staff.

Staff was friendly. Robert was kind, friendly, and very professional. Excellent customer service delivered with a smile.

The pool was inoperable and that is one of the reasons I booked a stay there. I was celebrating my 2nd wedding anniversary and wanted to show my wife the view from the rooftop at night. We were unable to do that.
4.4
Good location and walkable to the ballpark.
4.4
My grandsons really enjoyed staying there
4.4
Great property but a lot of homeless people in area
4.4
Lovely space. The gent that checked me in failed to introduce himself and was not very friendly. The ambiance and other pleasant staff compensated for my check in experience. We did not take advantage of the pool needs cleaning.

This hotel has a lot of character and history as a printing press. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were top notch.
4.4
In general everything was good, the location, room, food and staff was great. The only bad thing is that the pool needs maintenance. Is missing some tiles and my daughter had a small cut on her toe.

Enjoyed my stay

The staff was so amazing

First of all the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. They have a pool on the roof which the kids LOVED and it has an awesome skyline view! Minute Maid park was 4 blocks away. Many food options close by. Parking was easy with a seprate independent garage around the corner.

My son got bitten badly by bed bugs. Around 30 bites. Although the hotel staff did move me to another room when requested. They did not compensate me or apologize. Now one week later, I had to take my son to urgent care because he is having an allergic reaction to the bites.

The GOOD first : The LOCATION is excellent - the bed and bedding was super comfortable. And some of the staff was very nice and friendly. The NOT so Good: Some staff in the restaurant - not so much. I sat for 5 minutes waiting for the server (who walked by me no less than 3 times) to provide a plate for the buffet. And was rude on top of it. Internet was HORRIBLE in the rooms - downstairs it was fine, but I had meetings I needed to take in my room, so that was inconvenient. Food was VERY mediocre to not really that good. No microwave in room (a little odd these days) Elevators were EXTREMELY slow - even had to take the stairs one night as there were so many people waiting. Just glad I got the Expedia price instead of prices listed on their website - I would have been very disappointed.

The hotel room was nice and the rooftop pool was quaint and the view from up there was nice in the evening. The valet parking price was over priced in my opinion but the guys did a good job. The breakfast was extremely over priced for what was provided. The available breakfast food would have been considered a free breakfast at other hotels I have stayed in.

Excellent hotel and great location from the Minute Maid Park. Also their Shuttle is very convenient. Will most definitely stay again.

This hotel was beautiful. Great rooftop pool and staff was amazing!

Valet staff very helpful and prompt service. Front desk and dining staff kind and friendly. Overall great experience. Walking distance to Minute Mail field but shuttle available if needed.

Friendly and helpful staff and I loved my view in my room.

Everything was wonderful! Definitely staying there again,

This Hotel was fabulous. Perfect for my best friend and I to enjoy a girls trip. The bartender was wonderful. The shuttle driver Melvin was also just fabulous. We had a great time there and will stay again!

Booked on expedia for two beds in the room. Upon arrival the first words from the desk was "there are no double bed rooms, there's a software failure."
No offer for reimbursement, but they did give us sheets on hand. Two of us slept on the floor.

I booked Marriott Hotel is a different location, after paid and confirm, I went to check in its different location! Confusion!

Northon at the front desk was so friendly, sweet and accommodating. Hotel was clean, modern and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was nice. The hotel was good, service was good, but the breakfast was over priced... $20 for basically a buffet breakfast (but you can get your eggs done in the kitchen if you like, that was a nice touch). But the pancakes were warmed too long, and the other choices pretty standard. The Paris Cafe right next to the hotel is a good breakfast/coffee option. The ice machines were hit and miss (they're on every 3rd level) the soda machines were all empty.
The rooftop pool was nice and refreshing with a very nice panoramic view of the city and the workout room was nicely equipped.
Though the hotel was nice there are a few heads up. Parking is expensive, but you are downtown. There is a garage kitty corner from the hotel for $30/day. Valet parking is $45/day. Homeless folks right down the block making walking somewhat uncomfortable, especially for my wife. She refused to walk alone, smart girl. I would be cautious at night. Go in a group and you should be okay. The old town is very close, just a few blocks with good options for food and entertainment. The trolly is about a block away. The Astros ballfield is a few blocks down the street.
Overall, considering the costs of other downtown hotels, this was a good value.

The hotel was beautiful and worth the stay
