Stayed here a few times. This was the first time staying with friends in a triple room. It's so nice to find a property that has 3 single beds! Room wasnt all that large considering it was for 3. However,.it was very clean and comfortable. It was modern and had all the amenities we could want. The bathroom was spacious and the water was very hot! The staff were very friendly and helpful. as always would be happy to return!

This is my go to hotel for trips to Cardiff. The location is superb - right by the train station and all the shops and bars etc Always clean and the staff are fantastic

Overall the stay was great for one night and no complaints. I had an issue with the TV (user error not the TV and reception came up and sorted it is two minutes) My only small issue is there was a very ominous stain on the carpet between the beds, and I tend to walk around the room with no shoes on, also the throw at the bottom of the bed seemed slightly due for a refresh. Small issues and the only thing worth mentioning but great hotel, great location to the train station (although I drove), great proximity to restaurants, and friendly staff

The lifts were temperamental in that you would select floor 8 in our case and it would take you somewhere else. This happened several times and we had to use the emergency stairs. The breakfast items were not well cooked. The bacon was almost boiled. Overall the service looked understaffed amd quality of food was lacking. The room felt very cramped and the bed was not the most comfortable. We had to wait for almost an hour for toilet roll that never arrived. The reason for this was the staff were very busy.

We only stopped a night enroute from north Wales. Excellent location. Walked from the Railway Station. Plenty of eateries/pubs/ coffee bars etc around Room was good. Extra bonus not seen often was the coffee machine. Including a decaf pod 👍

We had an internal room and found it very Claustrophobic asked a lady in reception if we could up grade the room as I didn’t like we didn’t have much of a window. We couldn’t fault them they moved us room with no issues to a very large corner room with double windows .. so helpful the room was amazing Also had sky and coffee machine Supper clean room Would highly recommend this hotel

This was a great location for exploring the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the room would benefit from having a proper deep clean and an update refurb as it's a bit dated. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was very good.

For a 30th Birthday Celebration, it was really disappointing. I had contacted the hotel prior to our stay to see if there could be any added touches or if we could have 3 single beds instead of a double and this did not happen. Everything in the room was catered for 2 people staying and not 3 as paid for, inc towels, pillows, water, cups etc. The bathroom was also fairly disgusting. Filthy toilet and all around the underneath of the toilet too. Hairs in the shower/bath and generally very unclean. Really disappointed.

Breakfast is awful, the eggs are severely overcooked and bitter. Potatoes really dry and taste of nothing. Orange slices were dry and tasteless. The doors are really loud from other rooms on floor 5. Room is very nice though, clean warm and the bathroom is set up well.

Great room for the 3 of us ladies; one double and a single bed both of which were clean and very comfortable. Only downside was that the air con could not be lowered and it switched off at midnight so the room was very hot in August so sleep wasn’t great. Bottled water in the room and tea and coffee options. Great breakfast options. Safe in the room which is always a bonus. Stayed here a few times it’s great value for money in a very good location in the city centre.

Recommend improving Housekeeping service. The room was a bit dusty and when the cleaner came to clean whilst i was there she hardly spent 5 minutes cleaning the room including the bathroom. The cups, spoons and glasses inside the room where dirty as well.

Hotel room was lovely, we had a corner room on yhe 5th floor which was fab for people watching at night, could hear a lot of traffic, music and noise in room but your in a central location. The shower was the biggest let down. Hardly any power, Bath is narrow so not much room to move when stood in shower, was very high and not powerful. The taps also stuck out so couldn’t really get back under it enough. Breakfast stopped at 21 but went down at 10:30 and was told they were not making any more and had to have what was left… not a lot!! Location was great for a night out or day shopping if you don’t mind abit of noise, bed was also comfy.

This is probably the best hotel for easy access to St Mary’s Street where most of the pubs/clubs/cafes are based. 5 mins away from Cardiff Central Train Station. So a lot of great things about it. However, I must add, the rooms did not have a fridge or freezer and the air-con switched off at midnight for energy conservation. Sounds good but not a great experiences for guests during summer months. Overall, a little too expensive for the amenities offered
