Location was convenient. Had beautiful furnishings.
Dead roach in room. Bed way to soft for us and no way to control temperature, room was hot. Breakfast was disappointing.
4.7
Beautiful, time period, cleanliness, and the porch.
4.7
We left too early to enjoy the breakfast but the inn keeper made us sandwiches.
Booking.com said it was pet friendly but when we got there we were told it was not. They accommodated us anyway.
4.7
Location was quiet and centrally located.
Staff wasn’t warm or inviting. Breakfast was disappointing. There were no options and croissant egg sandwich was tasteless.
4.7
The Granville Queen Inn was gorgeous! The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed everything about our stay. We ordered flowers for our room and they were also exceptional!
4.7
Delicious.
Needed to offer juice with the meal.
4.7
The house was beautifully decorated and laid out. The front porch and surrounding grounds were inviting and beautifully landscaped.
4.7
The location was very good, within walking distance of downtown Edenton. The staff was excellent and the home was beautiful! We had a very nice stay
4.7
Beautiful historical inn.
4.7
Breakfast was really delicious.
Water bottles in the rooms would be nice.
4.7
The breakfast was delicious and the server very pleasant!!!
The bathroom tub is too high and safety rails should be installed for stability.
4.7
I like a small refrigerator in my room. I don’t eat out every meal.
4.7
beautiful renovation of an old grand home
we had some problems with the stairs

Beautiful appointments in decor preserving the historical feel of the area. Exceptional eye to details from the plush bath towels to the decadent ooey butter cake!
That we didn’t stay longer

Exceptional B & B
4.7
Wonderful historic house, beautiful living room and sweet veranda. Great breakfast, room and furniture with lots of character. A piece of paradise well located in the heart of the beautiful town of Edenton.
Decoration of the rooms à little austere.
4.7
beautiful location and beautiful furnishings
Our only issue is with booking.com and this was our first use of this site. If we had wanted to make revisions to our reservation, it should be made perfectly clear in booking.com that we would be charged the full reservation rate for all four nights. Fortunately the location was nice but if it wasn't, we had no options to cancel without being charged for full cost of reservation. We will not be using booking.com again.

The breakfast was marvelous! Pancakes, scones fresh fruit etc. All delicious. It would have been helpful to have had some lower calorie options such as poached eggs, wheat toast, oatmeal and other cereal. The breakfasts all were delicious but quite rich! Still, if asked, Jeanne was happy to prepare something lighter.
The house is beautiful and charming.
The only downside was that the tv would not work as it couldn't connect with wifi but we didn't miss tv too much.
The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is neat and clean. The furnishings are outstanding!! All great!!
Tv did't work and room was too hot one night. Those were the only negatives. Overall it was a great place and we'd like to stay there again.

Everything was very nice. it was decorated very nicely for the Holidays when we arrived.
I only have a couple of suggestions.
I would have enjoyed some Gluten free options for Breakfast . as I have Gluten Free allergies.
Just simple GF toast or bagels could be kept on hand in the freezer or Cheerios or yogurt. They were very nice and did serve fruit and bacon to me.
I also thought it would be nice touch to offer a welcome Cocktail from 5:00 to 6:00 with some simple cheese and grapes etc.
Our room #13 had a very beautiful bedroom set. But unfortunately a super loud creaky bed. Every time you moved at all. My husband tried to put some washcloths under the legs, to help with the noise.
We felt like it was probably very noisy for our neighbors. It might just need furniture coasters. I thought the room needs some decorations for the mantel and walls. It was a little sterile looking.

The breakfast was incredible. Better than most high end restaurants. The house was an antique and beautiful. Christmas decorations were beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Common spaces were lush and comfortable. Location was perfect, in the middle of the historic district of Edenton, NC
The house still needed some work. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the shower was too hot, and the air temperature was difficult to control. No housekeeping services. Furniture was too large for our room. Worst of all, my checking account was charged $300 without warning. I had to call the booking company to find out that it was in case of damage. The charge was finally dropped.

Jeanie prepared a delicious breakfast.
No improvement needed, we had a wonderful stay.

The innkeeper, Jeannie was great. From the moment we arrived until we left she was friendly, professional and efficient.
There was a "young lady" that served breakfast. I do not know her name, she was attentive, helpful, efficient and polite.
Breakfast and the chocolate cup cakes in the afternoon were outstanding.
Overall, the inn was very special.
Nothing. Our experience for the two nights was perfect.
4.7
Location, pretty inn and room, pleasantness of Jeannie
The room was a bit warm though it was unseasonably warm out, there was a floor fan
